ANGELINA

"So am I leaving today, Prince Alywin?" Angie asked as the two took a stroll in the castle gardens.

"Looks like it..." Alywin replied, a hint of sadness in his voice.

"I'm gonna miss you," Angelina said, stopping to sit on their favorite bench under the cherry blossom trees. Alywin did the same.

"I promise you, this won't be the last time I see you." Prince Alywin promised, concluding the sentence with a wink.

Angie giggled, "I'm sure."

Alywin took hold of her hand, "I've enjoyed these past days with you, Lady Aria."

"So have I, Prince Alywin." She replied dreamily, staring into his beautiful eyes.

Alywin stared into hers, "I love thee, Lady Aria."

She stepped back in surprise. That was fast.

"Where I come from you usually don't say that that early..."

He looked down embarrassed. "Oh... Where are you from anyway?"

"It's sorta complicated," Angie replied.

"Try me."

"It's not that simple, just telling you."

"Oh, okay. I guess you can tell me when you're... ready."

"It kills me that I'm not telling you. But, I'm afraid you won't like me anymore. You will think I'm crazy."

"Impossible, Lady Aria. Nothing can tear us apart."

Don't you think of telling him, Angelina! Juniper yelled.

"I-It isn't that simple, Prince," Angie replied.

The Prince went silent. Angelina took a deep breath.

"I'm in a coma, I don't expect you to know what that is, though," Angelina replied sadly.

"I do not understand, what is it?" Alywin asked.

"It's like sleeping, but for a very long time."

"So like dying?"

"Not exactly." She replied. "I live in a completely different world. There's no castles, kings, queens, princes, princesses, even thrones and crowns."

"Then who's in charge?"

"Someone who's called a president."

"I've never heard that word."

"That's because it's only a thing where I live."

"What else does your home have?" Alywin asked, clearly interested.

"Electricity and electronic devices, vehicles, gas, freedom..."

"Never heard any of those words. Well, except for freedom. Your home, it is... different from mine." Alywin said.

"I'm surprised you don't think I'm insane." Angelina sighed happily.

"I will never! Never in a million years." Alywin protested.

"In my world, my name is Angelina, Angelina Barrings. I haven't said those words in so long..." Angie said, looking down at the ground.

"What a beautiful name." Alywin complimented.

"Angelina, It's really you." A voice said followed by a chuckle.

"Brother? You are from Aria's world?" Alywin asked his adopted brother, Severin.

"Yep. In fact I know... knew Angelina." Severin replied.

"Who are you?" Angie asked curiously.

"Oh ya know, the guy you stopped hanging out with, the guy that gave you a bloody nose on the first day. Remember me?" Severin asked, his eyes mad, and his eyebrows raised.

"Sabastian? No way... I can't believe it's you..." Angelina replied, her eyes as big as saucers.

"Well, I'm here, so believe it." Sabastian replied coldly.

"I don't know what just happened..." Prince Alywin stated.

"I never stopped hanging out with you, Sabastian... The only time I have is when those bullies put me in a coma, for what, a week so far?" Angelina cried.

"You were always hanging out with Victor! Remember when me, you, and Victor were riding home from getting ice cream? Remember?" Sabastian asked madly.

"You went home! You told us you were needed for dinner or something!" Angelina replied.

"Ya! Because I felt left out!" Sabastian yelled.

"You're jealous, aren't you?' Angelina stated, looking into Sabastian's eyes.

Sabastian was quiet.

"Why are you like this? Where's the Sabastian I had a crush on for like a year? Where's the Sabastian that refused to go to class when you gave me a bloody nose? Where is he? I want that Sabastian back..." Angelina cried, a hint of attitude in her voice and tears streaming down her face.

"He's gone." He replied, storming out of the garden, back into the castle.

Then, right as Sabastian left, Victor came into the gardens over to Angie and Alywin.

"Wow," Alywin replied, astonished.

"Aria? What's wrong?" Victor asked, kneeling on both of his knees in front of Angelina.

"Severin... He is... Sabastian..." Angie replied sadly.

"I know."

"He's different." Angelina sighed.

Victor glanced at Alywin, "Does he know about, you know?"

"Y-yeah, I told him everything. You can call me Angie or Angelina around him now." Angelina replied, wiping tears from her face. "Alywin, this is Victor. He's my best friend in my world."

"I see..." Alywin replied.

"Best friend?" Victor asked, astonished.

"Well, good friend," She restated."Is it already night in Walton City?"

"No..."

"Shouldn't you be in school, I thought you were going back."

"I was at school."

"Was?"

"I'm pretty sure I'm at the hospital..." Victor replied hesitantly.

"Why? What happened?" Angie asked startledly.

"I kinda collapsed in the halls, and I guess passed out."

"Victor! Why'd you collapse?" Angelina cried.

"I don't know... Everything got blurry and I felt dizzy and I just passed out..." Victor stated.

"Oh no, please no. I really hope you aren't in a coma too..." Angelina replied, genuinely scared.

"It's unlikely." Victor told her.

"Wow, I am so confused right now..." Prince Alywin said.

"I'd get used to it," Angelina said, concluding it with a chuckle.

