Homeroom

"Hello, students. Welcome to homeroom."

All of the students had stood up, bowed, and greeted, "Hello, professor."

With the greeting out of the way, David quickly looked around without turning his head, observing his surroundings.

The classroom was actually quite like what you would see in anime, where there was a teacher at the front with a giant blackboard and the students sat in those rows of connected tables where the only separation was the fact that there were stairs for the students to walk down.

For the smaller details, the windows were at the left of the classroom. The connected tables all had a small space where the students could place their satchels/bag and distribute their materials onto. For the lights, they were naturally like the flat ceiling lights powered by mana crystals. The decorations were quite plain, the teacher's desk had a potted plant next to it, with some papers, a globe, writing utensils. There were also some other kinds of potted plants which seemed to release some kind of... calming scent... like lavender? Last but not least, a clock and a separate board, seemingly for other things such as events, homework due dates, etc.

By the time David had mostly memorized everything, everyone had already sat back down in their seats, waiting for the teacher to do whatever was planned for today.

"My name is Gluri Foras, you may just call me Mr. Foras or professor, either is fine. I will be your homeroom teacher for this year."

"Now, onto the introductions, may the first row start with their introductions first? You don't need to say too much, your name, rank, likes, etc." Gluri requested.

(A/N: Don't worry, you'll know which characters are somewhat important and those that aren't. I'm not going to name all the characters.)

The first person stood up, "My name is Hana Li, I'm a commoner! I like baking and dislike violence." she cheerfully said. Hana seems to be one of those naive sheltered village girls, though she was quite beautiful with her green sparkling eyes and braided brown hair. She wasn't too tall or short, only around 5'6, she also had a decent figure for her age, not too much or too small, just enough to look mature for her age.

"My name is Kyle Hori, commoner, I don't really have likes or dislikes." he indifferently said. He wasn't really that unique in terms of appearance, nor tall, in fact, he was quite average except for his calm and mature temperament.

"I'm Feil Nenao, 3rd prince of the royal family." The man was... quite handsome to say in the least, damn those good genes. He had broad shoulders, a nice built yet lean chest/abs, long legs, short green crop top hair and eyes, and a tall figure, standing at 5'8. His green eyes showed a tint of arrogance as he bowed, normal for a prince.

'Not bad...' David commented, looking at the radiant aura being released from the prince.

After that, most of the other students didn't really interest him as they didn't have any good titles like [Genius] in anything, nor did they release any kind of special aura. They were most likely the 'fodder' of the prestigious school you would see in some anime.

"Alright, the last row, let's start with you." Gluri pointed at Bennett.

"Ah? Y-yes! My name is Bennet Vale, second son of the Vale household, I like training and dislike sweet foods." his attitude did change for the better... until he ruined his image with the stutter, but everything else was great!

Standing up, David bowed like the other students, "My name is David Vale, third adopted son of the Vale household, I also like training and trying out new things, as for dislikes... insects..." he sat back down, seeing Bennett's swerving eyes, he clenched his fists to make his face pale.

'Oh? So that's how the third young master of the Vale's...' Feil looked behind him, locking eyes with David for a split second without feeling any pressure from him.

"I'm... Elizebeth Nenao, 4th princess of the royal family." a shy voice came out after David's introduction was over. She was way different than her... half-brother? She had beautiful silk white hair that reached down to her waist with blue eyes that could enchant anyone that looked at her long enough, as though they should protect her. With her personality at first glance, the features of her delicate face with those soft parted lips, furrowed brows, shining skin, all had made her enchanting in a... more forbidden way.

Seeing her sit back down, the last person stood up, "My name is Sam, commoner... that's all."

'Looks like it's a nobility majority...' David saw how there were only 3 commoners within the 15 students with a recommended student status.

'Since he's also recommended with that kind of status, he must have some sort of backer as strong if not stronger than some nobles...' after all, you can't get into such a school nearly scott free unless a credible and strong person is able to give you such permissions.

"Mn, thank you, everyone. Seems like everyone's here." Gluri placed a small stack of books in front of his desks before handing them out to all of the students.

"Although this is a prestigious school, we don't really know if you've actually read or heard about the things we do here, which is why we made the student handbooks, supposedly made individually for you." he explained.

'I see...' David looked at the handbook in his hand.

"Now that everyone has their handbook, let's begin again. I will not only be your homeroom teacher but also your teacher for most of your other courses unless there are times where the other teachers more experienced than me in one class wants to do a lecture. Any questions?" Gluri asked.

Elizebeth raised her hand after a slight moment of hesitation.

"Yes, Elizebeth?" he smiled, encouraging her to continue.

"For... what you said about 'most of out classes', does that also mean our physical and magic classes?" she asked with slight anxiousness.

"For the most part, yes. But. As this academy does function differently than other schools, there will be some other professors here from time to time." he answered.

"Understood, professor." she replied.

"Mn. Any other questions?" he looked around the room for any hands.

"Ok, for the remainder of homeroom, which is about 10 minutes. Please look over your student handbook for any other information you will need and or if some information about you is wrong." he requested, sitting in his teacher's office chair.
