Thor looked at his enemy with a solemn look. Although he lost his hammer, he was an experienced fighter who fought against powerful entities for 1500 years. Nevertheless, he wasn't a maniac as before.
" Man, I respect your courage, but you can't against me."
Thor tried to calm down him, but he overestimated the intelligence of the gladiator. He never cared about his life as he wanted to earn his freedom. Hence, he was eager to put down this clown who was inferior to himself.
" Raagh!"
He shouted as he swung down his giant mace. However, Thor's silhouette was nowhere to be seen. He lifted his mace with confusion to comprehend what just happened, but he felt a touch on his shoulder. He gulped as he looked back.
" Told you so."
Thor said, punching his face. The gladiator's face was bloodied by the sudden force and he immediately flew to the wall of the arena. Thor sighed, raising his sword.
" Thunder God!"
The viewers chanted his name with a scream. They threw various things at his feet to commemorate his victory.
" Haha, the winner is Thunder God!"
Grandmaster declared with a delighted expression. He saw a potential cash cow from his face. He was eager to exploit this dumb God from Asgard.
" Look, I told you he would win."
Loki said, twirling his wine glass. Unlike his poor brother, he was using his communication skill to the maximum level.
" Indeed, I like him. He should be another champion of mine."
Grandmaster commented with greed in his eyes. He gestured his men to move as he observed the trickster God with a grin. He knew this God wasn't simple as he looks. He was a poisonous viper that lures his enemies into his trap.
" As I promised, I will give you your chamber and right to trade. All you have to do is make me richer."
Grandmaster extended his olive branch to him, risking his future. Loki smiled as he kissed his hand with a flattering look.
In the training room.
Thor was looking around himself with puzzlement. His condition has improved by a few levels. He got his chamber and he wasn't chained like before.
" Well, it's isn't that bad. Now, all that is left is to leave this planet and go back to Asgard."
Thor was thinking about how to gain the trust of the Grandmaster.
Swoosh*
Suddenly, the door was opened. A woman with white armor came inside while biting an apple. She scanned around the room with curiosity.
" Wow, you are looking good for a slave who was sold."
She said with a sarcastic look on her face. Thor's face twitched with embarrassment and anger, even so, he held back his anger because he doesn't hit women.
" Who are you?"
Thor asked with suspicion since she opened the door with the keys. She was probably a high-ranking officer or a person who could potentially help him.
" They call me Brun. Well, technically I was the person who sold you here."
Brunhilde said, biting down the apple. Her sharp gaze was carefully observing Thor since he was the child of Allfather.
Thor's eyebrows creased down with fury, he felt rage boiling inside him with a hinge of embarrassment. He took a deep breath to calm down his chaotic mind.
" What do you want?"
He asked with a cold tone to freeze the room's temperature. His voice tingled the sadistic nature of Brunhilde, but she held it down since she wanted an act of revenge.
" Your next fight would be against the champion. I just wanted to wish you luck."
Brunhilde said, waving her hand. She was looking forward to seeing his face when he was beaten to a pulp. Of course, she wouldn't say this to him since he was clueless about his next opponent.
He simply shrugged his shoulders as he wore his helmet. He knew he was invincible in this arena. No one could beat him except for a few singularities, gods, and so on.
Thor heard the familiar sound of drums as approached the stage. His heart was thumping with excitement and urgency.
" We welcome the Thunder God!"
Grandmaster chanted his name in his loud voice. Thor opened his eyes as he looked at the audience.
