Chapter Three

Journal Entry: Kirk let me in on why I received my sentencing yesterday. The news was so bad I was a no show at my job. The warden, or wardens as there is more then one are pretty much the gods of each of island. Each representing a letter in LGBT which meant only one thing. There was an island full of girls, an island full of transsexuals, and an island full of boys and girls. Each befitting a certain sexuality known to the world.

Yesterday was hugely depressing for me. It seems that I would be forever stuck here and there's almost nothing I can do about it. I say almost due to what was going to be attempted today. Some time today me and the warden are having a private chat about my ridiculous sentencing. Hey! I am gonna be stuck here forever cause ever since I was a tiny little tadpole swimming in my mother's pond with no brain capacity at all I decided to be fucking gay!

Parker and Hayden were walking with me to the recess area today. Apparently, I couldn't be cooped up in a room all day without taking a bit of fresh air I guess. Dakota would be joining us later as he had other things to do today.

While we walked other prisoners greeted me more and more. It's funny cause these jerks had no problem watching me almost kill myself on the first day. For the majority of them they were pretty nice guys while others were a little on the mean side. That isn't a surprise however as there is mean people wherever you go. I think its best if I stuck with my cell mates who were decent human beings.

When we made it outside Hayden took off on his own direction saying he wanted a quick chat with his friends. Parker and I stayed together for obvious reasons. "People are gonna always try to get at you if they see that your weak. Take Jacan for example, he sure represents the meaning of his name well."

"Tell me more about Jacan. What does he look like? Sound like? All the important stuff cause everything was blur during my first encounter."

Both of us sat down at a wooden table on the same side as one another. Parker clutched his fingers tight while looking forward. "Jacan is one of if not the biggest prisoner here, standing damn near eight feet tall. Don't get me wrong, he's a pretty nice guy but he chases after people he wants and the way he expresses his feelings for others isn't normal. He has tried to go after every guy here at least once and he does it because he's lonely."

"Even Charley, Alexander, Alex, and Kirk?" If he goes after them then Jacan has more of a say to anything going on in this prison.

"Jacan has managed to get Charley before. Once he did however, he instantly regretted it. There's a reason why he's queen around here and it isn't cause of his gorgeous appearance. Charley strikes fear into everyone, even Jacan himself. You haven't gotten the pleasure of meeting him and honestly it is best you avoid him at all cost."

So far Parker and Kirk have told me to avoid this Charley character. Reason why is completely unknown but I am not the type to go into drama unless needed be. During our little sit down from my peripheral vision someone was approaching. "Hey Rodney!" Parker said.

Rodney sat down across from pushing his brown curly hair out of his eyes for him to see Parker. "Hey! I stopped by your cell but you weren't there. Someone said you were outside giving the newbie a tour." He then turned towards me. "Woah! Your even better looking up close. Tell me, you gonna take Charley's place? It'd really do this place a favor."

Parker switched sides so he could be closer to Rodney who I'm gonna assume is his actual boyfriend. He leant his head on Rodney's shoulder taking his hand so they could intertwine with one another. "Oh come on, I don't think he has those ambitions. Besides, everyone has come and gone trying to get that spot but he's won every time."

"Won every time? Like a fight?" I asked.

"Oh yes," he replied, "we have a fight system in this prison for the four positions. If anyone wants a chance at say in this prison they need to fight on of the four. They have an obvious advantage over us due being here longer then all of us. That doesn't stop people from trying to get at it. If you'd like we could take you over to the colosseum. Pretty sure you'll see testosterone clashing with each other."

The more learned about this prison, the more I began wanting to be gone of this place. This wasn't a fantasy I wanted anymore not this way anyway. Fighting over a position and yet the warden doesn't give a crap about it. "Actually, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind showing me to the warden's office."

Parker and Rodney's eye widened in shock from my bluntness of wanting to meet the warden. "You can't just meet with Warden, you need to cause something so heinous that even he calls you personally. But that's nigh impossible. The warden doesn't really care what's going on around here."

Rodney rose his finger, "there is Percy who's had continuous run ins with the warden. If you want to grab his attention, Percy is your guy. Of course, he is in isolation due to his troubles."

Why didn't I find it surprising that having a semi decent conversation was gonna be hard? Maybe from my first day of being here I already saw how little this warden did to watch his prisoners. No guards, no cameras, no other type of person that delivered food or other necessities. It seemed as if every prisoner had to do something to keep this place running.

My eyes focused back on Rodney and Parker only to see that these two were locking lips with one another. Rolling my eyes I stood up from the table and walked aimlessly taking in the thousands of prisoners that occupied the recess area. The usual me would be drooling at the amount of boy candy surrounding me. But I was more worried about getting out of here then anything.

