Chapter 45 Free America

The war continued to wage for 2 months. Every major city in America had been destroyed by 40 to 80 percent with an incalculable amount of loss in both the economy and the working force. Even with Russian arsenals, there were countless losses in their army.

" Look at their faces. They are brimming with hope."

Tanya said while patting Arthur's shoulder. Arthur smiled as he walked back to his tent. He was preparing for his grand plan to overthrow the hegemony of the Soviets.

" Gentlemen."

Arthur spoke with a calm tone. He wasn't fazed a little bit in front of the leaders of the US army. He cleared his throat whilst taking down the curtain which was hiding something secret.

" I introduce you to our newest technology."

The board was filled with various photos and blueprints. However, the generals were sitting calmly like they had expected this introduction.

" Our army will lead the world with our most advanced weapon system."

General Ben said with a light tone. He was observing other high-ranking officials because he knew there would be a traitor among them. Particularly, he was suspicious of the navy admirals. The navy was the first force to fall under the Soviet invasion. Moreover, their fall was too strange.

" Please look at the introductions as I will answer your questions."

Arthur said while nodding at Tanya. He was gesturing for her to be on guard since there might be a spy among the people. She put her hands on the handle of her pistols as she observed their expressions. Unfortunately, none of them showed any suspicious movements.

" Professor, could you explain this aircraft? Why does this aircraft have more firing power?"

The air marshal spoke with a respectful tone. He was curious about these new aircraft because they were light, fast, and durable. It was a new generation of aircrafts equipped with more advanced components like ultra-sound radar and powerful engines that can generate speed more than Mach 5 which was more advanced than the current technology.

" Ah, I have added their engine test results on the next page. Likewise, I have copied every information of newly added weapon systems such as new heat-guided missiles, assault rifles, tanks, ships, and submarines, etc."

Arthur said while pointing at the book. The high-ranking generals immediately were hooked up to this book. They silently flipped through the pages to look at the new technologies of their armies. Some even gasped with surprise while others were trying to calm down because they couldn't believe Arthur had invented over 400 new technologies that fundamentally brought a new era.

Especially, they almost couldn't believe their eyes when they saw the new tactical and strategical weapons. Some of them were even devastating like a nuke. Therefore, they quickly took note down.

" Can I ask a question? Why is this tank on the page of tactical weapons? I have never heard of such a powerful tank in my life except for the Soviet's teslic tank."

One of the generals asked with curiosity. His question was clearly in expectation of Arthur as he grinned.

" Simple, the Soviets used Tesla's electric coil to improve their lethality. I took an idea from them. I created a mirror that can bounce off plasma that can generate ultra-high temperatures reaching up to 5000 Celsius. Furthermore, these mirrors are capable of generating that light. Hence, more of these tanks can create a devastating net of light that can take down any ground units and buildings."

Arthur spoke with confidence in his tone. He loved these tanks that challenged his technical knowledge. He even thought these tanks might take down Avengers or JLA if there were the sufficient number of them.

" Not only that, it is fast and fuel efficient. We can utilize the lightning war tactics fully with these units. However, there is one downside. They aren't durable as the Soviet's teslic tanks."

Arthur said lightly. He had to abandon the aspect of defense for speed since he needed faster tanks.

" Magnificent. It is even more greater than Abrams. We might able to suppress their ground units with our new ground units."

The generals clapped with excitement in their eyes. They were sick of the Soviet's absolute domination on the ground.
