Arthur's eyes were bright as he steered the wheel. He was whistling a song.
Diana walked behind him. She said lightly.
" What are you thinking? You seemed to be in a good mood."
Arthur grinned.
" I am thinking about an exotic flower. You see my mother loves plants."
Diana nodded. She gazed at the deep of the forest.
" Will they agree? I heard Ionian land is scared and they think every life is precious."
Arthur smiled and took out something from his pocket. It was a seed, but it had a very strange color.
" A seed of the world tree in otherworld. It is a priceless seed and the tree gave it to me. I think this is the place."
Diana narrowed her eyes and sighed.
" So that was your goal. I though this was a very unusual behavior of yours."
Arthur shrugged his shoulders and he pointed down.
" We are here. I will go down there and plant it. You have to protect the ship."
Diana nodded and said calmly.
" I wish you luck."
Arthur smiled brightly and teased her.
" What's wrong with the iron lady? Are you worried about me?"
Diana pushed him down without any mercy and watched him to fall. She muttered.
" You talk too much."
Bang*
Arthur fell to the ground and got up immediately. He sighed.
" Such a cold woman. Oh well, let's finish our job."
Arthur carefully threaded on the road.
Rustle*
The wind was blowing softly as it was communicating with him. Arthur hummed as he walked.
" Hum*"
The leaves danced with his rhythm and nature was listening to his voice. Arthur said calmly.
" I greet the old spirits. I have brought a baby to you. Please accept him as your kin."
Drip*
The trees bowed to accept his gift. A little root came out from the ground. Arthur took out his seed and handed over it.
Swoosh*
The root had gone to the ground silently. Arthur bowed and said politely.
" I thank the great spirits and I have one favor to ask. Could you give a pretty flower seed? I swear I will take care of him."
The wind blowed softly and a single seed landed on his palm. Arthur bowed again and turned back. However, he stopped his movements when he smelled something.
" Blood!"
He quickly rushed to the direction and saw an old house. His eyes turned red as his senses were raised.
Knock*
He knocked the door and opened it quietly.
" Anyone there?"
He saw no one in the house, but he saw their energies. Arthur said lightly.
" I don't have any ill intentions. The spirits guided me here."
Swoosh*
The room lit up and a woman came out. Arthur recognized her, but he knew she didn't know him. Hence, he feigned ignorance.
" Can I know your name? Where is the injured one?"
Ahri looked at him with suspicion, but her senses were telling her to trust him. She said calmly.
" She is here. She is very badly injured. I can't treat her alone."
She revealed Irelia who was unconscious. Arthur's pupil dilated slightly. He quickly went to her side and checked her pulse. He sighed with relief.
" She is still alive, but she lost too much blood. Her mana is in chaos. She needs urgent help from a doctor. Thankfully, you have met me."
Ahri decided to believe him and observed him.
Arthur muttered slowly.
" Healing light."
A soft light covered Ahri and her wound was disappearing in naked eyes. Even so Arthur didn't calm down. He placed his hand on her shoulder and felt the energy course.
" Not yet, the wound is inflamed. It will reoccur once I stop it here."
He pulled his Zanpoktou from the space which shocked Ahri. He then placed it on her shoulder and pricked her with its hilt. Surprisingly, the hilt drew out black blood and green pus from her shoulder.
Irelia groaned with pain when she felt it. However, her expression turned normal after a few seconds.
Arthur sighed and smiled.
" Done. She will wake up soon. Please let her rest and warn her not to move."
Ahri bowed.
" I am sorry and thank you. You saved her life."
