Mysterious Kid + Ghost Incident(Pt 1)

Tuesday

It was Tuesday morning when I saw another ghost incident.

Flashback

The previous ghost incident had been yesterday when it took over a green-clad Taijutsu student named Metal Lee but I won't go deep into detail but he became possessed and nearly fucked my shit up. But thankfully I told Shikadai about this ghost surrounding him which was why Metal Lee was so strong and angry and we came up with a plan. That being me, Shikadai and Inojin cornering him and knocking him out, after that the ghost disappeared, then we all became more cautious of this ghost from here to today.

Anyways when I woke up I applied my Henge, changed into my white shirt with a blue hoodie while wearing black shorts with white stripes with my comfy pink slippers. Once that was done, I headed down towards the kitchen and secretly grabbed a bottle of ketchup hid it in my shirt then left my house after saying goodbye to my mom and Himawari.

As I was walking towards my school I kept thinking about the Karma mark on my palm. 'If this karma mark is supposed to give me strength then how do I activate it, I remember during the night of the transformation that some long blue tattoos lines spread across my arm to my head.' When I looked up I could see Shikadai and Inojin waiting for me in the middle of the street.

Running towards them I greeted them, " Hey guys how's it going guys"

"It's going good" replied Shikadai

"Same here" followed Inojin.

"Anyways let's get to the academy" I bellowed as I walked in front of them with the following closely behind. As we were heading our way towards the academy. On our way, we heard an explosion and then we headed towards the explosion. Once we arrived towards the explosion we could see this overweight teenage boy using fire jutsu's and shouting how he deserves to be a genin. Meanwhile, my Jougan activated by itself showing me a dark ghost surrounding the kid. Telling Shikadai and Inojin about the ghost I see, they quickly develop a plan to corner the kid and knock him out. Once we finished discussing our plan, we turned and find that the kid was running into an alleyway 'Thanks for making this easy'. As we followed the kid we saw a strange sight.

We could see the possessed kid on the ground while another kid was on top of him. Then I saw the ghost disappear and my Jougan deactivated and signaling my friends that the ghost was gone. We were still in our defensive stances, unsure who this kid is.

"Don't worry I took care of the problem plus I won't fight you" he said as he turned around. As I could see this kid fully now I noticed some weird attributes of him. Some being that he has pale skin and bright golden eyes and his tousled white- blue hair everything else about him seems normal to me. He seemed to be wearing a loose-fitting two-toned light and dark blue kimono shirt with billowing overlong sleeves with a khaki style belt in the middle of his kimono shirt. Looking downward I could notice him wearing navy pants with calf-length shinobi sandals along with a pair of fingerless gloves on him. While we were studying him he was studying us as well. "So your Boruto I've heard about," he claimed while smiling.

"What the, how do you know my name, what do you want," I asked getting ready for anything.

"Don't worry Boruto I'm not your enemy, but I have a feeling that we'll be seeing each other soon" he claims before hopping towards the roof before disappearing from our sight.

"Huh, who was that guy," I asked Inojin and Shikadai and in response, they shook their heads just as lost as I am. Well, with that guy gone we all returned to our normal path towards the academy.

At the classroom

Once we arrived at the academy and entered our classrooms we all took our seats and wondered who that guy was. While looking at Shikadai, asking him what does he mean that we'll see each other soon and he shrugged his shoulder and claimed that he doesn't know. As soon as Shino sensei arrived at class he claimed that we have a new student. We all had mixed reactions on how the new kid was gonna be. Some girls hope it was a handsome kid, while the boys thought it'll be a cool kid, then there's me who hopes this new kid was quiet and ignores me like I try to ignore everyone else.

Turns out that we were all wrong, apart from the girls, about this new kid because apparently, he was the same kid from the early ghost incident. 'What the fuck is going on here' I nearly shouted out loud. Now I know why he said that we'll see each other soon before he left the alleyway.

Once Shino sensei assigned him a seat three rows behind me, I could feel his gaze on the back of my head which freaked me out. Deep down I could tell this would be a long day for me.

