Chapter 209 Timelines

" Time is too dangerous to take control."

Arthur believed no one should mess with time out of his sheer fear of destruction. He witnessed what could time do in the first place and controlling such a thing was too dangerous.

There was nothing such as a perfect controller, specifically a powerful element like time could cause devastation throughout the entire multiverse even if it was intended to be used in one place. Time was an omnipresence element that could alter everything in existence.

Old Peter fell into silence after hearing his answer, thinking about his words carefully because he realized Arthur might actually know about time traveling by his looks and he was sure that Arthur knew the consequences of it.

Meanwhile in Arthur's world.

Crack, boom*

A sinister being slowly crawled out from the deep of the space. It came to this planet with sheer luck, avoiding the hunt of its predators. No, it's archnemesis from the deep of the space.

Hiss*

The acidic drool dropped on the ground, revealing its hideous appearance to the world. A jet-black creature with a humongous body and long double tongue that would bite its prey off.

Open*

The explorers who saw the ship landing, opened the door with a careful move while expecting corpses around them but when they saw the creature their bodies froze in their place.

" Roar!"

The creature didn't hesitate to grab one of the men while swinging its tail to other humans in the vicinity. They were pitifully weak and it was time to prey. No one could predict such a monster would be here and it would dodge the eyes of Eden, but one thing was sure. This was just the beginning of its evolution.

In somewhere near Madagascar.

" The portal is ready to summon."

Einzbern scientist handed the summoning magic control to Madame Viper who played it like it was nothing. She knew this was the key to their war in the upcoming battle.

" Did you find it?"

Dracula who was sitting on the chair, looked at Batonny with a cold face while others in the room also pricked their ears, expecting to hear a piece of good news.

" Yes, I found the shard of it. If we can activate its dormant power, it should be able to summon all of its shards to this planet and create a diversion for us."

The green-looking shard shone on her palms, showing its mighty power once it had. This gem should be destroyed by its wielder, yet as one of the first primordial creations, it was still here, and worst of all, the villains could harness its power since it lost its protection.

" What about the titan? Did you find his remains?"

Lex who was sitting on one of the chairs, asked with a calm face. The mad titan was one of the core beings for his plan and he was ready to bring him back from his rest as he was the only being who could effortlessly fight the Avengers by himself.

" Yes, it wasn't easy. I had to pay some fortune to get his sample and his order's DNA record. Xandar was keeping a close eye on their remains."

A veiled man handed the sample to Lex who was smiling with anticipation because his lineup was almost complete. He created a weapon to handle most of the JLA members and Avengers. Servants would be battling servants and, Azeroth and Runeterra champions would fight the summons which meant he would be victorious. The only problem was Strange and Arthur who kept the space formation of this planet in their hands along with Wong.

These three sorcerers were main the issue for the summoning magic and he had to distract them.

" Did she get the item?"

Lex asked the pale-looking man with a serious voice while the latter didn't say much. He just showed the image of a woman who was holding a scarlet book. Her veins bulged around her eyes and a sinister aura rose from her body.

" Grief is a such powerful tool. Who would have thought we would gain such a powerful sorcerer in our palm?"

Thawne chuckled when he saw the corrupted woman, knowing the day of destruction was approaching. It was either them or the heroes.
