Washington D. C, White House
Arthur calmly sipped his tea. He said with a low voice.
" Mr.. President, why did you call me?"
The President looked at Arthur with respect. He said with a deep tone.
" I have news for you. We accepted register bill."
Kacha*
Arthur's cup broke into many pieces. He looked at the President with clear eyes.
" Do you understand your words?"
The President sighed. He nodded his head with difficulty.
" You have to understand, Mr. Frost. We are also in hard situations. The civilians are demanding justice from us."
Arthur's breathe hastened. He said angrily.
" No, I don't understand. How could you sacrifice is for your needs? We are humans too, not unemotional organisms. We cry and laugh like others. Do you think we are at fault? We sacrifice ourselves for the peace, yet you decided to do something like this."
The President was shamed to hear Arthur's words. Even he was helpless because of the senators.
" I am sorry. Believe me, I had no choice."
Arthur snorted coldly. He didn't trust him at all.
" You all say the same. However, you think us too lightly. If I wanted to become the President, I already would have taken your seat."
The President looked at him with slight anger. Arthur continued.
" Peace requires two participants. You have already made your choice. I will do my own way."
After saying that, he got up and left the room. The President clicked his tongue. He picked up his phone and called to a familiar number.
" General Ross. Yes, he already left the room. I want you to act. Did Tony Stark agree? Good. At least we have a few hole cards. If they don't agree to this, put them into the prison."
The president put down his phone and placed his hands on the table. He muttered.
" I am sorry. But for the U.S.A., you have to bear this matter."
In the car.
Arthur said coldly.
" Star, call all Avengers to the Headquarters. We will have a meeting tonight."
That night
Arthur looked at his teammates with a serious gaze. Blade asked.
" What happened? Why are you so angry?"
Arthur briefly explained the situation to them. Azshara hit her table with fury.
" This is madness. Who do they think they are? We aren't their subjects."
Gilgamesh nodded. His eyes were filled with a chilling look.
" They want to use us as weapons. They didn't regard us humans."
Tony sighed. He looked at them with a helpless look.
" I already agreed to this. We are too powerful to be left alone."
Steve's eyes grew bigger.
" Why? We are humans too. Why did you agree?"
Tony didn't dodge his questioning.
" Because of Sokovia. Our powers need to be checked. If we turn into villains, do you imagine our destructive power?"
Sam denied his statement immediately.
" We won't betray from humans. We always fought for them."
Rhodes said deeply.
" But we caused many destruction. Did you count the casualties? We have killed thousands of people."
Clint retorted back.
" But we save millions of lives. We gave them new hope."
Tony said with indifference.
" False hope. Our hands are tainted by the blood of our enemies and innocents."
Natasha nodded. She also agreed with him.

Suddenly, Arthur got up from his seat. He took a deep breath and said calmly.
" I have an announcement."
Tony raised his eyebrows. He said lightly.
" Go on."
Arthur took out his ID card and put it down on the table.
" From now on, I am quitting from Avengers."
Steve said with anxiety.
" Arthur, what are you doing?"
Arthur shook his head.
" I won't change my decision. Goodbye!"
He turned around and left resolutely. Blade took off his card and followed him along. Azshara and Nyssa also left with him. Arthur's heroes left one by one. Steve looked at them with an unbelieving look. He never thought his best friend would leave like this. Finally, Defenders took off their cards.
Luke said calmly.
" It was an honor to work with you."
Tony didn't reply. He was shocked to hear Arthur's decision. Natasha was also silent. She said nervously.
" Tony, what happened? Why are they leaving?"
Tony smiled wryly.
" Ask it from your husband."
