MY EXPERIENCE FROM PLAYING AMONG US!

So Among us had been a great big hit since the lockdown. And as a fact though, I had been playing the game ever since 2019! The year after it had gone beta. The game was actually introduced since 2018, and serve as a PC game. But it never caught the spotlight of the show until destiny reaches at the mid of 2020. It was a boring year and Youtubers were looking for games and suddenly they discover a game that was so good they decided to upload on YouTube to introduce to the world! Hence the age of AMONG US, was born. You will saw those cute squishy cuddly crewmates everywhere you go, from YouTube till Facebook. It's EVERYWHERE! And not gonna lie, had a plushy of my own too because they are just way too ADORABLE!

I've been playing Among Us since 2019 at that time I am just a 12 year old puny kid ready to go to the secondary school. At that time there was a game that was trending at Asia, it was called Werewolf Kill. The game was a card game instead of an adventure one like among us. The rule were quite same but instead of walking around doing tasks, the player need to guess the killers identity through the killing pattern of the werewolf. The game had two modes, day and night. The day is where the players discuss like the meeting of among us while the night is when various characters do their jobs. There were tons of characters if compared to Among Us, which is the games downfall side. These includes Hunter who needs to kill the Werewolf, The fortune teller who can ask for the players identity, The snow wolf who cannot be detected by the fortune teller, The Medic who can shield others and lots more. So basically this is where Among Us gets his idea to develop the game but some said it was from Mafia but they were in the same genre.

So long story short, my sister that time was a real fan of the game and she played it all day long. I on the other hand do not fancy games like this type, so I find the master of all answers, MR GOOGLE. The answers it gave me were not so good before I caught my eye on a game entitled AMONG US. And after reading the descriptions, I installed it, open the game and get ready for my round 1. I followed what it had said and soon I am at the lobby for my first game. At that time there were only a map, the SKELD and man it was kinda boring playing the same map over and over again but it was fine as long the gameplay were catchy. So if you are newbie, let me tell you all about something. There are two main roles in the game. The Crewmates and the Imposter. The storyline in game is simple, there is a ship full of crewmates, and one of them is the imposter. The crewmates need to fix the ship to keep it smooth and going while the imposter needs to kill all the crewmates or just simply destroy the ship through sabotages. The imposter has access through the vent system and can sabotage the ship through their tabs but they had only one weakness that is the lack of man power. The crewmates were more if compared to the imposter. They had various tasks from long to short, each with different time spam. There were also visual tasks which could prove a crewmate innocent such as Medbay scans and Asteroids at weaponry but we will talk about that later. To play the game, you need to enter a room which was hosted by a host. The host is the one who literally decides anything of the game, from the kill cooldown till the visual sight of the player. At there, they can choose a lot of hats and accessories as well as clothes to make their character look cute and cuddly. They can also buy pets which were the cutest thing you will ever see on earth! The downside is, it cost like a real pet in real life. But gamers who had too much cash stuffed in their pocket won't care much about it.

So now we know the basics we will talk into each of the characters specifically.

CREWMATES:

