Chapter 58 Gilgamesh

Boom*

The factory exploded as a blonde stepped out with a cold face from the rumbles. He dusted his armor while pulling out a boy from the ground with a cold face. The boy didn't seem to care about his gaze as he checked his guns whether they were working or not because they were the most important things in his eyes and he knew this old man wouldn't die even if he was besieged by A-level villains.

" You destroyed their entire factory to find the clue. How are gonna report this to the administration office, old man?"

Billy asked calmly while looking for survivors to interrogate. His eyes scanned around the rumbles and saw nothing but a few pieces of stone and steel mixed with flesh and blood.

" Tsk, who would have thought these mongrels would send a suicide squad to kill us?"

Gilgamesh replied while clicking his tongue coldly. He didn't want to kill them since they were from enemy forces and he could get valuable information if he sent them to Eden, but they didn't poison themselves or something like that, they hid explosives inside their bodies and exploded when they lost against them.

" Only bunches of Hydra would do something like this stupid. It is pretty much confirmed that they had joined in the alliance."

Billy said lightly, smiling with a serious face, but Gilgamesh could tell this boy was hiding something malicious behind his smile. Perhaps, only a few could see through the real Billy the Kid who kills others mercilessly without a blink.

He was one of the exterminator units who solely existed to destroy things that would bring forth destruction. In other words, he was an executioner who was dispatched to hunt down the criminals who stole the books.

" We will return to the city and send other groups since our powers are beyond this level. We are causing harm than benefit."

Gilgamesh spoke with indifference whilst opening the space portal to the city. Bill seemed to relax his body as he followed him from behind. He lowered his hat to hide his eyes as they entered the giant city hall building where guardians gathered to meet.

Swoosh*

" Good afternoon, district head. Did you find the culprits?"

The elevator worker smiled when he saw Gilgamesh. Honestly, he knew everyone in this building, including original Avengers and servants who frequently visited the building for their jobs. Therefore, he had pretty close relationships with all guardians despite their status and most importantly he knew things that other lower-level workers didn't know.

" Unfortunately, they escaped yet again. They are good at hiding their trails. What about other units?"

Gilgamesh asked with a little gentle tone unlike before. Even so, his arrogance could still be seen on his face as he faced him.

" Extermination and newly created justice units are still idle due to expansion. Task forces and other units were sent to various locations to complete mostly logistical tasks."

He spoke calmly while opening the door. Gilgamesh nodded at his words as he handed him a tip for his good work. Billy and he directly headed to the central office where Hill was located with a few other important officials.

Open*

The automatic door sensed their presence and connected to its bio-sensory in just a second as it identified them.

" Ah, welcome back. How were the things?"

Hill asked gently while sorting some documents with a man with long hair and Hank who was apparently hired for a few days due to shortage of manpower.

" It appears Hydra is working with them. They even sent a kamikaze squad to mess around us like fools."

Gilgamesh said with a sharp look, planning he would destroy their bases later on just to have his revenge. A long-haired man seemed to understand his intentions as he put down the files with a calm face.

" I understand, we will immediately find out about Hydra and their bases to deploy the punishment unit. If things go to full-scale war, we will deploy both justice and exterminator units to clean them out."

Zhuge Liang replied, showing his determination to get things back. As one of the head officials, he had iron rules that he didn't allow anyone to violate.
