Chapter 24 Welcome to my club!p

The bright blonde hair shone under dim light, showing a handsome face that could charm almost every woman, but Arthur who was the embodiment of a demon, also had such a good face. He stood there, observing every move of Lucifer who gave off the vibe that he could kill anyone in this situation.

" You! Why are you here, Lucifer?"

Constantine was paled when he saw Lucifer who was scheming something. He knew this devil was the strongest and it was impossible to beat him. Only Arthur might escape from here, but Diana and Constantine were out of the question.

" Relax, John. I haven't done anything yet. All I wanted was to talk with my brethren like a human. You have similar power to us. No, it is like an iron copy of us. How did you do that? Did you perhaps find a way to steal the demon's power and why do you have the same power as me now? I remember you used to have the power of Satan."

Lucifer asked endlessly, showing his curiosity in the matter. The feeling of curiosity was much more powerful than his kinship. Besides, except for Mazikeen who is his ally, he saw others as a nuisance in his way. Even his brothers and sisters pestered him a lot in the past.

" I just have it. I can summon out 7 devil kings' power inside me and channel it as my own since they are practically my forms. Although I can use other forms like vampire or dragon, my will is kind of affected by the core of transformation. You can feel it, right?"

Arthur canceled his transformation, explaining to Lucifer who was writing down it on the note. He was smiling to his ears because he got to know something useful. The idea of possessing such techniques fascinated him who was trying to find a way to get rid of his father's influence on his life.

" I like you, Arthur. I used to watch all kinds of news and you were one of the main talks of the people since you were regarded as the strongest human on the planet, surpassing Flash and others. Superman might be powerful, but he is an alien after all. Here, take this. I am waiting for you tonight."

Lucifer handed a name card to him, believing Arthur would visit him. The thought of escaping from heaven's eyes made him ecstatic and specifically he was sick of his brother Amenadiel.

" Hmm, I will visit you when I have time, but unfortunately currently I am occupied and I have no time slot for meetings. I have to go to different places and stabilize a few things since my role is important."

Arthur refused the invitation for now. Thankfully, that didn't offend Lucifer. He just waved his hand, disappearing into the darkness again.

" Phew, that was a close one. Even I can't guess his mind sometimes. Lucifer thinks things too deeply and I had a few encounters with him before. Man, those were not good memories. I rather want to forget them."

Constantine pulled his tie down, squatting on the ground with a tired expression. He was sick of being a dealer with demons, but what he could do? He was the one after all.

" Mate, do you have a cigarette? I am out of it."

Constantine asked for a cigarette, rubbing his temple with stress. He didn't know how to explain the situation to Zatanna or his friends since he couldn't tell Arthur was a demon. They would think of him as a lunatic.

" You are in luck. I have a good one."

Arthur threw a box of Marlboro to him, knowing this man liked this brand. Constantine was delighted to see a box of Marlboro and it seemed to be a limited one. Particularly, it had an AF sign on it, indicating it was made for Arthur.

Arthur only used cigarettes to give them as a gift to others. He orders companies to make special types of cigarettes for him for a high price and he gives them to people.

" Huu! Man, this is a bloody good one. How much does it cost?"

Constantine was curious about its price, believing this cigarette was worth to buy it. The richness and aroma were spot on and he liked the heavy feeling.

" Just a few hundred bucks. I have plenty of other brands."

Arthur said casually, throwing Constantine's face on the floor. He smiled bitterly, knowing he couldn't afford one.