The crewmates were, will the crew of a ship. They were the good guys but who knows as Innersloth never made an official detailed story about the game but this does not stop fans from giving theories about the truth behind. So do me! So be sure to check out my series of the Among Us: Beneath the lies series (Part 4 coming up soon!) The reason behind each of the maps were shrouded in mysteries too! The MIRA HQ was a company settles upon the atmosphere of planet earth build as a headquarter for the company MIRA, the biggest company on earth. Planet Polus was a research center on another planet, but what is their research subject? The crewmates appears plump in a matter of fact and according to the Medbay scan they are weirdly short and were awfully heavy, if they were human, man they were in a state of obese. So fens started to debate whether crewmates were humans or not. Innersloth upon knowing a world war 3 was about to unleash, posted a GIF that hinted a crewmate is unable to consume any kind of matter due to its visor blocking the mouth. This had assure that crewmates were actually other alien species and they were forced to flee from their planet under certain circumstances. But the reason why there were food and drinks, HUMAN food and drinks on the café of The SKELD and MIRA HQ were still unknown. They crewmate has tasks to do various tasks which ranges from map to map. With the common ones being Medbay scans and Asteroids, which were both visual tasks. The crewmates were unable to fight back and were hopeless against an imposter, so they need to plan and act cleverly. They can win the match by ejecting all the imposter or by just finishing all their tasks. There is only two buttons that the crewmates can use, which is the REPORT and USE button. The REPORT button is to report corpses. The corpse in Among US is kinda funny. If an imposter kills a crewmate, the body will be slice to half, literally, with a white bone sticking out of it before falling flat to the ground. There is only one bone, so this is one solid proof that the crewmates were not HUMAN! This report button would light up if a corpse is nearby and could be handy if you were pitted face to face with the imposter. It can also act as a detecting meter to avoid imposter from hiding the corpses, which they normally do. Other than that, you can't use if there is no corpse around you. The USE button is a button that lets you do tasks such as fix wiring, fuel engine and upload data. The USE button can also use to held emergency meetings for some situations such as someone is super sus or you saw someone vent or kill. The last use of the USE button was to use the Cameras or the vitals, which are handy in case of some situation. The cams is available at POLUS and SKELD but it was changed into something that is useless at MIRA HQ. The cam is inserted across the map, with 1 at the vent at The SKELD while 2 at Planet POLUS. The cams were awfully good at catching the imposter so be sure to check the cams before you are in for a killing spree. If the camera is blinking, well then you will know that someone is at the security. The vitals were pretty much useless, it is said that it can catch the imposter but nah, the myth is prove busted. But it can make sure that who is still alive, and if you saw 3 vitals, you better call a meeting fast ASAP!

IMPOSTERS:

Imposter were guys who sneak up and blend in with others. They were described as Shape shifting aliens or parasitic beings which they host and blend among others, or in another word, AMOMG US. Their number varies from 1 till 3. They can kill others and their kill cooldown ranges from 10 second to 45 according to how the host of the game decide. They are also three kill animation which could only be seen by the crewmates which were back stabbing, gun shoot, and literally snap your neck off. They had access to the vent system which was a venting shaft except for the map POLUS which was an underground hole. They can vent to escape crime scene or to kill or finish of someone. The imposter need to be as sneaky as possible and cannot be caught killing. They may win a 1 v1 debate but a crowd saw it is a whole lot different story. The vent's pattern can differ from map to map, the vent at MIRA HQ, unlike the other maps can connect to each and every vent of the map, making the imposter having the ability to teleport to every corner of the map. But the only downfall of the MIRA HQ was its sabotage system, which the imposter cannot sabotage the doors. Talking about sabotage, it was a special ability only for the imposter. The imposter has a tab which he could sabotage the ship for various reason, whether to avoid the crewmates from finishing of their tasks, avoid an emergency meeting or mess up the formation of the crewmate, forcing them to split up. There were different sabotages, each with different effects. There were the 2 main kind of sabotages, the emergency and the non-emergency. The emergency sabotages consists of reactor meltdown, oxygen depletion and reset seismic stabilizer. These sabotages, if not fixe will result an instant win. The non-emergency will Coms sabotage and light sabotage, which will not result an instant win but will make the crewmate harder to perform task which will result the imposter gaining the upper hand. The door sabotage is what you can use to close doors on the map except for MIRA HQ. It is quite handy and can let you vent and kill with your will as long as no one knows you are there inside the room. The imposter must not went solo for the whole game or you will be suspected for not be seen for the whole match. Don't be a camper as the result will end up be the same. Try to blend in with others to earn their trust and use sabotages to earn a kill.

So back to my story. The first game I play I remember the host's name was SUSSY SUS, and that was the main example of the most hated player. The AFK host. You see if you played the game before, you must've met this guy. He opens a room and boom, went away for a nap, a grab of coffee, a date or whatever. They left the room, and when the room was full, he never started. Players get frustrated and left while others add in, so it's kinda sucks.

