Chapter 69 King of Land

" Impossible."

Namor said with bewilderment, not understanding how this man was able to harness the power of vibranium this perfectly. Not only he rebound his energy, but he even amplified it to injure him.

" Do you still wish to fight king of the sea?"

T'challa held his spear in his hand, looking down at his face with a calm tone. Namor pondered for a moment before deciding to retreat for now since he lacked intel on them. He wasn't a fool who would dive into enemy territory to die miserable even though he was confident in his strength.

" We shall meet again, King of Land."

He submerged into the water as T'challa's helmet retracted back to his suit. He then helped his people, disarming the soldiers while apprehending those with ill intent.

" Seems like everything is over. You ok brother?"

Shuri retracted her helmet to look at T'challa who was still observing the sea with a complicated face. The nano suit in his claws was damaged by the impact of them and he could tell Namor was strong.

Perhaps, he was strong enough to destroy the entire city by himself but that didn't matter to him. His goal was to keep the peace and safeguard the vibranium with his people.

" I will have a conversation with Arthur, regarding these people. I don't think they are friendly toward us."

T'challa could tell Namor hated the land people with his all heart and he was aiming to kill him during their fight. So, it was obvious that his people would follow their King which meant they would bare their fangs toward them.

" I heard Eden is busy these days. Lord Arthur himself came over from New York and he had to solve multiple problems by himself to guard the globe.

A recent resurgence of the supervillains caused enough chaos in every corner of this world."

T'challa frowned at her words, knowing Wakanda wouldn't be safe either. They were just recovering from the time fragment incident and now someone was aiming for his people in the shadows.

" Then Wakanda will help. His help was invaluable to us and we regard his nation as our closest ally. I won't allow any mishap to them."

T'challa's voice was firm and filled with bravery that suited for the king.

Meanwhile in Eden

" The chaos is close to us. The wind of war is blowing. We must arm ourselves with power that is enough to crush our enemies."

Nobunaga pointed at the screen whilst the members of Guardian listened with different faces.

" Gorr the God Butcher is lurking in the shadow to hunt my people. Olympus had refused to help us."

Thor also showed the picture of his mortal enemies, signaling the first struggle between them and the gods.

" Furthermore, we also believe they are hiding something in the Atlantic Ocean to avoid our eyes."

The murmur grew bigger when Fury presented the last issue to them.

" Does that mean not only this world's villains are gathering, we also have our foes to face? How did they get their hands on our technology?"

Hal asked with a calm face, believing someone betrayed their trust and surely he was right on the mark.

" We believe there were certain individuals who migrated to their side. Also, we found traces of our old enemy- Ultron."

The image of Ultron came up with various analyses of his abilities. To high beings like servants, he wasn't much deal but middle or low-level fighters would struggle against him if they faced him.

Furthermore, he was high intelligent being who was evolving constantly. His program was getting better and better at killing every single human on this planet.

" It is concerning that our foe is walking among us. Perhaps we have to start a wide range operation to track them down."

Caitlyn believed they could track them down but her suggestion faced a few issues. Firstly no country would allow super-powered individual to roam on their soil without observation. Secondly, this would cause mass mistrust between the heroes and the people.

" What if we use magic?"

Zatanna asked lightly, thinking magic might help her but that wasn't also feasible.

" We suspect they have high-ranking mages who could conceal their tracks. Furthermore, it was evident that lords of other dimensions were intervening, including someone like Scarlet King."

Arthur replied to her suggestion, believing it was difficult to use magic.
