Chapter 105 Deviants

Slurp*

A large man drank his drink as he looked at the man who was sitting opposite him with a carefree expression.

" I never imagined I would meet one of the greatest heroes on the planet. I heard you can heal almost everyone."

The map opened his mouth to a serious face, looking at Arthur. His eyes were filled with genuine emotions and hope which were familiar to Arthur.

He put down the cup that he was holding and got up from his seat whilst others were observing him with different faces because they didn't tell him one thing and that was an important secret among them, so they couldn't openly tell him.

" You must care about that person a lot. I understand why you didn't mention him or her in Eden."

Arthur shook his head with a smile, believing this was the chance for his payment to his life savior.

It didn't take long to find a woman whom Gilgamesh was referring to as Arthur himself in a dilemma because this woman was in a tricky situation.

She was indeed mentally ill but she could also cure it by herself but she didn't do it for some reason and Arthur couldn't force her to do so.

The woman had beautiful golden hair and pure white clothes but Arthur could tell she was a dangerous individual who was probably stronger than most of them. Despite losing her mind, her aura was in line with those of the higher authority of Eden which meant she was a planetary level threat.

" You are the end!"

Suddenly, she grabbed Arthur while looking into his eyes with her white eyes that spooked him because he knew some

something was abnormal about her ability.

He was sensitive to mystic power and he could tell this was a mystic power. Perhaps it was related to her state but her well-being came first, so he had to erase this power.

" Although I don't know if it would work on you, look into my eyes."

His blue eyes slowly turned golden, as symbols appeared in them. Before mastering his abilities, his bloodline and soul were mixed with various factors in his body, so he was able to use multiple abilities, including the ability to see his soul and mend it.

" What is your trauma?"

Arthur's mind entered her mind, looking around the place with a calm face. He saw the ancient buildings with ancient people who were worshipping them as gods.

" Are you afraid of yourself?"

Arthur found himself, looking at her image with a deep look. The loneliness on her face showed she was experiencing something in her heart, but she didn't tell anyone what she was experiencing as she stood silently.

Arthur raised his arms, changing the mental image back to where everything had started and he saw something terrible.

" I see."

A sigh escaped from his mouth, looking at her with a hinge of pity in his eyes. In his eyes, she had lost every meaning of her sanity and peace along with her innocence and justice. She was burdened by her past, specifically her feelings were gnawing her mind to the point where she no longer wanted to recall those painful memories.

" I know you are here. Why didn't you accept the outcome? It was predestined to happen in the first place."

Arthur turned his head around, looking at Thena with a calm face. The air between them solidified as she shook her head with confusion.

" I couldn't overcome it no matter how hard I tried. I know everyone is trying their best, especially Gilgamesh who saw me as his family, but I couldn't overcome my grief and guilt."

Her shoulders trembled with anguish as she sat on the ground with a guilty face.

Arthur sat next to her, pointing to his head as Thena saw memories in his mind. She saw the terrible loneliness and despair, yet he never gave up as he always triumphed over them with a smile unlike her.

" No one is perfect. Even though I am not perfect, that doesn't mean I have to give up now. I will try and try despite my failure. Struggling is our means to live and I believe you can escape from here. Come on!"

He reached his hand to her.