So I left the room like others and join another, and the next room's host was normal thank god, so the game start smoothly. The first round I was at the café and it was my first round so I just ran away here and there to search my tasks, not knowing there is a task board for me. Just as I was at electricity, I saw a corpse, and boy I did the dumbest thing in my life. Panicked, I tried to run back to the café for a meeting because it's my first game, don't complain. As I exited the room I bumped in with what seems like all the crewmates, and man you guess the ending.

I was voted out IMEDIATELY. I was trying to explain but no one trusted me. So my first game ended up me floating in space. I was kind of confused but the gameplay was great so I kept playing. From 1 mad till 4 maps, the game had undergone a lot of changes. I remember the time Innersloth introduced a brand new map and at that time it was a pay to play map and every player in the world were PISSED, so they had to turn it into free anyways. I remember the April fool day's special when the map was literally mirrored and I had a hard time playing that map and you can still do that today by just simply change your phone's date at the setting. And with that I had played it for ages and when it became the talk of my class at 2020, I was proud to boast I've been playing it for over a year. And through the 2 year spam I had met a lot of players,

NORMAL GUY:

This is just one normal guy who wanted to play the game normally. He just wants to play so be kind to him.

IMPOSTER TIPS: Earn his trust, sneak onto him, and kill him. EZ

UNNORMAL GUY:

This kind of player is a crazy guy who looks like Joker. He will chase you for no reason just to give you a heart attack. He will say that he himself was an imposter for no reason and wanted people to vote him out. Even though he was an imposter he will just kill in front everyone. So playing with these guys is no fun.

IMPOSTER TIPS: Leave him alone, he is a great excuse for you to sus about if you are in a grunge situation.

DETECTIVE:

We've all heard about this big brain guys. Only people who had years of experience and or just straight up a genius can play this role. The only way to be this role if you are not born with the talent was through a heck load of researching the maps. From traps to vents and fake tasks, he knew it all and when you mastered this, you feel like you've mastered Ultra Instinct. But there is one bad thing is that the detective will never ever do tasks, so if the crew loses due to him not finishing the tasks, they will be really pissed.

IMPOSTER TIPS: KILLL HIM FIST!!! Put him on the bounty list. Don't try to earn his trust, he won't buy it. Sabotage the doors or the light to kill him before he vote you out! Be extra careful if you know this guy is on the ship! He is unlike other crewmates, cuz he is da big brain guyz…

FAKE DETECTIVE:

These guys are the worst. The tried to be the big brain guy but they are not. They randomly voted others out just for, well, for minor reason such as following him for a short distance or just standing beside a vent. They will randomly picked someone and if the guy questioned him, he will claimed that he was the detective and ordered others to vote the guy out. This guy will only help the imposter to win the game, and if his detective skilled failed, he is the one to be voted out next.

IMPOSTER TIPS: Just like the unnormal guy, leave him alone unless he sus you which you should defend him by saying listing the failed cases that was due to this fake detective. He can be a great backup tire for you since he lost voted a lot of crewmates.

THE OSCAR AWARD WINNER:

These guys were incredibly deadly and dangerous if paired up with the ninja. They will act like hell to win your trust. Running along with you like man's best friend and try to gain your trust as hard as he can. They are a soft talker, and your trust will be melted like a butter in a frying pan. While he was acting like Jackie Chan, the ninja will do the rest of the job at the other side of the ship, it was not long until you realized that the game had ended a lot early than you expected.

CREWMATE TIPS: Unless you have visual task, don't trust someone way too much. They may be a crewmate, but trust only what your eyes have seen, not what you've heard.

THE NINJA:

These guys were dangerous if they were chosen as the imposter. They had the gift to KILL. And when they were on the move, it was real bad. They were not suspicious at all and they fake their tasks so perfect that even the detective had a hard time digging him out. And if he knows that you are the big brain guy, you better pray god that your daily routine to the church did not go to waste, cause one he locked on you, you will never shake him off.

