Chapter 85 Blood hurling howl

The rampage of vampires continued as the battlefield became even more bloody. The scattered limbs of vampires, humans, and robots decorated the streets, showing the casualty of both sides.

No matter how powerful the heroes were, they couldn't go everywhere and protect soldiers from the vampires. Although casualties were minimal, the horrific look of their corpses made soldiers repulsed and angry.

They angrily shouted and shot while thinking they were avenging their comrades. Hundreds of vampires were as powerful as the modern army since they could equip themselves.

" Center, center. Fire at 12 o'clock!"

The commanding officer gave out a command that specifically targeted enemy ranger units. The roaring of shells hit the building, destroying it without much problem. The rumbles of the building fell to the vampire vanguard.

Even so, thousands of vampires tenaciously pushed the human army back with their regeneration ability alone.

" These fucking zombies!"

Hankoy slammed down his table with clear anger in his eyes. He was fuming from the sheer anger that he felt from them because he sacrificed so many for this war. The faces of casualties and the number on his sheet were enough to make him go crazy.

" What is taking it so long? At this rate, we might as well demolish the entire Berlin to save some funds for both the army and people."

His words weren't without truth. The money was draining down like a river of Amazon. A huge financial burden would surely affect their future battles against villains and the Russian coalition.

" General, Lord Solomon is ready. He said we had to move out personnel in 10 minutes before activation of the spell."

General slumped down on the chair as he took the radio. He immediately relayed his command to retreat and secure the people on their way. The bitter taste still lingered in his mouth despite his achievements.

Meanwhile on the battlefield.

A giant magic circle appeared out of nowhere right above the city. The vampires couldn't fathom what was happening to them but they decided to hasten up as the blood cocoons moved rigorously under their gazes.

" Feast, my children! Bring glory to our God!"

The elder vampires laughed with a mad face, looking at the disfigured vampires that were crawling out from the cocoons. The fishy smell of blood hit his nose, exciting him even more since he could win this war.

" Solar extinction!"

Suddenly a young man appeared above them as he pushed down a miniature sun toward them. His gorgeous blonde hair swayed in the wind as he looked at the vampires like he was looking at the bugs. His golden eyes were filled with the brilliance of the sun.

" I have been sleeping for a long time, but you bastard woke me up! You shall fear the sun!"

Apollo who turned back to his human form, descended to the street while gesturing soldiers to retreat. Paris ran next to him as he sighed, the sheer power of the legendary hero and highest divine God was enough to obliterate the city, but they couldn't do that due to a few reasons, namely their seal and purpose.

Sun power was enough to leave this place in ashes and give countless dollars in debt to Eden.

" If it was our home, I could blast them off with ease, alas this isn't our home."

Apollo shook his head while looking at the spell. His golden eyes shone with divine light, penetrating deep into the realm of magic as he calculated the remaining time.

" Paris, we have to leave now. The spell is almost ready..."

Before he finished words, a bloody wave crushed down to him, dyeing his golden armor with red. Furious Apollo looked at the man or a monster who was crawling out from the building.

" You impudent bastard! HOW DARE YOU!"

The solar light illuminated the city, flashing everyone's eyes, but the monster laughed with an eerie look.

" If I drink the blood of the sun, wouldn't I become immune to divine power?"

Blood God licked his lips with amusement to the horror of others. This went beyond the realm of mortals as two gods gazed at each other. One was the benevolent high God of the Sun while the other was the evil God of darkness.
