Chapter 94 To capture the phantom

A few days before.

Stryker was reading all known individuals of Eden through the collection of the government database and other sources. He found most of them were ridiculously powerful and they were still growing at an incredible phase. Furthermore, they had a special task force that consisted the members of former elite forces of governments and he knew most of them were infamous.

" This is quite troublesome."

The fact that Avengers and other heroes were troublesome enough, yet he had to figure out how to defeat all these people with his personnel. That was on another level.

Fortunately, he collected an ample amount of data from the weapon X project and he was preparing to try something anew.

" Sentinels! They should be able to kill most of them. I can't guarantee high-level individuals, but mid and low-levels will be killed easily. The problem is their mechanic army and androids. Moreover, there are a few super artificial intelligences in their arsenal. I need to create a rival to stop them."

Stryker pulled out two files from his drawer, looking at the two symbols with a complicated look. He wasn't sure this would help him, but he knew this would attack the impenetrable database of Eden.

" I hope I am doing the right thing."

He plugged the two disks into different computers that were isolated from outside servers that could detect them. He saw the same lines on the screen.

" Where am I?"

Back to the present.

Pietro looked at the being in front of him with horror because he should have been killed by Vision, but he was standing in front of him with his cold face.

" Long time no see, Pietro. You matured."

The robot opened his mouth, looking at him with indifference. However, somehow he felt anger and bloodlust in his mechanical voice.

" You should be dead, Ultron! We killed you!"

Pietro spoke loudly, not believing in his eyes. The robot laughed at his remark, clutching his stomach to mimic humans.

" You think you can kill me that easily. You see I saved my data before fighting you. I believed the artificial intelligence of that era could kill me easily, so I created a backup plan. I never imagined I would end up in the hand of Ross, but I am glad it was him. I was able to make a deal with them in exchange for my freedom. All I need to do is capture every single one of you, the guardians."

Ultron explained calmly, grinning with his cold face. He restructured himself, using the most advanced technology in the US with the greatest metals that far surpassed his previous self. Furthermore, he strengthened his data to protect himself from the attacks of super-artificial intelligences.

" Also, I met a few friends. It appears that you aren't a simple super-powered person. You are more like a mutant."

Ultron rubbed his chin, pointing at him as a few robots flew down. They aimed their hands at him as they muttered the same sentence.

" Surrender or die."

Pietro felt his blood was running cold as he realized Stryker was prepared to deal with him with everything that he had in his storage.

" Damn!"

He turned around and tried to flee, but he was shot down by Ultron. He then grabbed Pietro who was struggling to run with his cold metal hand and dragged him to the cage where he threw him in.

" You will never win against me, Pietro. Even with your super speed, you knew you couldn't defeat us because we would use a laser to kill you."

Ultron mocked Pietro for his naive side. Realistically, Pietro could use a super sonic punch or create wind, but in the process, he would be rendered defenseless, so running was the logical choice. However, Ultron calculated this miles ago and was ready to strike him down.

" Good job, Ultron."

Stryker grinned, looking at Pietro who was glaring at him with cold eyes. He then chuckled as he hit the bar.

" The great Quicksilver was caught by me. Even you can't outrun the speed of the computer. I wonder what kind of weapon I can make with your genes. You will be a fine addition to my collection."

Stryker grinned evilly, imagining a room filled with the costumes of the mutants that he hunted.