CREWMATES TIP: Open your eyes wide like an eagle in the sky. If you saw someone disappearing from the gang or you never saw him, vote him up. Make a safe distance with the guy and be careful even while doing tasks. Try to let the rest of the gang trust you. Finding the ninja is hard, so use everything you got, from surprise attack to the camera, if you tried hard, you may succeed.

(THE TEAMER)

I want to be the imposter but luck wasn't on my side. So what should I do? Oh yes, I team with the imposter. This guys is like the Satan in the game, they betrayed the crewmates and were very hated by the players.

IMPOSTER TIP: Why you want to stop someone from helping you out? Let them!

THE IDIOTS:

These are just straight up dumb people who don't know the rules. They will sus anybody. Just for an example, on a game, I voted out an imposter, the next meeting, he sus me. I said that I did a scan and voted the imposter out, but he just repeats the word: ORANGE SUSSSSSSS. Man I was darn pissed and the worst was anyone believed him. Soon I was voted out confused, just why? They never seemed to know the rules and sometimes even defended the imposters, so nine out of ten, the game ended with him voting out all the crewmates.

IMPOSTER TIPS: Another day, another backup...

THE BUTTON SPAMMER:

Did you ever have that experience; you had a long task such as downloading data or a scan. And just as you were about the finish that task, someone spammed the meeting button. It was soooo frustrating! And when we asked him why, he just stays silent. And when we skipped the meeting and went off to do our tasks, he spammed the buttons again! And things normally ended up him being vote.

IMPOSTER AND CREWMATE TIPS: Vote him off! He will affect the crewmate's tasks while also rebooting the imposter's kill cooldown. The only one with the two roles pitted against him. Pity. But he deserved that.

THE SECURITY:

Otherwise known as the FBI Agents, they just stay at the security like it was their home, watching the cams while ignoring all the tasks. Do your tasks man! But no! They just stay at there all time, dusk till dawn until they were killed or the game ended. THEN, they will do their tasks. They were an easy target for the imposters, and normally the first one to be killed. (I will be watching you Wazowski, always watching....)

IMPOSTER TIPS: Close the door, vent in, kill him, vent out. EZ

THE MONEY SLAMMER:

These are guys who slammed, smashed and throw hard cold ruthless cashes into the game just for some cute accessories, smart dresses and cute pets. To free to play players, they were just a waste of money.

PLAYER'S TIP: Take a deep breath. Don't get jelly.

THE INNOCENT:

These were imposters who act innocent by claiming he just play the game for the first time. He will ask you for help, and if you go softy and helped him, you are sure dead.

CREWMATE TIP: TRUST NOBODY! Harden your hearts soldier! The softer you get, the quicker you're dead!

THE HACKER:

As you know it, they hack the game. They come in two kinds, the game crusher or hacker. The game crusher crushes the game by using MODS or other hacking apps, normally they can have unlimited kill range, always imposter, zero cooldown or can run through walls. The game will ended either with the system banning him, or he kills all of the crewmates in a split second. But one thing that really get me confused, if the game ended up so early, what's the fun of it? But they just crush the game, better than the hackers who crush your phone. The Hacker will spam random words or address in the room and if you tap on it, the next thing you know is that your phone has been hacked, literally. Cases like these happened a lot but luckily Innersloth fixed it.

CREWMATE TIP: Let the system get rid of this bug.

THE FRUITS: Why not fruits? Tasty delicious, dressing up like one is definitely cute enough to not be voted out or killed, right?

IMPOSTER TIP: Ah, fruits. Chop them off like your Nana's daily dessert salad.

THE DISCORD CHEATER:

They cheated through discord, and will normally be voted out if founded out by others.

PLAYER TIP: If someone says my brother or my father was playing the game, just vote them out.

THE RUDE:

They just spam random rude words or scold, mock, joke others. Good thing censor were introduced to the game, or these words were be flying all over at the chat.

PLAYER TIP: Kick them, feel free like Ronaldo on a soccer field.

