Chapter 120 One step away

Illidan didn't say anything. He just stood silently. Archimonde didn't mind it. He said with a deep voice.

" Elf, I will grant the power that you seek. In return, you must give your soul to me."

Illidan sighed. He said with indifference.

" I agree your proposal."

Archimonde laughed.

" Good choice. Now take it."

Illidan felt unbearable pain. He gritted his teeth and accepted the power. An endless darkness corroded his mind. Thankfully, Illidan had firm will. He didn't succumb to the darkness.

Suddenly, a silhouette appeared in the air. Archimonde and others knelt down.

" Lord."

Sargeras looked at Illidan with amusement. He said with a cold voice.

" Bring him to me."

Xavius shuddered. He took Illidan to the Sargeras. Sargeras's eyes looked down at him. He said lightly.

" What a good seed. Tell me your wish."

Illidan said with difficulty.

" I wish more power."

Sargeras smiled cruelly. He said with a hoarse voice.

" Good."

Suddenly, Illidan started screaming. The power burned his eyes. Illidan couldn't see anymore. In his eye sockets, there were 2 blazing flames. Sargeras said with indifference.

" Serve me well."

Illidan nodded.

Azshara who saw this, couldn't help to tremble. She thought that she can seduce Sargeras. However, the reality was cruel. Sargeras didn't cast a single gaze to her. He only looked at Illidan. Illidan said with gnashing.

" Hail, burning legion."

One month later,

The war was almost ended. Only capital of the Elven empire left. Arthur overwhelmed the entire enemy army. He was called the most brilliant strategist in the history of Azeroth.

Tyrande looked at the capital. She finally reached here. Her forehead was filled with sweat.

Pat*

Arthur came to her. He was wearing a gorgeous armor.

" What make you think so deeply?"

Tyrande didn't mind his hand. She was happy and anxious. She couldn't say it to Arthur.

" Nothing."

Arthur smiled. He said with a warm voice.

" It is normal to be anxious. We all have gone through a lot."

Tyrande looked back. She hugged Arthur.

" Please comfort me. I am worried about Illidan. I don't believe that he is a betrayer like Azshara."

Arthur hugged her gently. He whispered.

" Everything will be alright. There, there."

Tyrande calmed down a little. She picked up her bow.

" When will we attack?"

Arthur said immediately. He was calm.

" After one hour."

Tyrande said sadly because she knew that the time had come. They would part away after the war. Maybe she wouldn't be able to see his face anymore. This brought sadness to her. She was fighting with for a few months. Only he comforted her when she needed comfort.

" I want to spend our time in the forest. Would you accompany me for the last time?"

Arthur looked at her with a complicated look. He deliberately distanced himself from Tyrande. But, he understood, no matter how far distance, the love would ignore it. Arthur clearly saw through her heart. Yet, he acted like he didn't see it.

" I understand."

Tyrande held Arthur's hand tightly. She knew that Arthur didn't have feelings for like her. However, she didn't care. She preferred not to regret.

In the forest.

Arthur sat quietly on the tree with Tyrande. Tyrande said with a low voice.

" Maybe this is my fate. I don't deserve a love for eternity."

Arthur shook his head.

" All of us have a different fate. If we are destined, we will meet again."

Tyrande bit her lips. She wanted to open her heart.

Swoosh*

She pushed down Arthur. Arthur looked at her calmly. He said with a light tone.

" Won't you regret it?"

Tyrande shook her head.

" If what you said is the truth, then I believe in my fate."

Arthur didn't want to do with her. However, when he saw her eyes. He gave up. Her eyes were clear and bright. Arthur didn't wish to hurt her. Tyrande looked at him with a tender gaze.

One hour later.

Arthur came out with Tyrande. Unlike before, Tyrande was more mature and charming. Malfurion couldn't help to ask.

" Where were you?"

Tyrande smiled.

" I wanted to see the scenery. This might be our last battle."

Malfurion laughed.

" We won't die. I guarantee it."

Alexstrasza looked at Tyrande with a big smile.

" The girl has become a woman."
