Sue Olivia De Morse POV

Ever since that night Dominique became distant to me and made himself busier.

I tried many times to talk with him but it seems like his still upset.

He didn't even step inside the jewelry shop to bother me.

I decided to not come at the jewelry shop for a moment, Isä must be suspicious soon if we continued this cold treatments.

"Your highness the crown prince has arrived." The servant announce making me shock.

This is indeed unexpected I immediately called the servant to prepare while I was getting dress.

I look at the mirror and almost faint on how horrible I look good thing that my bruise is finally healed so I can walk properly.

After dressing up and fixed a bit of myself thanks to the make up I decided to face the prince in the study room.

"Greetings your highness the crown prince apologize for being not prepared and making you wait. Please have a seat do you want to have tea?" I asked.

Why are you here evil prince?

"Yes please, how are you doing lately?" He asked.

I was a bit surprise on what he asked now I feel embarrass I haven't thank him yet he'll definitely think how shameless I am.

"I'm recovering well thanks to your highness I heard from father that you are the one who carried me I was grateful for his majesty's kindness." I said in a fake smile.

If he haven't provoke and made me stress I wouldn't be grounded and I wouldn't have runaway from home!

I saw him look at me in the eyes and signed the servants away.

"Why do I feel that you are really not thankful about it Lady sue you can talk to me like what you did last time now that we are alone." He grinned.

So this is how he's going to play this?

"I wouldn't dare your highness but your I appreciate the offer its tempting." I smirk.

I saw his grin wider like I'm an interesting object in his emerald eyes.

"You know about this?"

My eyes widened remembering that man with green eyes while looking at the prince.

"I must be crazy." I thought.

"Now your trying to act innocent after all the words that you have said that night." He said in a serious voice.

"I didn't know your are the prince!" I exclaimed.

I froze with my reaction damn I'm trap.

"You mean to say you'll turn a blind eye of what you heard because I'm the crown prince?"

His tone became different while his face became gloomy.

I guess I made a mistake with my answer.

"What do you want me to say your highness?" I thought.

"I can't take this anymore will you please stop provoking me and making me think so many stuff. I already have a problem with my brother." I said in frustrations.

Crap!

I slipped.

I saw how his expression changes from gloomy it turns to confusion.

I immediately covered my mouth in embarrassment.

"W-why are you looking at me like that!" I exclaimed.

"You just remind me of someone." He blurted.

Someone? Is it he's lover? Mistress? Flings?!!

He noticed I was lost at thought and fake cough.

"Your majesty are you sick?" I said moving a distance a way.

"Do I look like I have some contagious disease?" He said while looking at me in disbelief.

"Of course not! I didn't mean it that way your highness!" I exclaimed.

"Really then why are you suddenly changing the topic?" He asked.

"You must be mistaken your highness I didn't know what you are talking about." I answered his making me uncomfortable what did he knows that I don't?

"Really you forgot to tell me about your brother." He said.

"Your highness please refrain yourself this is my family's matter and I think you know already that it doesn't concern you." I said in a serious voice.

How can be so calm and why did he blurted something that he's not even connected.

"Unless he knows something." I thought.

I saw him became serious and spoke.

"It does concern me Lady Sue." He said while taking out something in his pocket.

"How did you- I mean where did you find this?" I asked trying to hide my nervousness.

"Lady Sue." He said in a deadly tone.

"I lost it in the mid-class area thats why I was shock that your highness have it." I replied.

"Very well, here I know that Lady Sue will never dare to lie as I am part of the Royal family knowing that I am the crown prince of Philopia." He said in a serious voice while handing the bracelet.

I felt my sweat were starting to appear and I can't help but not to gulped in fear.

If my guess was right he is that man I met at the Traveler's antique the man who has a very intimidating presence.

I don't want my whole family to be involved with my foolishness. Its all my fault in the first place and now I've been lying with this guy for the 2nd time.

"Y-you're right." I said.

I almost stuttered while giving him an answer.

"I heard my advisor Viscount Raven have been praising the Marquis daughter and her older brother sir Dominique with their famous shop at the Capital." He said.

What's wrong with this guy his mood changes like a snap.

"Sir Raven must have said a lot about the shop but my brother and I were just taking it as a hobby." I answered.

"Lady Sue is very humble I would like to visit your shop will that be fine with you?" He asked in a serious expression.

"Of course not!" I thought.

"O-of course your highness." I said while giving him a fake smile.

I actually wanted to burry him alive.

I suddenly felt a bad feeling about this knowing that my brother and I are still not in good terms.

The prince and his companion talk about something and told me to be ahead first.

As I opened the door I saw Dom talking with one of the attendants.

He must have notice someone was staring at him and faced me.

"What are you doing her?" He said in a dark tone while looking at me in the doorway.

"I-" I gripped my hand and bit my lip because I don't have any idea what to say.

I saw his eyes landed into my wrist, he must have noticed the bracelet.

I thought he'll be fine if the bracelet was found but I think I made a mistake again.

He suddenly look more upset and grabbed me inside, he signed the attendants to leave us and faced me.

"Why do you have this?! I've keep myself silent from äiti about this and yet you've been at the south border again!" He exclaimed in anger.

I was too surprise and didn't know how to react but he was right.

My hands are trembling and I was in the state of shock to respond.

"You are shameless."

"You don't care about us."

"You are selfish sue!"

"Sue-" Dom was interrupted by someone.

"You must have mistaken."

That voice.

"Your highness forgive me for not knowing you are here but as for the moment my sister and I need to talk." Dominique said in a serious voice

"I understand but please allow me to clarify some misunderstandings." He said.

"I found the bracelet and visited your place to gave it to her." He added.