THE AFK KING:

I enter the game, I am not an imposter, and I left. Simple.

PLAYER TIP: -none-

These were the most met kind of players in the game, there are a lot more about it but if I introduce all of them, it would be midnight. So next I am going to share some tips about bot the the crewmate and the imposter, they might not be too useful but they were handy at some situations:

CREWMATE TIPS:

AVOID SUS:

Do your tasks, avoid being sus, travelled in groups of 3 or 5 if there is 1 one of 2 impostors on board. If you have a visual task, leave it for the next meeting to inform others to prove that you are clean and glean. Don't run here and there like an imposter, do your tasks seriously if you want to win the game and don't get voted out.

DON'T IGNORE:

This happens most, the lights were off, the reactors were blown, the oxygen was cut off and no one seems to even care! Why? Cause I've got tasks, and others will do it for me. Imagine there was a reactor meltdown and everyone on board has the same idea, well, it is goodbye then. So never ever do have this kind of thought. Why they were call as emergency scenario, cause they were emergency! Imagine your kitchen was on fire, and what did you do? Drive to the nearest Taco Bell cause my belly is rumbling? Wrong! Put them first upon your entire list, even the lights sabotage can send the imposter into a killing spree. So remember, always do fix the sabotage immediately without any delay.

BE UNPREDICATBLE:

The imposter can kill someone easily cause they are predictable. So be the special, don't go on the normal route like others do, do twists and turns suddenly and sure enough, you will surprise or even caught the imposter red handed on the kill in no time.

BE THE BIG BRAIN GUY:

Be the detective if you want to win. Learn how to predict the imposters' movement and pattern. Use everything you had, cams can be quite handy if you know how to use them. Google for tips and tricks to become a pro. Memorize the normal time to finish a task and follow the one you sus to get more proof. You can only held and emergency meeting if there is solid hardcore evidence, so collect, inspect and soon the imposter will be surface not long after.

DON'T BRAG:

I know you had spent all your Christmas money for a darn good looking skin but stop bragging and show others. Like: Hey look at my clothes! Just stay low profile, don't brag here and there or even worse, mock free to play players. You will end up being voted out or banned by the host. This may not be a big deal but just don't try to make others pissed.

TRUST NO ONE:

This one was almost a slogan for the game. Trust no one around you except they had done visual tasks. If someone was with you for a while and did not kill you, don't drop your guard, they may be the imposter just winning your trust for future use. So stay alert all the time while open your eyes wide and clear especially while looking for a trustworthy partner to stay with.

AVOID ELECTRIC ROOM: I need Innersloth to change the name from ELECTRIC to HELL. This is place where there will be always a corpse or two lying here and there. Don't go there when the match start because the imposter will have a short kill cooldown. Wait for the first meeting to over then went there with others or someone you trust.

IMPOSTER TIPS:

AVOID BEING SUS:

Just like the crewmates, avoid sus. Fake tasks, don't just camp in the vent all the time. Tried to blend with others to win their trust. Prove that you are worth to be trusted by others. Tried to be a crewmate during a meeting. Don't sus anyone unless you need to or if someone takes the lead to sus someone first. Just try to act normal and chill. You can even use your partner as your tool to earn other's trust. But unless you are willing to take risks, don't do that.

USE THE VENTS AND THE SABOTAGES

Vents can be a handy way to escape and arrive a crime scene. Once you killed someone vent in and leave immediately! Don't use the door unless you did nothing. Use the vent wisely but don't camp at there to avoid being suspicious. Don't use the vents frequently or you will be spotted soon. Use your short strong legs, do some exercise. As an imposter you had the power to sabotage. You can sabotage to turn the crewmate's attention or to avoid a meeting that may be dangerous for you. Close doors if you've been spotted venting or killing to pull the time and avoid being tattled out.