"Newbie! I was looking all over for you!" My name is Zach Birds! Why was everyone insisting on calling me either a newbie or some long number. Everyone was called by their birth names while here I am not even being acknowledged properly. "I saw that none of you guys weren't in the room. Figured you were out here alone not being properly protected."

Dakota stepped in front of me continuing to walk backwards while staring at me. "So, how you like the recess area? Pretty cool right? You'll learn to love this place just let it grow on you! What does home have that this place doesn't? I don't remember much from earth but I do remember how hard it was for someone like me. Here, there's boys just like me that won't judge me. I am truly in heaven!"

He had an excellent point. Compared to back home this place was actually fantastic. However, it had an unnatural feeling about this place. As if it was way too good to be true. There was a reason why a prisoner tried to escape and Percy was always clashing with the warden. But due to the obvious gap power status Percy did not stand a chance.

"Hey! Are you listening to me newbie! Don't you leave me on hold like that it hurts my feelings." Dakota pouted continuing to walk backwards with his arms crossed.

"I'm sorry, what were you saying now?" I asked.

"So, I was thinking that me and you could go ove—" Dakota was cut off by a huge hand shoving him out of my eye view.

I was now looking at a boy with an extraordinarily gigantic appearance. Not only was he huge, he was a lot taller then any boy I met this far. This boy would make Kirk seem like a kid standing next to him. "I didn't have the honor of properly being introduced to you last time. You probably don't even remember this handsome mug do you?"

I swallowed a huge lump in my throat realizing that I was face to stomach with none other then Jacan himself. "It's been a long ten years since a newbie has came to this prison. I've been waiting anxiously for some freshness to stroll by and the smell is just radiating off of you fruitcake. Charley had better watch out or he might be the one stepping down."

If someone compares me to the likes of Charley one more time...

Jacan's massive frame stepped closer blocking my view of the sky. From the corner of my eye I saw Dakota getting up from being pushed earlier shoving his way in between us. "Back up Jacan, he's not just some toy you can do anything with bastard."

The difference in size was actually a terrifying sight to behold. I would say Jacan was atleast seven feet seven inches tall and with all that height he was indeed very muscular. Naturally, you would think someone like Dakota who is a very petite figure being my height he would just not even bother. Yet here he is standing for me, a guy he barely even knew. "I wasn't gonna do anything Dakota, all I wanted to do is talk to him."

"Then why the hell did you push him so hard?" I heard Parker's voice from behind me. "Dakota wasn't causing any trouble to you."

Jacan frowned at Parker, "he's like 115 pounds... a gust of wind knocked him down before you know. I can't help my strength. Don't worry, Kirk made me a deal I couldn't refuse so I'm not at all interested in him, for now at least. For once, I just wanted to know our newest addition."

It doesn't take a genius to see through his lying teeth. Jacan wasn't coming over for friendly conversation and if he was, shoving Dakota like that was unnecessary as Parker stated earlier. I took Dakota's wrist pulling him away from Jacan. Honestly, I didn't mind the effort but seeing him embarrass himself trying to protect me was just heartbreaking.

Parker also followed suit we were now walking away from the recess area. "I appreciate what you guys did for me back there. Don't know what could have been done if I were by myself."

Truthfully, I would have just never left my cell. If me staying for most of the day meant never having to confront Jacan I would have gladly done so. Nonetheless, these guys do deserve credit for saving my skin back there.

"We roommates gotta stick together against assholes like Jacan. He won't do anything as long as there's more then one person. I'm gonna take over to where Hayden usually is. His choice of hanging out is much more preferable then mine." Parker said.

As we were walking I couldn't help but notice a lone prisoner who was leaning against the wall catch my attention. There was something about him that made me want to converse with this prisoner. Telling both Parker and Dakota I'll be right back I headed straight towards this prisoner who from here seemed sweaty possibly from his shift. He was wearing a black tank top with the top half of his black jumpsuit being zipped down.

Standing directly in front of him I extended my hand out towards him. "Zach," I properly introduced myself. He simply rose his head up from looking at his black shoes and forcing his long black dreads out of his face.

"And this concerns me how exactly?"

Rude....

"I saw that you were lonely maybe you wanted to meet someone who was feeling a similar." I was obviously lying through my teeth but if there is anything to be learnt, it's that the quiet lonely people are more likely to know things others didn't. The black haired teen forced his hair out of his vision again pushing himself off the wall.

"Look, I know about you Zach. Your the newbie who almost used the sweet release of death to escape this place. You want answers obviously and no one is providing them. Well, unfortunately for you nor do I have answers for you so why don't you just keep a move on?"

