What Luck (Pt.2)

Looking up, I expected to see Sarada standing there... but life had different plans.

"No, no please this can't be" I sobbed as I could see Ashimaru standing up and smiling. His sword lodged between Sarada's head, blood pouring on the ground, her face and on the sword. He grabbed Sarada's head and threw her at my feet, already dead from the sword.

I looked at her corpse and my legs gave out as I was on my knees in front of her. "No, No, NO" I yelled as I was hugging Sarada, hoping to receive any sign of life but was in vain. Looking at Mitsuki, and him looking at me we both knew what to do. Getting up we both charged at Ashimaru, wanting to avenge our fallen teammate.

I reached Ashimaru first and decided to launch my Kunai to take out his eyes. Parrying the Kunai's, he couldn't see Mitsuki from behind. With an opening Mitsuki used his Multiple Shadow Snakes and attacked from behind him, biting him and strangling him. Getting distracted I punched Ashimaru in the stomach before hitting his throat, nearly breaking the skin and ripping out his windpipe.

Having enough, Ashimaru kicked me far away from the fight and finally got free from Mitsuki's hold and sliced his snakes in half. Mitsuki grunted in pain from losing his snake hands couldn't concentrate on Ashimaru. Which was the last mistake he knew as Ashimaru swung his sword, decapitating Mitsuki.

I could only look in horror as Mitsuki's head fell on the ground and his body following after. I finally lost the focus of the body as Ashimaru began to laugh, and comment on how we were weak. Struggling to stand from exhaustion, I slowly walked to Ashimaru.

Seeing red, I still began walking up to Ashimaru. Thinking about the good times of our friends, Sarada especially. What will they think of when they get the news that Sarada and Mitsuki died on duty.

I lost my focus on these thoughts as I heard an explosion from behind me. Looking back I could see a huge fireball from the explosion. 'Hey, that's where Konohamaru sensei is' I thought as I already knew the worst has happened over there.

Having nothing left to lose other than my life I released my Henge. Ashimaru stepped back in shock and horror of my form.

"Damn, first I lose my brother now I have to fight a monster" he commented getting ready to fight.

Hearing him say that made me mad to the core. Having enough of this and everything else I grabbed his soul and with the movement of my hands, I threw him around. Throwing him to the ground, to nearby trees, to the bones I summoned, no matter where I kept hold of the soul and made it rain by his blood.

After a few more seconds of pure unadulterated bludgeoning, I finally let go of his soul. Hearing him groan I didn't waste a single second as I was on top of his back and very swiftly snapped his neck. After hearing a crack from his neck I finally got up and began to head to where my two teammates are.

Seeing Sarada's split head and Mitsuki's severed head, puked my guts out if I have any left. After a few minutes of seeing their bodies, I finally broke down crying. Crying over the death of my teammates, my curse of this world. And as I was too busy crying I didn't notice the world around me slowly turning white. When I noticed the world turning white it was too late for me as everything was completely white, I was trapped in a void.

But then a brighter light began to engulf everything including me. Deciding to do something I shield my eyes from the light. After a few moments, the light began to dim down and when I opened my eyes I was in the open field with Sarada and Mitsuki. In shock, I looked around me frantically and everything was the same, lucky me that my Henge is on now.

"Boruto, concentrate now, it's time," Sarada said as she jumped up.

I by instinct gathered my wind chakra and along with Mitsuki released it when Sarada landed on my feet. 'Wait didn't this happen already. Oh no it did I have to do something' I thought as I began to wonder what can I do. But I could see Sarada getting ready to punch Ashimaru and I could see Ashimaru grin and raise his sword.

"Sarada twist to the left" I shouted hoping that this would work.

Seeing the sword above her head, Sarada twisted her body to the left, dodging the attack. Raising her right hand she sends a chakra punch in Ashimaru's stomach. The result was devastating, so much so that Ashimaru coughed up lots of blood and his surrounding became flattened.

Heading to where Sarada was I began to think about what happened. 'Didn't this already happened, leading to the death of my team? But why am I here again, and what is this then' I thought while passing Sarada and headed to where Ashimaru was at. Taking a quick look at him I could tell he was dead, so I kicked dirt at the corpse and left. 'Asshole' I thought while leaving to join Sarada.

"Hey guys, are you alright," I asked to hope they don't remember what happened.

"Yeah, but I got this splitting headache" Sarada groaned while rubbing her head.

"Ugh ok then, how about you Mitsuki," I asked.

"I'm fine but my neck is sore for some reason. I guess we both slept in the wrong way" Mitsuki said smiling.

'Oh, you don't even know what happened' I thought before looking to where Konohamaru sensei was. Seconds later there was a huge bang but no fireball 'I guess he lives'.

"Ok guys let's go, the guys dead anyway" I urged as I began to walk to where Konohamaru was.

Having nothing to say they both followed me until I saw Konohamaru in front of us. Looking ahead of Konohamaru was Hidari and behind him was a massive hole from a mountain. 'Huh, what type Jutsu did big brother Konohamaru used, eh I don't care' I thought while heading towards him.

"Hey there, are we done yet," I asked while releasing Kiri from the ropes bounding her?

"Hm, yeah I guess we are done" he responded.

After checking everyone's injuries we all began to head back to Green Banks Village. After Kiri and the villagers thanked us we all turned and began our journey to the Hidden Leaf Village.

Back at the Leaf Village

After a few hours of running back to the Hidden Leaf Village, I could see the gates. I ran past everyone, wanting this day to be over and that I can visit my friends. Looking back at Konohamaru sensei asking him if we're free to go. He nodded his head, explaining that he will report for the Hokage.

With that said when everyone left and I was all by myself I quickly teleported back to Grillby's not noticing a few people who were hiding.

At Grillby's

After teleporting to Grillby's also taking a few people by surprise again.

"What's up bitches" I yelled until I was slapped by Yoko. Rubbing my head I could see John snickering.

"Watch your language" Yoko scolded.

"OH yeah, what are gonna do about it" I challenged which was a mistake. As the next thing, I noticed was that I was on the ground while Yoko was slapping me all over.

"Ah, stop please" I begged while laughing.

She reluctantly got up from me and I noticed that there was no more construction outside.

"Hey, where are the construction workers," I asked.

"They're done with the building," Grillby said.

"Oh wow, so now this is a hotel and a bar at the same," I asked with excitement.

"Yeah everyone here has their room, including me. Which leads me to now, Boruto does want a room here, no charge and you can stay there for as long as you like" Grillby asked.

"Sure" I responded while catching a pair of keys.

After that, I went down a corridor until "Hey uh Boruto" I looked at Grillby and noticed everyone looked worried.

"Yeah," I asked suddenly wary.

"Uh, never mind, enjoy your room," Grillby said before going back to his counter.

'Huh that was weird' I thought before finding my room, opening it. And let me tell it was alright some comfy-looking beds a bathroom and a snack bar, not that I'll use it anyway. After putting some stuff away I quickly lied down and fell asleep thinking about what happened recently against Ashimaru.

Back at the Bar

"Uh guys, do you think Boruto is ready for the truth," Grillby asked while cleaning a glass.

"Not yet, but maybe later ok, I just don't know how he'll react to it," Yoko asked while thinking about Boruto.

"He's a nice kid and all, but how will he take it" she pondered.

"Boruto is strong, he would understand us" Escanor pointed out while playing his card game.

"I guess you're right, maybe we should show him the truth later on," Yoko said before everyone went back to doing their things.
