A Tour

As expected, even with a decent influx of new students, the school was still able to accurately record and write down information just fine as there were no students with any problems within those ten minutes that came up to the professor.

David had finished a few minutes ago, and looked around with his book out, 'For a kingdom that talks about equality, it sure doesn't have any talented beastmen here except for me...'

The bell that was on the Gluri's desk suddenly vibrated and shook as it was ringing.

Placing the stack of papers vertically, he got the student's attention only when he coughed while he placed his hands over the bell, "Ahem, as I said, you don't need to go anywhere as you are part of the recommended class. So unless you're not here due to sickness, injury, or something like that, you'll never be late."

'That's... quite a... perk?' David thought.

"Now, since today is the first day, as it says in your handbook, today is a half-day! Plus, we don't need that much time for everything to be in order to have a tour of the school. Now, come to the podium everyone." Gluri grabbed a transparent orb and placed it on the desk in front of him.

*Step. Step. Step. Step.*

Seeing that all of the students have surrounded the desk, he placed his hands above the orb, making it light up, "Alright, everyone pour some mana into the orb. We do this for some events like the tour as it would be too crowded if we tried to look at all the buildings in person." he explained.

'Cool.' everyone else thought.

'Fair reason, cool too.' David closed his eyes and focused on a small part of his mana, turned it into a stable rope, and placed it into the orb.

He felt something leave him while also entering something at the same time. It was honestly quite a headache as this time, only the mind was teleported, making everyone feel slightly weird.

Gluri had also known this fact, so he kept everything dark so everyone could get used to the feeling first before they would open their eyes.

A while later, he sensed that everyone was here and had them open their eyes.

Following his order, everyone opened their eyes to see a bird's eye view of the academy, giving them an even better sense of how big the campus actually is.

"Alright, everyone should have gotten used to it right?" Gluri asked.

"Yes." everyone curtly answered in unison.

"Good, let's start the tour!" Gluri's body which was in front of them faded into nothingness.

Everyone's vision, who was originally above the school, suddenly started spinning, and before they knew it, they were looking at a building that said [Library].

"There's no need for a bird's view since all the buildings are located in your handbook, but... let's go on the inside!" outside, Gluri made a closing hand gesture to zoom into the library.

With the library first, they went through stuff like the different floors as some books were classified to some extent. They had also explored a good part of the library, mainly so the students would only need minimal explanation when they do enter the library.

From there on, they went to different buildings like the teacher's offices, temple, dorms, cafeteria, etc.

In summary...

The students were dragged around the entirety of the campus, with small descriptions of each section.

For all of the buildings/sections referenced, will be referenced by the entrance of the academy. The left, top, and right sections of the school each take up 30% of the total space in the campus.

For example, to the left of the campus, that space is basically a shopping district, large auction houses, cafeteria/restaurants, school shops, entertainment stores, blacksmiths, where most of the buying and selling takes place.

For the upper part of the campus, that's where the actual academy is, the offices, dorms, headmaster's office, and others that are related to schools are usually here.

For the right part of the campus, it's where all of the miscellaneous things happen. Although the stuff like the blacksmiths and stuff is over there as well, this is the part of the campus where experiments, private tutoring, stuff like that happen.

For the other 10% of the school, that's just for the entrance, some roads, lights and other stuff like that placed around the entire school to keep it... lively?

By the time they had gone over a good portion of the school, everyone in the classroom was brought back by the ringing of the bell, signaling that the half-day was over.

David held his head like the other students who were slightly shaking and tilting a bit, getting used to being back a real body again.

"Alright, the tour's over. Oh! Almost forgot, from your parent's or other backer's requests, here are your dorm room keys." Gluri passed the cards onto everyone as they went back to their seats to grab their bags before leaving.

Leaving the classroom, heading for the dorms, David looked at his card.

"Psst. Hey, we're in the same room together!" Bennett nudged him.

"Yes, I know. We're brothers, it's natural for mother and father to put us together, even if they want the younger brother to look over the older one." he sharply jabbed.

Clenching his heart in pain, he groaned, "Ugh... come on, no need to rub that in."

The two were just like commoners, fitting right into the atmosphere around the school as all of the first-year students were released at the same time, exploring the school for themselves even if they did just take a multi-hour long tour of the academy.

"Come on, let's get our dorm room set up so we can go get some lunch." David reminded, trying to motivate Bennett.

"Shoot! You're right, I haven't tried any of the food here, let's hurry then!" he grabbed David's hand and basically dragged him to the dorms.