BE THE NINJA:

Just like the tip from crewmate. Try to be sneaky and unpredictable. Try to think out of the box and try to confuse the crewmates into sussing each other while you just stand along looking at them killing each other while pretend to be innocent, but not too obvious. Once you had your kill ready, camp at places that were hard to notice such as electric or security where you can close the door to avoid being spotted.

DON'T TROLL DON'T TAKE RISK

You may stumble upon troll videos on YouTube about Among Us and thought it was fun. It may look fun but don't try it in game. As an imposter, don't troll here and here. Don't get way too cocky, the world doesn't revolve around you. Avoid stack kill unless you are sure that no one is watching. Don't just stack kill at the beginning of the game such as the card swipe at admin of SKELD, the code input at admin of MIRA HQ and the key at PLANET POLUS. You were lucky to be an imposter, so just don't ruin your chance of winning by doing an early kill. You may won in a one v one debate, but if all of the crewmates saw it, you are a goner.

(COMING UP NEXT! BE SURE TO CHECK IT! STILL IN PROGRESS!)

TOP TEN THINGS THAT PLAYERS HATE IN AMONG US

So the game has meet its debut since 2018 and had undergo a lot or in other words a ton of changes as well as bug fixes and gameplay changes. But still there are things that players still hate and complain till this day and Innersloth seems to fall a deaf ear on it. So here are top ten things that players hate, and when I mean hate, I mean A LOT. In Among us.

(NUMBER 10) TOO FAST \ SLOW MOVEMENT SPEED

TOO WIDE \ SHORT VISION

TOO LONG \ SHORT VOTING TIME

Ah, the blame the host series. Well there were some host out there who just like to troll around like an idiots. Whether you are walking around like a sloth or a bat or running around like Flash with extra booster. The most annoying thing is the voting time. Picture this, you and your pal decided to skip the vote, and while all of you had finished voting, one nobody, AFKED! Oh, right, just wait for the voting time to pass over right? And suddenly you realize the voting time was 120s, so do all the discussing time and whatsoever. So you are forced to watch, stare your phone like some sort of idiot, and that was the pain in the eyes and the waste of your precious time. The next image is the too short voting time. You were being sussed, before you can defend or even make a peep, the voting time is over, so out the ship you fly. So you may agree about what I stated above, but you may question me how about the wide vision? It's good though. Ok listen unless you have an I PHONE 10000, your phone is definitely gonna go NUTS. And this is bad for the imposter as having a wide vision means like having two telescope glued onto your eyes.

(NUMBER 9) ADMIN CARD SWIPE

This is a pain for the finger if you haven't spent 24 hour researching what is between "TOO FAST" and "TOO SLOW". The admin card swipe is well, a card swipe, but the machine, oh god, has a lot of pattern than the one at your office. TOO SLOW. TOO FAST. BAD READING. Good excuse. You need to try it again and again and again but with patience, nice try Innersloth, a task that will result a riot, well done.

(NUMBER 8) MIRA HQ

This is a fact though as it is one of the worst map in Among Us, worse than why Adam and Eve decide to eat that GODDAMN apple! The Map was a disaster. The vents make the imposters thrive as it connects to every part of the map! The security system is a total disaster, unless you're a clerk and has the patience scoring down a load of information and cheat them one by one like a FBI agent before getting killed, you are going to be so pissed.

(NUMBER 7) QUITERS

Oh, the guy who shouts I QUIT! I enter the game, I am not the imposter, I QUIT. I saw that we are losing, I QUIT. I reported the corpse, and without a word, I QUIT. I played for a while, and for no reason, I QUIT! SIMPLE!

(NUMBER 6) IDIOTS, TROLLS, BUTTON SPAMMER, CREWMATES WHO PRETEND THEY WERE IMPOSTER.

This is what we called the most hated gamer but at least every game has one. They are just like the Arkham Asylum. I had explained them earlier above so I think that I will just skip them. The last one is the crewmate who pretended to be the imposter, they pretend to be sus. So sus that you decide to vote him out and in the end he is not, so you are being voted out too.

