The Park Family's little princess

"You scored 95 points out of 100 and you didn't miss the timing." The coach announced to them.

"95 points, why is it not 100?." Kim Hyejin asked in surprise.

It seems like this little child was expecting the best! 🤭🤭

"Jenny, that means you are not 100 percent perfect." Park Hayoon explained to her.

"Your facial expressions were not right for three moves you made, so that's where your 5 points went missing from." The coach said to her.

"No, I want a hundred!." Kim Hyejin said as she skated away to stand in a pose.

Park Hayoon sighed at her daughter before going to turn on the music for her.

This time around, her point dropped by 2, and the little girl was so pissed.

"Hyejin, you can't get it right that way. Just feel the song and express what you feel. You've watched Beauty and the Beast right?." The coach asked.

"Yes, so many times!." Kim Hyejin replied in a sad tone.

"Then I'm sure you saw all of Belle's expressions in the movie while doing this song. Just imagine the way she did it in your head. Close your eyes, and let that scene replay in your head." The coach instructed, and she did as she was told.

"Did you explain the cartoon to her when she was watching it because if she can not tell Belle's feelings, she can not portray it perfectly?" The coach whispered to Park Hayoon.

"She knows the cartoon-like the back of her hand. And she understands Belle's feelings." Park Hayoon whispered back.

"Then, her mistakes must be because she is after getting a full point instead of getting the facial expressions right." The coach whispered to her before turning to the little girl who had her eyes shut.

"Hyejin, let's call it day. We will meet here tomorrow morning. We will practice in the morning and the evening. So, see you tomorrow!." The coach said as she waved to her.

"Bye coach!." Kim Hyejin said as she waved goodbye to her coach.

"Mama, I would have loved to practice more, but my coach just left." Kim Hyejin complained as she sat on a bench and as her mother helped her to change shoes.

"Don't be too hard of yourself. You must not be perfect. As long as you have a good result, then it's more than okay. By the way, you should rest, and that's why your coach released you early." Park Hayoon said to her before walking towards the coach who came back to hand the CD 📀 to her.

"But I don't want to rest. I don't have time for that, I've got to practice." Kim Hyejin said with furrowed brows. She was truly after getting the perfect score.

Park Hayoon stared wordlessly at her before going on to pack their properties. When she was done, she held the little girl's hand and started walking away.

"Hyejin, when we get home, I will play 'Beauty and the Beast one more time for you, so you can catch all of Belle's facial expressions. Then after that, we will practice the dance moves and facial expressions, and then, you can take a long rest." Park Hayoon said to her.

"Okay, Mama." Kim Hyejin replied.

When they got home, Park Hayoon played the cartoon for her as they ate some healthy nuts and fruits.

This was Park Hayoon's way of getting her to relax before they would commence with the dance practice.

Kim Hyejin practiced till she became too tired to continue. So she obediently went to eat her dinner before going to bed.

The next morning, Park Hayoon packed Kim Hyejin's outfit (for the competition) in small traveling luggage 🧳, plus other things they would need.

"Mama, do I get to try my costume in the rink today?." Kim Hyejin asked as she knotted the laces of her sneakers 👟 messily.

"Yes, of course. And this would be the first time you would be doing that. I want you to get the feeling of competing." Park Hayoon said to her as she zipped the luggage.

Then her eyes turned to look at her shoelaces that were knotted funnily. She chuckled softly as she moved to her side.

"I will help you with that." She said to her.

"Mama, will Uncle, Ji Hu come to watch me practice today?." Kim Hyejin inquired as she watched her mother redo her shoelaces.

"Yes! In fact, he's coming with us. He missed yesterday's practice because he had to go to grandpa's company." Park Hayoon explained.

"Alright, we are good to go!." Park Hayoon said to her with a smile on her face.

"Mama, what about my hairstyle? Do I leave it this way?." Kim Hyejin asked as she peeped at the mirror.

Actually, what she meant was if her hair wouldn't be styled like she was going for the competition, and Park Hayoon very well understood her.

"Your hair is okay that way. But if you're obedient and don't slack off with your practice, I will get a hairstylist and a make-up artist for you on the day of the Competition." Park Hayoon said to her as she led her out of the room.

"Wow! Mama, that means I get to be treated like a princess!!!." Kim Hyejin shrieked excitedly.

"Jenny! Be careful, watch your steps!." Park Hayoon said as she chased after her. She was afraid she would fall and injure herself when she had a competition.

"Hyejin-ah you look so happy, what good news do you have this time around?." Park Ji Hu asked as he watched his niece skip to the dining area.

"Mama said she will dress me up like a little Princess on the day of my Competition." Kim Hyejin replied.

"I see, interesting." Park Ji Hu commented.

"You are our Family's little Princess, so you deserve to look like one." Park Mun Hee said as she lifted the little girl and placed her on her seat.

During breakfast, Kim Hyejin didn't eat much, because she was excited. But she drank her milk shake obediently.
