ANGELINA

"Gwen, go help Autumn with her job, Autumn is the one stacking logs." Shawn told Gwen.

Victor and Angelina watched as she walked away from them and to Autumn. Shawn coughed, clearing his throat.

"Angelina, Victor, since you missed training, we will be training until dinner."

"Until dinner? That's in, like, eight hours." Angelina protested mentally.

Sorry, Angie, but Shawn is the boss. Juniper replied.

He shouldn't be! He's my age! Angie thought.

Like a few years older actually.

"Come on," Shawn growled.

They followed him to the spot where they held training. He instructed them to grab a sword, they obeyed. Victor was up first. Angelina watched as Victor swung his sword at Shawn's sword with immense force. Shawn swung his and knocked Victor's sword out of his hand. It flew towards Angelina, making her yell. Her body wouldn't let her scramble away. The sword only hit the ground a foot away from her.

Victor flung around to make sure Angelina was okay. Shawn took that as a chance and used Oliver's trick, kicking the back of his knees, making him melt to the ground. Victor tried to reach for his sword but Shawn stopped him by stepping on Victor.

"Hey! Get off me!" Victor struggled to say underneath Shawn's boot.

"Maybe you should get stronger and get up!" Shawn bellowed, not letting Victor go.

"It's not my fault I'm a good friend! I was making sure the sword didn't take out Angie!" Victor growled, turning around onto his back, grabbing Shawn's shoe and shoving it up with both hands.

Shawn flew backward, not falling down, while Victor scrambled to his feet. He brushed all of the dirt off his tunic, glaring into Shawn's angry eyes.

"You're gonna get it!" Shawn yelled.

Angelina couldn't take it anymore, she knew that they were about to fight, "Stop! Both of you!"

"Shut up!" Victor continued to glare at Shawn, both in a deadlock stare.

Victor's reply surprised her. He had never snapped at her before. She knew he was just angry, but it still made her feel awful. Angelina's eyes were as big as saucers and her eyebrows arched in a 'U' and her mouth was slightly opened, she was in shock. Vic realized what he had said and turned around. Angelina was looking at the ground, her arms dangling.

"I'll leave you be." Angelina said quietly then ran off into the distance.

She heard Shawn say, "Ha! Look what you did," after Angelina took off running. Then, heard Victor reply with, "Shut up," and then followed by a growl from Shawn. Angelina looked back as she now walked and saw Victor shove Shawn to the ground. That was when Angelina stopped watching, starting to run again.

* * * * *

Angie was in her tent when she heard everyone yelling "stop." Shawn and Victor had probably thrown some punches and the others noticed. Angie didn't want to stop them, they could do what they wanted, she didn't want to get in their way. She heard more yelling, louder now. Then, she heard swords clashing together. Now, Angelina thought that there were invaders. She jumped up quickly and grabbed her real sword, which lay beside her bed, in case of an attack. Angie slipped out of her tent, checking her surroundings. No one was in sight but she still heard a battle. She went to one of the edges of the mountain and looked out at the field below. It was a terrible sight. She stared in horror at the sight of the invaders. She spotted Victor fighting a heavy guy. Angelina ran down, screaming Victor's name. She was welcomed by a girl with a pixie cut from the invader's side. They fought. The girl's eyes were filled with anger and rage. Angelina swung her sword at her with enough force to knock her sword from her hand, but it didn't. The girl clung onto her sword, trying to hit Angie's arm and legs, failing because Angelina kept reflecting it and dodging it. At that point Angelina knew she had to actually hurt her not just fend her off by exchanging hits, it wasn't practice anymore.

Angie breathed in deeply and swung as hard as she could, closing her eyes. She hit the girl on top of the head with the flat side of her sword, knocking her out. Angelina opened her eyes, seeing her attacker's limp body on the ground, no injuries. She exhaled in relief, glad she did not kill the girl, and scanned the battlefield for any familiar people. She spotted Oliver struggling to fight a boy probably a year or two older than them. Angie ran over to help him as fast as she could because it seemed he was the only one struggling.

Oli seemed happy to see her and grinned, knowing he was gonna win the fight against his attacker with Angelina helping him. They fought together but when Oliver started getting a handle Angelina turned her head and watched one of the invaders, a boy, looking suspicious and running up into their camp. Angelina ran to stop the person from destroying the camp or whatever they were doing. When she finally caught up to the figure they were by the tents, the person hadn't noticed Angie yet. Then, the person turned around and saw Angelina trailing behind them, sword in hand. Shivers ran through her as he stared at her with the creepiest smile imaginable.

"Ready to fight?" He said in a sort of familiar voice, now that she thought about it, he looked familiar too.

"Do I know you?" Angelina asked, getting her sword ready just in case he attacked her.

"You would if you remembered me." He snarled.

"Sorry, but I don't." Angelina answered, quite confused.

"That's what I assumed. I bet I could tell you who you are." He said smugly.

"Oh really, and who might I be?" Angelina asked.

"Angelina Barrings."

"Let me guess, you saw me on the news."

"Sure. It really is sad you don't know who I am. In fact I could immediately tell it was you first glance."

"Please refresh my memory."

He scoffed, "Sabastian."

She stared at him. This invader standing in front of her was her old crush. Her closest friend when they were in third and second grade. Then, Sabastian ditched her for the older kids, the popular ones. Yet, she still liked him until she found out who he was truly only about a month or so ago.

"Surprised?" He laughed.

"A little." Angelina admitted.

"So, Angie, how about a fight?" Sabastian growled.

"I'm up for it," She laughed.

Sabastian took the first swing, then Angie took the next, trying to knock his sword from his hand, a little trick she picked up. Sabastian had a lot of force in his swings, almost enough to knock her down, but she strengthened her core and kept her ground. She could tell Sabastian wasn't too happy with her still. It wasn't her fault he changed. Angelina heard a scream from down in the battle field. It was enough to make her look back. She glanced back and when she saw nothing she quickly turned her head back towards Sabastian. But, it was too late, he had got a hold of her and pushed her with a ton of force onto the ground. The fall took her breath away, her sword was two feet away from where she'd landed. Sabastian stepped closer to her, sword in hand. Angelina tried to get back up, but he thrust her back down with his boot. Angelina stared at Sabastian in horror, this was where it would end. Sabastian had his sword ready, ready to kill her slowly and painfully for what he said she did to him. True, she had ditched him once her and Victor became friends, but she was pretty sure that was all, plus it was good for her, Sabastian had become a coldhearted snake. Sabastian stood over her.

"I hate to do this, Angie," He smiled sickly. "Lying, I'm gonna love this."

"Sabastian, we can do a peace treaty, I'll call off my troop and you call off yours," Angelina begged.

"It's too late."
