Chapter 34 Heroic justice vs Absolute Justice

" Get out of my way, star, or else face the wrath of justice."

Kayle looked at Arthur with cold eyes. Justice was bound to happen whether she wanted it or not, but he was obstructing her movements for some reason and she didn't appreciate it.

" Well, you see I have promised that I would leave them alone to settle things between them and I believe you have another ulterior move since I am here."

Arthur analyzed the situation, believing this woman had a different goal in her mind because she stood indifferently during the war and she suddenly hopped in when he joined the war.

Thus, he suspected she wanted something from him. However, that looked impossible due to her aggressive attitude, and no matter how he looked at her he was sure that she would bring calamity in the name of justice like his subordinate.

" ... "

Kayle silently gazed at him, raising her swords to slash him, but as a celestial, she wasn't willing to fight against a fellow celestial who had similar power to her. She saw Arthur's eyes were able to judge people and he was just, but nothing like her or her sister. He adhered to principles not compassion or absolution.

" Sigh* So this is your answer."

Arthur sighed, summoning his zanpaktou from nothingness. The stars blinked at his power and reacted to his callings. The greatest aspect was facing the young daughter of one of the oldest aspects.

Without any words, nature and the sky roared with rage, blowing out huge torrential power to Kayle who was basking in bright light. She cried out with warcry, facing against the incoming energy with her energy, creating a huge impact that leveled the ground beneath them.

Their powers shook the area, causing large-scale of destruction. The sky was burning with flames and so did the ground. No living being dared to intervene in the battle of gods, knowing they would perish in the process. Hence, they prayed it would end soon.

Arthur kicked Kayle in the abdomen while grabbing her wing. Then he threw her to the ground, so hard that she bled out first time in the last centuries. Her blood trickled down to her eyes, painting her beautiful face with blood, but she was accustomed to it. Her justice was more important than her health.

" Divine Judgement!"

The golden sword rained down from the sky, making Arthur use his power to protect the people. However, he couldn't fully cover himself as Kayle cut his arms which excited Arthur. He didn't have a good battle after Thanos, so he was amused to fight against her, but as a hero, he was obligated to protect people. Therefore, even in his fight, he protected them with his power.

" Good! I will show you the wrath of stars!"

Arthur laughed, showing his white teeth. The sky cried with his command, bringing forth the destruction that Kayle had never seen before. His cosmic beings rained down on her, creating a large crater on the ground.

The fury of the stars strokes down the brightest justice with the flames from the cosmos. The wail of the sky summoned the one whom Kayle was expecting to see.

Morgana rose before Arthur, blocking his move with her shield to save her sister. She knew Arthur wouldn't kill her, but even so, she was her sister. There was no way she would leave her alone.

" Another one. Tell me, are you a friend of hers?"

Arthur glanced at her coldly, observing both of them. Kayle was badly injured despite her power while other was able to block her.

" I am her sister and a person whom she was looking for. Can you leave her alone? She is a little stubborn."

Morgana revealed her identity, making Arthur fall into thoughts. He wasn't an unreasonable person, so he decided to leave this as this since he could defeat her.

" Leave me alone, sister. Your meddling caused this mess and you knew the wickedness of them. They need purification."

Kayle said coldly, getting up from the ground. She was injured, but even so, she never showed her weakness to Arthur. She was an agent of justice and she wouldn't compromise to anyone.

" Stop it, Kayle. Do you want to start a war between celestials?"

Morgana warned her.
