Chapter 7 Training

Darwin was speechless. He never knew he was this powerful.

Arthur looked at Hank.

" As for you, I can improve your overall physical ability. That means you will more powerful and durable, but you need to train your mind with it too. I have seen a genius like you rarely. Your mind can rival most of my prized scientists."

Hank scratched his head with embarrassment. He said with modesty.

" Oh, you take me too much."

Arthur shook his head.

" Now then let's begin your training. Eric, can you see that big antenna? You have to move it with your power. Charles, here grab this. This is a special titanium ball which I have prepared for you. You have to change its shape to acceptable form. Havoc, as long as you can destroy the training dummies which I have built today, you can pass the test. Banshee, you will be doing a vocal training with my clone. Darwin, you are special. You will visit around the world with Rose for your training. Lastly Hank, you will train with my real body."

The mutants were confused, but they followed him.

Darwin raised his hand.

" Um, how can I travel around the world with a few days span."

Arthur looked at Rose and nodded to her. Rose pulled Darwin to the portal and disappeared. Others were amazed to see other side.

" Was that Antarctica?"

Arthur waved his hand.

" Forget that. So let's start."

Arthur left Eric and Charles alone because he was confident about their talents. He brought Havoc to the field and pointed at the wooden dummies.

Havoc grunted.

" That's normal dummies? How can this help me?"

Arthur chuckled.

" If you can break it now, I will give you one million dollars."

Havoc knew Arthur wasn't lying about this deal. He immediately shook his hand.

" Deal. Watch closely."

He used all of his power.

Boom*

The dust has gone up as he grinned.

" Please give my money."

Arthur shook his head and waved his hand.

Swoosh*

The wind blew up the dust as Havoc saw the dummy. His jaw almost hit the floor because it wasn't damaged at all.

Arthur patted his shoulder and laughed evilly.

" Try better next time. Your still too young."

After saying that he brought Banshee to the outside clearing. He said lightly.

" Shadow clone jutsu."

Bang*

His copy appeared and it surprised Hank and Banshee. They never thought Arthur could clone himself.

The clone nodded at him and gestured Banshee to follow. Banshee looked at Arthur and saw his approval. He directly ran after the clone and left to the site.

Lastly, Arthur sat down on the ground and pointed to the tree which was 200 meters away from them.

" Hank, go there and run to me as fast you can. If you come here in 10 seconds, I will give you a pass."

Hank understood this wasn't just a normal test. He figured out Arthur was thinking something that he only knew.

Hank walked to the tree and ran to Arthur, but it wasn't easy. He felt his steps were getting heavier and heavier as he ran nearer to him. He collapsed on the ground as he gasped for the air.

" Ugh, gravity force?"

Arthur opened his mouth and said calmly.

" You are right. By the way, you don't want to lay down there."

Before Hank could ask, he felt danger. A log fell down to him from nowhere. He opened his eyes wide and he got up immediately. He ran back to the tree and saw the log was floating up.

" What kind of sick joke is this?"

Arthur shouted.

" Ah, this is the second training. Instinct training."

Hank almost burst out with foul words. He took a deep breath and ran with his all might. However, that wasn't successful either. The gravity was binding him like his previous try.

A week later.

Arthur was watching Hank with interest. He was only 20 meters away from him. His whole body was covered with fur and he was dodging the logs with accurate movements.

Arthur smiled and clapped.

Boom*

The logs fell down and Hank looked at Arthur with puzzlement. Arthur grinned

" You have done well."