What in the hell crawled up this guy's ass to be talking to me like this? He was right, I did want answers and it was most definite that it wouldn't be from this guy. Without pushing any further I decided it be best for regrouping with my roommates.

Thousands of questions ran through my head as I watched purple comets shoot across the purple sky at lightning speeds. How long has this island existed? How long have people like Kirk or Charley have been here? Why is the warden so hidden from us? There were many more questions that continued to run through my mind.

"Dakota! Hey Dakota!" I ran after him so I could hear more about the place he wanted to hang out with. "Where's the place you wanted to head too?" I asked finally reaching him.

He stopped, "oh! I was wondering if you wanted to head to the springs with me? Get to know more of the people so you won't feel like a complete outcast! Your around my size so you can borrow one of my trunks!"

"Sounds good, I'll tag along." A nice refreshing swim was very much needed after hearing the news yesterday. Along with a confrontation with none other then big boy Jacan himself.

I told Dakota to meet me in the cafeteria since the springs were closer towards it. As I went into the cell I was suddenly shoved into a nearby wall. My room door was completely forced close and I couldn't see who was grabbing me because I didn't even get a chance to turn the light on. My heart throbbed against my chest as I felt absolutely helpless against my unknown aggressor. Frantically, I tried breaking free from the grip but it was no use he had an immensely strong grip.

"I like when they struggle newbie." That voice, it was Jacan! He turned me around so my back was to his chest and began to kiss and suck and bite on my neck. "What about the deal with Kirk!" I murmured even though I quite enjoyed it, I wasn't going to let this creep get the pleasure. "Don't do this to me please." Tears began streaming down my face as pressed his chest harder into my back.

He chuckled when realizing what I had said. "The deal with Kirk? He never said anything about you being off limits behind close doors." He growled grooming my blonde hair, "So that's what your little friends have been telling you huh?" He whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine.

"Why on earth would you ever think I would do something like that? Do you really think of me like that? I'm guess you heard about those chain rumors." He turned me around and picked me up so that my back was against the wall. "I may like chaining people up but I never have I ever done anything like that." Jacan unzipped the top half of my jumpsuit forcing my naked chest to be exposed. "Come on, succumb to me."

His tight grip on my sides and the way he was pressed against me was making me hard. "Why would I do tha-" He turned me back around and shoved his hand straight down the middle, Jacan's smooth cold arm rested against my chest and his hand was right at my underwear waist band. His big hand was surprisingly smooth.

The way it felt had me leaking. "That's why. You know you want it newbie...your leaking at my touch." He suddenly began to twist and my leakage began to coat every nerve on my member. I moaned and turned my head away from him in shame.

It felt amazing and the way he was sucking on my neck, I couldn't possibly understand how they had a scary experience. I was practically shaking from the pleasure and I felt a wave of pleasure beginning to come over me.

"Ja-Jacan" I moaned, trying to move his hand to no avail. "I know little one, just let it happen. Jacan is going to make you beg for more." The pleasure hit me and I almost screamed in pleasure but his hand covered my mouth at the right moment.

The pleasure was so good. I was on a mountain of a climax. No one had ever went this far with me and I wasn't one to touch myself.

I couldn't believe Jacan of all people was doing this to me for the first time and a wave of shame instantly began to come over me afterwards. He let me go and I almost fell over from being so weak. "You see little one, Jacan doesn't do the r word, he watches, he observes and for you, he pleasures."

He left the cell and I fell to my knees trying to catch my breath. Quickly, I wiped away the tears that went from fear to utter joy. Feebly, I got up and walked over to bed pulling back my covers. I was so weak I didn't have the energy to go swimming. All I could think about was Jacan and why he even wanted to do something with me of all people. I got under my covers curling myself into a ball with my back towards the wall.

I know I pointed him out as like a lying bad guy but after that, my views on him was changing. I also knew I didn't want to tell Dakota or Kirk about this because I don't want them over exaggerating anything that I just happened to like very much.

It was five o'clock when I had finally woken up meaning I slept for nearly four hours. Groggily, I sat up wiping away at the none wanted trash in my eyes. Moving my hands I saw that Dakota and Hayden were on the couch chatting with one another. Parker was at the edge of the bed with a note in hand. "I've been waiting for you to wake up to give you this might wanna take this seriously by the way." He handed me the note.

So, Zach Birds, your the new fruitcake everyone has been talking about. I remember you young man. Quite the history you got too however your no different then fifty percent of the population who's had similar childhoods. Don't think I haven't been watching you Zach, even I have taken an interest in you myself.

