Side chapter 2 Task force 141

" Ain't nothing but a big shit. I should have slept through the day if I knew this was going to be this hard."

Roach said, taking off the dirt from his face. He had been working for 3 days without any rest since they got a red signal near Russia. Their intel said that someone was buying commissioned ballistic missiles from the former General of the Soviets and Russia wanted to deal with them. They also sent their military unit to work with them in the extreme condition of Siberia. The cold area of the North was heavily guarded by the former Soviet extremists that opposed current leaders, Loyalists. This caused a huge rift in the political world of the Russian Federation as the Supreme Commander of Russia was in a bad situation.

He had to execute countless people for their treason, but each of those criminals gave back a huge backlash on his career. Thus, making him unable to move unless he gets rid of them secretly. However, that was impossible under the watchful eye of NATO nations aka allied countries.

Furthermore, China was getting more aggressive as it continued to use its massive financial power to control its internal affairs. Hence, the president of the federation was extremely busy.

As a neutral city, Eden was backed by heroes and super-powered individuals. Therefore, countries like the UK, Russia, China, Japan, Australia, South Korea, and Arabian countries were supporting them to move around the globe more freely.

Especially task Force 141 was the face card of Eden and they had participated in countless missions that ensured the safety of other countries.

" Здраствуйте!"

Three Russian men with AKs came to them with a smile. Price immediately recognized them as they fought together before this mission.

" Kamarov, Nikolai and Yuri. Are you guys going with us?"

He asked, sighing with relief. The teamwork was extremely important in this mission and he was afraid of losing his members because of underwhelming teamwork.

" Da, my friend. The president gave us a special mission to accompany you guys and stop the terrorists. He said he needed stealth, so super-powered people were out of the question."

Kamarov explained, bringing clarity to others. Task Force 141 consisted of mainly 5 countries. Hence, they were familiar with the top soldiers of each country.

" What about China? I heard they were interested in joining in since they were looking for ways to expand their influence in both Russia and Eden."

Soap asked, showing his curiosity in the matter. No matter what he thought, China wouldn't miss this chance. Especially, after the return of Arthur, they were persistent to cooperate with them as they saw Arthur as the new focal point of the world.

Arthur was the most recognized hero and he was a business tycoon as well as a noble and clan leader in the UK and Italy, making him a hugely influential figure in the political world.

Additionally, Arthur would always voice his opinions about the USA, so China saw him as an ally rather than a neutral figure or enemy. They believed Arthur's ideology was similar to theirs and they were expecting much in the future.

Contrary, the royal family and the round table were protective of Arthur. They regarded him as their own and they even raised his noble rank to count to diminish other country's interests.

" Well, let's talk about it later. What have we on the hand?"

Price said, biting down his cigar with a serious face. He understood why Russia had blocked China and why they had to be stealthy.

" As I mentioned before, they have a large number of soldiers. Approximately 176 soldiers were equipped with the most modern weapons and tactical tools to boost their action. Additionally, they are seasoned veterans, so it is a suicide mission. Therefore, we will go under the base and tunnel up. All kinds of communication must be muted and we had to wear Counter UAV suits."

Yuri said, showing an image of a big base. They also saw ready-to-fly drones and UAVs which meant above-ground was a no go.

" Any snipers on their side?"

Ghost asked lightly, knowing snipers could pose a significant threat to them since they have no support in this mission.

" For our knowledge, none. However, we had to quickly take out them and leave the site before the federation bombs us with carpets."

Nikolai replied seriously, shaking his head.