"Oh Angelina! Your special." Alywin laughed, making Victor cringe.

"Goodbye, Alywin." Angelina said as her and her 'family' stood in front of the castle, preparing to go back to the bakery.

"I will visit, I promise." Prince Alywin replied, taking hold of her hand.

"It isn't like this is the last time you guys are going to see each other." Victor butted in.

"Go away, Victor."Angelina replied.

"Any day," Victor laughed.

"Don't forget me." Alywin replied.

"Okay, we are getting really dramatic." Angie laughed.

"But, what if this is the last time I see you? What if you go back to your world?"

"I understand where you're coming from, Prince Alywin."

"Good." Alywin replied.

"Aria! It's time to leave!" Sarah called.

"One second!" Angelina called back. "Goodbye, Prince Alywin. I hope this isn't the last time."

"I love you, Lady Angelina. Goodbye." Alywin said.

Angelina stepped away and walked away to the carriage, looking back once. The butler took Angie's hand and helped her into the carriage. Then, they drove away, back to the village.

"Aria? Do you know where Victor went?" Chadrick called from the bakery's front.

"He probably won't be back for a few hours or so," Angelina replied as she came into the bakery's front with two loafs of bread. "I wouldn't get worried if he didn't come back in more than three hours."

Angie gave the two loaves of bread to a middle-aged woman and the woman gave Angelina five coins. Angie told her to have a good day then went back to the kitchen to grab the scone the town's doctor ordered.

"Slow down you could drop that scone." Sarah warned.

"Yes, Sarah, sorry." Angelina called, already giving the scone to the doctor.

"Have a nice day, Doc!" Angelina said with a smile.

"You too, dear!" The doctor answered, giving Angie the money, and then walking out.

"It's been a busy day, huh?" Marick laughed, watching Angie about slip.

"Yep! I've been working all day." Angie answered, taking a deep breath.

"You need a break." Marick replied simply.

"I had one, remember I stayed at the castle, duh." Angelina laughed.

"You can hardly call that a break," Marick laughed. "I mean being perfect, wearing those dresses, not eating sloppily."

"You got a point there." Angie laughed. "Okay, I seriously need to get back to work. See you later."

"Bye." Marick called as he walked out of the bakery.

Angelina rushed back into the kitchen to grab a loaf of bread for another customer.

"Ok, seriously, slow down." Sarah laughed.

"Sorry again." Angelina apologized.

"Stop saying sorry, sweetie. It gets you nowhere." Chadrick sighed.

"Yes, sir." Angelina said. "I really need to get this bread to a customer."

Then, Angelina rushed out of the kitchen and delivered the fresh baked bread to its customer.

"Thank you, kind lady." The customer thanked.

"Anyday!" Angelina replied cheerfully, remembering the woman from somewhere.

"Do I know you?" The woman asked.

"I don't know. I will admit you look familiar." Angie replied, studying the woman's face, thinking she was another person from back in Walton.

"My name is Blythe, will that help?" The woman said.

"Yes! I remember you! My name is Angelina!" Angelina replied cheerfully.

"Oh, yes, Angelina! The lost girl going to the village!" Blythe remembered.

"That's me. I, um, have a message to you from a good friend of mine. It's from your mother, Akari." Angelina told her, watching Blythe's face grow sad and hopeful at the same time.

"What is it?" Blythe asked hesitantly.

"She told my friend to tell you hi and that she loves you dearly from the bottom of her heart." Angelina told her sadly, although she was glad she could deliver the message so early.

"Thank you, Angelina. You must go back to work, I do not wanna keep you away from your hard work, I insist." Blythe insisted, her eyes gathering tears, threatening to spill on her beautiful face.

"Have a good day, Miss Blythe." Angelina answered, watching her until she didn't see her down the street.

The whole bakery front had no customers for Angelina to tend to. Angelina closed her eyes and breathed in deeply. Angie couldn't imagine how it would feel if she received a message from a very close relative that she hadn't seen in years. She should've been more settle and confronting than she was. Why was she even sent here? Why her? She was just an ordinary girl, thirteen years of age, stuck in a different world. Angelina couldn't help but feel bad for her mom. Her family was probably going through a lot right now. She missed her annoying sisters. In fact she missed everyone, she missed the smell of her house and the smell of the sand the ocean let off. Angelina opened her eyes. Visually smelling her new home. It smelled like fresh bread. She set her hand on the icy cold counter.

What has my life become? Angelina thought sadly.

Come on, Angie! Don't give up! You're here for a reason! Juniper comforted Angelina.

Oh really? Then why am I here? Why am I stuck here away from my family!

I can't tell you. You have to figure it out. Juniper said hesitantly.

Well, I can't figure it out! It's all I've been thinking about since I got here! Angelina thought angrily.

Calm down. Juniper replied.

Easier said than done. Angelina thought sadly.

Angelina, YOU are here for a REASON. Why else would the Gods' put you on this dimension? If you weren't special, they wouldn't have supplied you with me. Am I right? Juniper convinced her.

"I guess you are right." Angelina sighed out loud.

I know I am, Juniper laughed.

Whatever, you weirdo. Angelina laughed.
