010 Finding Eina.

D_Ep10

"It's been five days right? Bell?"

"Yep. Long time no see?"

"Long time no see my foot! FIVE days, Bell! Why did you not come here even ones before going to the dungeon? Am I really that useless to you? Do you know just how worried I was this whole time? I even thought you had died inside the dungeon already!"

The half elf, Eina stands in front of Bell, both hands on her waist as she glares at him angrily.

To better understand what is going on here, we have to get back a few hours ago, before Bell came into this place to look for Eina.

Bell was waken up by suspicious sounds. A series of ting and tang sounds along with some grey colored smoke coming from the kitchen -- it was as if there is a war still going on in there.

It's tragic.

However, Bell knew exactly what is probably going on in there. And he's both grateful and afraid.

'Seems like she's into it again today.'

Bell ignored those sounds and started arranging the pillows and quilts he and his Hestia used last night.

"Here Bell. Eat up eat up!" Hestia put down two plates of food on the table, one for her and one for Bell.

"What kind of witchcraft it is this time, Goddess?"

Chop!

Hestia sent a Divine chop on Bell's head.

"Moah. You are so rude, Bell. Stop complaining and just eat up already. I tried my very best to cook all of these food for you."

Tried your best? For making poison perhaps?

Bell gave a very reluctant looked at the 'black' scrambled eggs and bacon strips in front of him. He's trying to guess if they dark chocolate flavored perhaps?

Because he had happened to get his hands into quite a lot of those beans a few days ago. The only thing that was done right are the fried potatoes - Hestia's specialty.

Bell picked that up with his one hand and a bacon strips on the other hand.

"How's the taste, Bell?" Hestia nervously asked while looking at him. She hasn't touch her food yet but continue watching him eat.

"This is actually better than yesterday, Goddess."

"Really?"

"Yes. So eat your food already."

Though Hestia's food can't really be called as 'delicious' yet, they are still edible and isn't actually poisonous.

"Oh by the way, Goddess."

Bell stopped his footsteps when he's about to head upstairs, he looked at Hestia who's currently washing the dishes.

"Can you give me some of those chocolate treats we made 5 days ago? I wanted to give it to someone---- as a peace offering. Hope it will save my ears away from pain."

Hestia nodded and paused what she's doing for a moment before heading towards the cabinet. She came back carrying a transparent tightly sealed small glass container and there are some bite size chocolates in different shapes inside. She handed it to Bell with one question.

"What ear pain?"

"Sigh. Will tell you later. See yah." Bell finally took his leave.

At the guild.

"Good morning, Misha. Is Eina here?"

Misha Flott----- Eina's coworker and friend. She got to know Bell through Eina too so she recognized him.

It's still quite early in the morning so there isn't that much people inside the guild yet.

"Bell, you are finally here." Misha simply smiled as she watched the approaching boy coming towards her. "Tsk tsk. Let me tell you this Bell, you are definitely screwed this time."

Her words and tone are full of genuine concern but Bell can see on her face that she was enjoying this. That she's laughing at his possible upcoming misfortune!

"Was it that bad?" Bell laughed embarrassly. "You're are joking right, Misha?"

"Not at all. Who told you to make Eina angry? None of us here would dare to do that, never."

Angry? But I never really did anything wrong. Right?

Bell felt like he's having a headache.

"So, where's Eina now?"

"She's not here, today is her day off. But she told us that if ever you did show up today, we will tell you to meet her at.... yes, this place." Misha handed a piece of paper to Bell before adding. " That's the address to Eina's place. I suggest you go there immediately before she gets angrier at you?"

Bell looked at the paper and read the address written on it. It's not far, probably fifteen to twenty minutes walk from here. Bell said his goodbye to Misha and went to see Eina.

"Are you really sorry, Bell?" Eina asked again in similar tone.

"I do. I even brought this thing for you. I hope you like it, Eina."

".."

"They are chocolate. Please try, I hope you will like them."

"Chocolate?" Eina opened the lid and took out a small piece, she looked at it for few moments before finally putting it inside her mouth. "This is.."

A fragrant smell and sweet taste burst inside her mouth as the chocolate melts. Eina can't think of the perfect word to describe it but.. she find them very delicious. This is the first time she tasted something like this.

"What is this, Bell? It is... Delicious."

"Right? I'm glad you liked it, Eina. I hope you will let me sli-."

"No way!" Eina quickly denied. "Though I admit that this is very delicious, but they definitely won't be able let you off just like that."

Eina carefully put down the rest of the chocolates on the table before looking at Bell.

"Why did you not look for me all these days? I am your dungeon adviser, you are my first client, I hope you should see me everytime you went back or before going inside the dungeon." Eina's eyes started to get moist, feeling wronged.

"You never reported to the guild for 5 days now without even bothering to tell me why. When I asked the exchange division, they told me that you also didn't come to sell your magic cores. Why?"

In normal circumstances, an adventurer not reporting for five or more days in guild or to their dungeon adviser should not be a problem at all. That's actually pretty normal.

Perhaps it's because that certain adventurer had joined an expedition inside the dungeon that will take a long time to finish or perhaps, went out of orario or even simply decided to take a rest, a vacation perhaps.

There's a lot of reasons out there for that to happen and only too few adventurers will tell their dungeon advisers about those plans in advance. The dungeon advisers would also tend to simply brushed it off as it will save them some troubles because less consultation means less work for them.

But it's very different for Eina.

She always takes everything, especially her work very seriously. Bell was her first client, that alone makes him kinda special already in some way. She cared for him and didn't want anything bad to happen to him.

But five days ago, she suddenly lost contact with him. Eina first thought that Bell only took a day off or so, to take a rest. But same thing happened the next day, then the next and next. This made Eina very worried.

So she decided to looked for the files, the guild records hoping to see if she could find something or anything about Bell there but, there's none. She found nothing. There's not even a record of him selling his monster call there!

Eina has been planning to go and visit Hestia if Bell had not showed up today. To asked what's going on.

"What are you staring at? Why are you not answering my questions?"

"Erm...Sorry for staring, but... You look very beautiful today, Eina."

"Y-you!! Be serious!" she replied with a pout and fierce glare. But her face still turned a little red, her heartbeat quickened.

"I'm really sorry, Eina but I'm very busy these past days so I never went to the guild."

Eina frowned after hearing that. "Busy? And what made you very busy? Enough to not even have time to remind me in advance?"

Bell let out a helpless sigh before he started explaining. But of course, keep some of the very important things.

Seven days have passed since Bell went shopping with Hestia. And two days after that, his first cheat skill, the 'Realis Phrase' had finally appeared. Of course Hestia kept it away from him and told him the same excuse about her finger slipping blah blah blah.

But who was Bell? He quickly knew what those blurred words are right after he saw them and he felt excited. He cleared all of his schedules at that time so he can solely focus on dungeon diving. His goal, ---to bring all of his stats to S as soon as possible! And so, the long grinding journey had started.

Bell will go inside the dungeon at exactly 5 am in the morning and will go out there at 10 pm. He's already very tired and sometimes wounded at that time so going to the guild isn't very likely. Not to mention that the guild is either still or already closed during those times!

There was simply no way for him to look for Eina at all.