Lunchtime, outside area

When lunch came around I snuck off from my friends and headed outside near the front gates of the academy. I was just about to pull out my ketchup bottle I snuck under my shirt until "Hello there Boruto"

I turned around and it was the new mysterious kid that I keep running into. Quickly putting my ketchup bottle away, I turned to face him when I looked behind me and could see my group of friends walking towards us. 'Damn, can't I take a break for once' I thought when I could see Denki run ahead of the group to greet me while my friends followed suit.

"Hey Boruto, what are you doing here and who's that. Oh, the wait is that the new kid" Denki questioned.

"Oh, I just got bored and decided to hang out here, but the new kid is- ugh, what's your name," I asked the blue-haired kid behind me.

"My name is Mitsuki" replied Mitsuki.

"Ok, Mitsuki over on the right is Shikadai, next to him is Inojin, the one that dresses like a gay dude is Iwabe," I said while Iwabe had an annoying smirk.

"Ok the one wearing all green is Metal Lee and the one whit the glasses is Denki. And I guess welcome to our ragtag group of being dumbasses" I claimed barely holding in my laughter while everyone I mentioned wanted to jump me.

"So what's your story Mits-" I was cut off as we heard an explosion and could see smoke rising in the sky near the gates and we all left to investigate. Once we arrived at where the smoke was we could see a construction area being destroyed left and right by a super jacked construction worker. As everyone went to cover, I took a look at him and my vision darkens and I knew it was my Jougan and I could see a ghost surrounding him, with that revelation I finally took cover from the worker.

As I took cover next to a pillar, the next thing I noticed was that Mitsuki was next to me as well. Looking at him and him looking at me he asks "You can sense the ghost can you". I looked at him in shock as he explains that he can sense when something is possessing a person. I nodded in understanding as I tried to think of a plan and discussing it with my friends.

Once we formed a plan, which involved us surrounding the worker and overpowers him, we all jumped out and tried to rush at the worker. We kept trying to surround him, but the worker kept nearly hitting us with steel rails. That was until I saw an opening and took it, while the worker set his sights on Iwabe his back was facing me. Summoning four shadow clones, we all rushed the worker and stuck him all over his body, knocking him down to one knee. Finally upon seeing their opening Iwabe, Metal, Inojin, and Shikadai all came in and quickly punched the worker in the head multiple times knocking him out. 'Hope we didn't kill him' I thought as I could see the ghost vanishing plus my Jougan deactivating as well.

Once everything settled down and the worker was conscious and breathing we all quickly left towards our academy. After entering our class to continue our day I could still feel Mitsuki's gaze from behind my head. *sigh* 'Today was a long day huh' I thought as I waited for Shino sensei to return to lecture.

Uzumaki Household 4:00 p.m.

Finally, after hours of boring studies at school, I quickly rushed out to my house to take a rest. Upon arriving at my house I greeted my family and went to my room and locked my door while dispersing my Henge as usual. Once I laid down on my bed intending to fall asleep I could not stop thinking about Mitsuki and how he can sense the ghost around people. Before falling asleep I took out my ketchup bottle and took a few swigs before closing the cap and tuned in for bed. I couldn't do anything anymore as I soon fell into the comforts of unconsciousness.

Nighttime in a nearby forest.

Standing on top of a tree stood the mysterious kid no one knows. They don't know who he is or where he's from. And on top of his shoulder is a pale-colored snake. *Hiss* "Yes, he truly is the 'sun'" claimed Mitsuki. *Hiss**Hiss* "Yes I will still keep watch of him. *Hiss* Okay then goodbye" Mitsuki replied when the snake disappeared from his shoulder into his kimono shirt. 'Boruto, you are my 'sun'' Mitsuki thought as he smiled, wishing to fulfill his promise he made to himself towards Boruto. As Mitsuki was leaving a masked figure who was hiding in the shadows observing him quickly left the area, planning on what the next step should be.
