7. THE SURPRISE
"So who did this?" I asked Olivia with all curiosity
"He did" she replied as she pointed to a young dashing, very handsome Alexander Kins, My intern worker!!!!!!!
"Awwwwww!!!!!" I whispered, was speechless, almost in tears.
He started walking towards me, My heart started beating super fast, what is going on. This was the same feeling I felt the other day at the office, He was right in front of me, what would I say.. I couldn't even say anything, Do I look nice? Different thoughts started bombing my head, I might explode anytime soon.
"Happy birthday to you Angle! I wish you the very best in Live." He finally said in the most sexy voice I have ever heard.
"Thank you" I blattered.
" you deserve every good thing in the world " he added, then continued to lean forward to me, " every since I set my eyes on you Alvita, I just cant get my mind off you, I know this might sound cheesy but I'm lost without you" He said with all confidence
"But you barely even know me" I replied
"But I know you have a good heart, a solid mind and a perfect body,I might not be up to your standards but Alvita I need you in my life, I hope you can think about this and be my girl. please be mine Alvita Brown" He said like he has been rehearsing this.
"We can talk about this later Alex, alot if people are watching. lets enjoy the party for now" I said as that was the only reply I could give.
We went on to cut the cake, are a bit, danced and daced till my legs started crying. It was already 1am when I decided to go home to rest. I was too tired to even continue. I disappeared without telling anyone, even Olivia.
Getting home was a great relief, Could get Alex of my mind, He was all i could think off, all his words and the passion that came with it. I could still perceive his sent. Took off my clothes, entered my bathroom to take a warm bath with my amazing Magicdrop skincare products with really helped me feel refreshed.
Putting on my pajamas as I hear my phone beep
"I am at your door step, I need an answer please!!!!!"
A text from Alex got me on my feet, took me 2 seconds to get to the door. I saw him, still dressed as he was few hours ago.
He grabbed my wrist without even saying a word, I was speechless too.
"Where the fuck are you taking me too" I said as i finally found my voice
He still didnt say anything.
We go to the hill very close to my house, went up the hill and took a sit.
"The view up here is amazing" he said as we sat.
"So what are we doing here" I asked, I need my beauty sleep, I have work in the morning
"I need you to accept me right now Alvita, I need you in my life, please be mine please, I really cant stop my feelings for you. I want you to be mine" He said boldly
My heart stopped. I stood motionless for a minute, I could barely believe it. It was a nervous moment for Alex too as I had not given much of a response. He left me standing there and waited patiently. I was still in shock. After a few minutes, I went and sat with him. The rest of the night was an extraordinary blur of good talks.
it was still a difficult moment. But, of course, it was not long before he said again,
"Alvita, whats your response?"
I wasn't sure how he would react to my response. I dearly hoped he still has feelings for me in the future
Is nervous! How would it work? Would it be the same? Would he still feel the same about me?But the instant I signed on, it felt right, natural even, but I did what I had to. And I was still head over for heels for this boy. It was all the confirmation I needed. I mustered up all the courage I could, and said YES to him. He was shocked, surprised and excited.. He rushed in a big hug and an unexpected passionate kiss. It felt right, perfect even, Alexander Kins is my boyfriend. I have a boyfriend. Mum is so going to ask for details, I'm not telling her till further notice, Olivia would be proud of me, loads of thoughts in my head filled with excitement.
"I love you so much Alvita!!!!" He screamed out.
At that moment I knew I made the right choice..
we spent almost an 30 minutes in awkward silence until I broke the silence.
" We need to head home, we have work in the morning" I said trying to figure out what time it is
"It's 3:15". He said like he read my mind
The walk home took forever but it was a lovely walk home, with our hands entangled, It felt like it wasn't gonna end until I spot my huge mansion. It was very late and we were near my house which was about 50 minutes to a public transportation. I invited him to stay for the night so that he wouldn't have to take the train and walk to his apartment alone so late at night.
Rather than asking him to stay the night, I told him that he was welcome to stay on my couch. He ended up staying and there was no awkwardness or any talk of sex. The rest of the night was cold and exciting.
I sent a quick message to Olivia about everything that happened, waiting few minutes for a reply buy i got non. plugged my phone to charge as I dozed off into a deep sleep.
Beep! Beep!! Beep!!!
My alarm went of so loud. A very annoying sound, I was too lazy to even open my eyes, but a knock on my door quickly pulled me off my bed. My prince charming walked in, Already dressed up.
In shock I asked " HOW!"
"I have a change of clothes in my truck" He said as he unleashed the cutes smile I have ever seen.
He is so handsome, I couldn't stop staring, my dashing dude.
He interrupted my thoughts. " Your mum is expecting you". He said
"what?" omg!! I totally forgot about mu parents
I got to the kitchen after dressing up, to see my mum and dad having breakfast
I will be heading to work now dear parents, I will appreciate it if you dont talk about Alex, He is my boyfriend.
"Nice to meet you both" I head Alex say from behind.
I held him by his wrist and pulled him out the door to the garage.