Every step you take, every time you have a conversation, and every time you have breath I know about. Stop trying to figure a way out of here because you can't boy. No one has ever escaped from here. There is, however one way out of you just gotta have the courage to find it and live with it for the rest of your life, sinner.

Who could have sent this? And why was it that they called me a young man? Everyone here is really young! I haven't seen or heard anyone that was over 20 years old and if there are I sincerely hope they have their own part of the island.

"736564!" Kirk was standing in the pathway urging for me to come over. Dakota immediately got up off the couch and ran straight towards the door literally jumping and clutching onto Kirk. "Dakota! Not now this is serious!" He tried prying him off but it was no use as Dakota was locked on. "Ugh, whatever! Come on outside I gotta talk to you about something. No contact with the skin Dakota!" He pointed angrily walking out of the room.

I shortly followed after them. Now outside I stared at Kirk who was currently pushing Dakota's face away from his while at the same moving his head any sneak attacks. "I'm guessing you guys are not secretly boyfriends?"

"No, he's just obsessed with me and I couldn't tell you why either!" Kirk said, "Dakota! Control yourself fruitcake!"

Dakota pouted but finally released himself from Kirk. He walked back in the room but not before he sent a flying kiss towards Kirk in which he didn't even bother to catch it. With him gone Kirk faced me reaching for something in his pockets. "Here," he handed me yet another note.

The newbie everyone has been comparing me too! How cute are you! Look here newbie, you have a lot of guts if you think you can waltz in here like I wasn't here first. Anyway, your at least an hour away from me so there's that to look forward too. Do me a favor, stay at the beginning part of the island and you will never have to worry about us encountering one another.

Just from the first sentence alone I already knew that Charley had finally entered himself in my life. Well, I wouldn't say enter but we are now aware of one another's existence. Judging from the note he's on another part of the island an hour away from me. Seems like we won't ever know what one another looks like. Which is news to me!

"Seems like word finally gotten to Charley. Do me a great favor and DON'T piss him off."

"You don't have to worry about that Kirk, relax okay? What's got you so work up about Charley anyway? Why are you scared of him?"

"It's not that I'm scared of him. I'm scared because I know what he can do when something doesn't go his way. And I think everyone else can agree on me with that right you three?" Both of us looked into the room in a unison to see my other roommates literally ease dropping on our conversation. "Nosy assholes." Kirk muttered under his breath.

Kirk focused his attention back to me with his arms crossed. "Stay out of trouble will ya? Oh, and has Jacan given you any trouble? I told him to stay away from you at all cost in trade for some prime ribs! Think that's a good deal?"

'Stay away from you at all cost.' Jacan had broken his part of the deal it seemed.

If I tell Kirk about him I feel as if I would disrupt the peace along with possibly mutual respect these two boys have for one another. I couldn't go through with that I'd be fed up with guilt if they fight it out. Plus, I would just be lying as well as denying if I would've said I didn't enjoy what Jacan had done with me.

With no other choice I decided against telling Kirk about my encounter. Not much was said after that, he only asked how my day was going and if I was enjoying my stay so far. In which I replied with, 'no.' Now back in the room, Dakota was now solo on the couch staring at the wall calmly hands relaxing on his cheeks and brown hair dangling in front of his face.

Out of everyone currently in this room Dakota was my sincere favorite. Sure, Parker did help in a lot of ways and so has Hayden but Dakota just naturally is a happy person. Even when taken away from everyone he knows and loves he always kept a smile on his face. "Hey Dakota?" I asked while sitting behind him. "I know I asked you this a few days ago but maybe you can go more in depth with it this time? What's up with you and Kirk? Your always on him both physically and mentally."

"He's a special case and fortunately for me boys like that are my type. Like I said before, no one really knows about his position unless he ever felt like telling you or finding out from someone like me. There's more to it then that though. Kirk is very mysterious person, no one knows much about him. He eats by himself, showers by himself, and most of the day is gone without a trace. It's why I get so happy to see him! He only appears when he wants to say something."

"Why doesn't he go out with you? It's obvious you two adore one another even though he doesn't exactly show you any affection back."

"I couldn't tell you why honestly. But I'm willing too wait, I've been here for sixty years all I got is time." Did I hear that correctly?

According to Dakota, he's been here for exactly sixty years yet he doesn't look a day over seventeen. Just what kind of Island have I been sleeping on for the past few days? I can only imagine how old the four original prisoners.

"I only like him, no one else at this island interest me at cause everyone else is just too normal and as you can see I am far from that. I may not be the smartest boy in here but I know how to pick my boys."

I hear that, Dakota.