(NUMBER 5) LOST IN A DEBATE

Among Us is actually a debate club. You know my words. You saw an imposter vent or kill and you try to tell your crewmates to vote him out. But instead the sus back you! Why? Hell do I know why! So you are being voted out just like that. And you thought that the crewmates will sus the imposter since you are not the imposter. But NO! They put 100 percent faith on them .And trust me, the next second your phone is going to be having a free fall from the 13th floor.

(NUMBER 4) ELECTRIC AND SECURITY

The place where you will at least see one or two corpse heaping at the corner. The electric is a place where all the killing happened, it is like a hell in real life, so if you want to do tasks at the electric, do it in groups or after an emergency meeting to reboot the imposter's kill cooldown cause at the first game, the imposter's kill cooldown is minimized, so keep it in mind.

(NUMBER 3) SABOTAGES AND LONG TASKS

Whether is the light sabotage, the reactor meltdown or the oxygen depletion tasks, they were annoying. Especially when no one cares about it. Why? CAUSE I GOT TASKS! Light sabotage is the most hated by the players, you will die any second if the lights went off. The reactor and oxygen sabotage were fine as long as crewmates pay attention and fix the sabotage, if not you will feel like an idiot. Long tasks well, were long and lousy tasks. They were either tasks that needs a long time of waiting or tasks that needed a long time to finish. After you finished the waiting task such as the example the sample task at Medbay, it feels awkward especially you've done all the task. You just stand there, staring blankly like an idiot before someone killed you.

(NUMBER 2) NOT BEING AN IMPOSTER I bet that almost all the player wanted to be the imposter. They love to kill, cast shadows of fright upon others but sadly your chances were slim. Being a crewmate is like being nothing. You just run around do your tasks and waiting to be killed. Unless you were the detective who like solve cases and catch or vote the imposter while craving to satisfactory to be praised as the Sherlock Holmes, you may love being the imposter. But if you are born to be the crewmate, just don't complain.

(NUMBER 1)BEING KILLED

Nothing is ever worse than being stabbed by the back and become a ghost. Everytime the animation appeared I felt like all lost were hope. Felt that the apocalypse had arrived. Being the crewmate is better than being killer. As a ghost you are nothing. You can't talk, walk, appear and no one will even know your appearance. You just drift here and there and do your tasks like a slave without any payment. The worst is the meeting, it is fine if someone other ghost is willing to chat with you, otherwise, just leave the game and let it go~

(THINGS THAT PLAYERS FOUND SATISFYING IN AMONG US)

So we have been talking about what players hate, so now here comes what the players live or love in the game AMONG US. Yes, yes, yes, I've already covered about the hate series so that's why I needed a love and satisfying series too. You know, to make the world BALANCE. So without any further delay, let's get right into the topic.

(NUMBER 10) THE PERFECT WIRING TASKS

Have you ever done the wiring tasks and when you pressed the use button, a row of perfectly aligned wires just pop up in your eyes and made you feel sooooooo satisfying? Well actually it does if base to human psychology, when human saw something lined up in a perfectly balance way, the mind will felt satisfy for the result, so this concept also works other tasks, not only the wiring tasks. And as a quick fact, the wiring task only appears in a random sequence, so having a perfect wire fix is only available in a 1 out of 24 possibility, so make a wish, you are the lucky ones.

(NUMBER 9) GETTING THE SAME DIGIT DURING OXYGEN DEPLETION

This is really satisfying and easy especially when the time is leaking away. The numbers during oxygen depletion at SKELD and MIRA HQ were generated at a random sequence just like the wiring task. So if you get this kind of number during oxygen depletion, it is going to make you drool over yourself cause it is really, REALLY satisfying to finish the task. Remember to take a snapshot if you meet this kind of situation, cause it only happens 1 in a 10000 times.

(NUMBER 8)GETTING THE COLOUR YOU WANT

This is no big deal to some, really, even to me. But to most other people, when you hop into a lobby and you get the color you want, they felt like the king of the world.

(NUMBER 7)1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.....