My brother sighed and spoke to his highness

"Your highness please take a seat and make yourself comfortable. I'll talk with her for a moment if it would be fine with you." Dominique said directly.

The crown prince shook his head and spoke.

"You both have the same kind of attitude take your time I'll look around." He said.

We got inside the private room and heard him sigh.

"You must be so scared and been resenting me right now. Forgive me Sue I was just worried I don't care about the bracelet. Its just I don't want to lose a sister again." He cried.

I was shaken about Dominique's words, it was so inconsiderate of me to not notice.

My stern and strict brother who has a happy go lucky attitude was showing me his very own weakness.

I walk towards him and hugged him tightly I can't help myself but cry.

"I'm sorry brother I didn't know it was too selfish of me for not considering how you've felt and the traumatic experience you have. I promise not to do it again so please don't be upset anymore." I said.

He slowly releases and wiped my face with his hands.

"Don't cry its also my fault for being trapped by the past. Qivah must have misunderstood me and thought everything will be fine if she does something about it. But that misunderstanding had lead her to death and now I almost repeated the same mistake." He said in a worried voice.

"I understand brother you don't need to blame yourself were a family. We won't repeat what we have regretted in the past." I said.

I saw a smile form from his lips thats the Dominique I know.

"You are right but before that your highness must be waiting." He said.

Now I almost forgot I'm trouble.

"Sue whats wrong? Don't tell me you lied to the crown prince?!" He exclaimed.

"O-of course not." I lied.

I notice Dominique looking at me seriously but I stood up and gave him a fine smile.

We got back and saw the prince talking with the man earlier.

"I guess you two have been in a better relationship now so I guess its time for me to borrow your beloved sister." He said.

Dominique was hesitating but the other attendant from his shop called him.

"I'll be leaving then your highness." Dominique said.

"I know my mistake please forgive me your highness I'll accept the punishment." I said while on the floor.

I'm so dead.

"Really should I execute you now?" He asked.

"Have mercy your highness Please spare my life I beg you." I begged.

"Its a waste to kill you right now even if I wanted to so I'll give you another chance." He said thinking throughly.

"I'll follow your highness decision as long as it won't harm me or my family." I said.

"Very well be my royal assistant then." He said.

"Your royal ass- what?! I mean pardon your highness?" I asked in surprise.

"You'll be following me from now on anywhere no everywhere." He said in a serious voice.

Oh dear Holiness help me from above! This devil has evil plans in his head!

"I'll explain to Marquis Riché and Sir Isaac regarding about this matter so you don't need to worry about it." He grinned.

"I think I'll prefer to be executed than being with you everyday please proceed sir who-you-are." I said while initiating the sword towards me.

I saw his highness face changes like he wanted to eat me up.

"I can't take this anymore." The man holding the sword and laugh so hard.

The prince has abnormality with his attitude so it would be possible that his men will adapt with that abnormality right?

I nodded while analyzing my thoughts.

"What are you nodding at and Gin what are you doing?" He said looking irritated.

"I'm so sorry your highness and Lady Sue allow me to introduce my self. I'm Caesar Gin Worleitt his majesty's trusted ally. I heard a lot about you from Viscount Raven and of course about (that)." He said.

"It was a pleasure meeting you Sir Caesar I was curious on a talented and knowledgeable person like you. I also heard a lot from Sir Raven about your pearl business." I said.

Act bold and direct to catch his interest.

"How interesting your attitude suddenly changed into someone I should face." Sir Caesar answered.

"Caesar." The crown prince answered with a cold expression.

"Right, I guess this is not the right time to talk about it Lady Sue." He said and moved backward.

"What do you take me for Lady Sue? Aside from deceiving a crown prince you acted shamelessly in front of my subordinates. You've been too comfortable for yourself I think I made a mistake about you." He said in a cold tone.

Do you think I'll accept being dictated what to do or not in my life?

I'm so fed up with this am I not allowed to be myself I don't want to follow those damn rules at all.

I clenched my fist but I stared at him with blank expression.

"Forgive me your highness I understand what you meant." I said in a cold tone.

I saw his expression changes but I don't want to think about it anymore.

"I just wanted to remind you where your place is I do hope you won't take it by grudge." He said and stood up.

"Yes your highness." I replied.

"I'll be leaving Sir Caleb would be escorting you tomorrow." He said and turned away.

He looks displeased but I am more disgusted.

I almost forgot what my goal is because of the sudden changes I got overwhelmed.

I found myself standing at the same place again.

"You came back." I froze hearing that voice.

I slowly turned and saw the man I met and who saved me from trouble.

"Why are you crying?" He asked.

I didn't know that my tears are already falling from my eyes.

"I don't know." I said.

I saw him looking surprise and smiled.

"We are finally got to see each other yet you are crying." He said and handed me his handkerchief.

"I'm sorry about this but I forgot to ask your name." I said.

Finally I was able to ask I don't want to miss it again.

"Call me Arch." He said with a bright smile.

"Well sir Arch its time for me to pay my debt to you." I smiled and take out the necklace.

Hallie was able to send it to me earlier at the mansion.

"You don't have to but you actually impressed me Lady Olivia." He said while looking at the necklace.

"Thank you it might not be perfect but I do hope you like it." I said in embarrassment.

"Its perfect." He said and wears it.

"Wait do you think its fine we are at the commoners area." I asked.

"You seems sad do you want me to make you happy?" He asked while changing the topic.

"Really? Your offer is quiet tempting however I'll gladly say yes!" I exclaimed.

"Lend me your hand and used your hood to take cover, let's runaway from this place." Arch said while offering his hand.

I wanted to run away with him.
