Chapter 27 Fierce fire

Arthur zoomed the street view through his glasses. He saw a squad which was fighting against 2 men in the house. Obviously, two men were at their loose end. They were cornered like rats in the house.

" Tanya, we have to save them. We can't let them kill our people."

Tanya refused directly. She thought it was a bad idea to intervene because they were severely underhanded and they can't fight against a whole squad with assault rifles.

" Are you out of your mind? They will kill us. This might be a trap which is waiting for us. We will be either killed or captured on the spot."

Although she was right, Arthur had decided to save those people. He guessed that there might be other people hiding in this street. If he doesn't move right now, they will be slaughtered like lifestocks.

Arthur didn't say anything as he pulled out his pistol and activated his camouflage. He ran outside the house and followed along the house.

As for Tanya, she had no choice, but to follow him. Even though she wasn't that happy, she decided to fight and save those people. Hence, she took out her gun and followed him silently.

Duo reached the building next to the fight. Arthur carefully observed his surroundings and found 2 Russian soldiers in the house. He gestured Tanya to take out one of them while he would take one.

Tanya nodded and walked to the kitchen. She saw a young man with a rifle. Honestly, the man didn't look like a soldier. He was sweating and he was anxious because he didn't want to kill other people even if they were Americans.

Tanya saw the man's face and sighed in her mind. She didn't use her pistol as she took our her stun gun. She silently creeped behind him and stunned him on the spot. Then, she searched for a rope which can hold him and she found one to her surprise. She tied him down without any expression and pulled him to the basement. Fortunately gun fight had obstructed the sound which she made. She dragged him all way to the basement and threw him on the ground. After doing that she waited for Arthur.

Meanwhile, Arthur already knocked out the poor soldier. He knew this young man was a newbie from his demeanor. Therefore, he pardoned him.

Of course, Arthur took out a circular tool from his belt. It spit out spider web like thing and Arthur used it to tie him down. He sighed at the poor soldier and lifted him up. He walked downstairs and reached the basement.

" Took you long enough."

Arthur rolled his eyes. He put down the soldier and looked outside through basement window. Thankfully, this is a 6 men squad. Therefore they took out 2 newbies and all that left was 4 soldiers who are probably trained.

Arthur whispered quietly.

" Tanya, go find 2 in the front while I will deal with 2 in the back. You can kill them if it is necessary."

Tanya sighed and took out her pistol. She nodded at him and exited the house. She circled around 3 houses and saw the backyard of the opposite house. She scanned around the house and found no one nearby her.

" Well, this should be fine."

She climbed the fences and reached the building. She saw two men with assault rifles. They seemed to be observing the house where civilians hid inside.

Tanya clicked her tongue and aimed at one of the officer.

Bang*

She directly shoot his leg to neutralize him. On other hand, other man immediately jumped up and tried to shoot her.

Bang*

Tanya shot his chest mercilessly. Unlike video games, soldiers don't shoot head. The man who was shot in the chest immediately fell down.

Meantime Arthur had successfully went behind two Russian soldiers. They were shooting fiercely at two men inside.

" Сука!"

One of them cursed out loud and reloaded his magazine. He slowly reached to his pocket, but what he saw almost scared him to death. He saw a gun pointing to his abdomen and his partner's back. He broke out with cold sweat and raised his head.