This is gain, a task that makes people felt like a god. You remember the number alignment task at the Reactor. Well in 1 out of 363000, you will get a perfect row of numbers square and fair. The feeling is like Thanos gathering all the infinity stones, you will felt INEVITABLE. This kind of situation is very rare and very, VERY satisfying.

(NUMBER 6) CAUGHT THE IMPOSTER RED HANDED

Ah, the classic. You went to electric and saw someone vent or saw the imposter with the corpse. You felt a flow of satisfactory channeling through the vents as you pressed down that piping red report button. You can almost hear the imposter screaming, begging, curing you do not dare to press the button, but you did so anyway. As the alarm blared, you are ready to arrest the criminal scum. But now first, you need to convince your crewmates. Its debate time, thus coming at number 7.....

(NUMBER 5)WINNING A DEBATE

Now you've found out the imposter, you need to convince them. This happens almost to all of the player playing the game. But if you are the imposter, and everyone trusted you even you being caught red handed, you will feel like WHAAAAAAA?! It is even more satisfying when you convince everyone to vote out the crewmate who accused you and caught you in the face. And they did! As the crewmate was ejected out to the hollow void of space, you gotta admit, that was really fun and satisfying.

(NUMBER 4)WIN THE GAME Winning a game, is indeed full of satisfactory. I mean who loves winning? Whether you are a crewmate or an imposter, winning means well, winning. Right?

(NUMBER 3)KILLING THE CREWMATE ON THE EXACT REPORT FRAME

Let's see someone saw you venting, I don't know from the cams or what, they just saw you vent. And you need to hunt that guy down. He was racing towards the café and you are hot on his tail. As he approached the table and pressed the button, you kill him in the nick of the time. The emergency meeting is held, but the crewmate is dead, so everyone skipped the vote. The same happens during a double kill event. If the crewmate presses the button real quick or just your partner doesn't react fast enough. This may not be a game breaking bug but rather a harmless glitch. While you are breathing heavily for air behind the screen, you got to admit it felt really great and fun. I bet that the crewmate is cursing at you right now, but don't mind it as long as you survived and felt satisfies.

(NUMBER 2)MEET WITH THE YOUTUBERS

You gotta be with hard tough luck if you want to meet and play with the big bois. No matter which Youtubers you meet, whether it is PUMBA, CORPSE or WARD, you are in a real sweet deal. It is better if they are streaming or recording for a video. GRAB THE CAMERA MA! I AM ON TV!! If you meet the legendary MR BEAST, you may end up in a pile of fortune. As a conclusion, if you meet these heavy weightier, forget about the force, may the luck and satisfy be with you my friend.

(NUMBER 1)BE THE IMPOSTER

Does this need any explanation? I men almost all the players of the game wanted to be the imposter in the first place. I mean how can you resist a guy who can kill anyone, sabotage the ship and has access to a secret tunnel? It is way more fun to be the imposter than to be the crewmates. When you are the imposter you got that feeling, that nervous feel that makes satisfactory pump up in your brain. According to a chart, almost 98 percent of the players love to be the imposter, only 2 percent of the world population found the role not attractive and rather dull. Those guys must be to kind to kill, or just too noob to find out the fun of it.

(5 THINGS THAT PLAYERS LOVE ABOUT THE GAME!)

Among us has been a huge hit since 2020 and it has dominate the gaming world ever since! Can't blame it, the game is just way to fun and unique to compare to others old fashion shoot'em up games. The gameplay is the first of its kind, although there were a lot of rip-offs when the game went crazy, but they just can't compare to the original game. So, there must be a reason behind why players were so attracted to this Among Us game. So let's dive in in the world of AMONG US~

(NUMBER 5) THE INFLUENCER

Well you might guess why this game, that was supposed to be in an ice freeze, will be so popular? Well the meaning is obvious. You see, at the beginning of 2020, when the world is in total chaos about the COVID thing, some Youtubers get bored and start to search for less known games but with great gameplay. And with that Among Us was refroze and soon enough it became the top hit of the gaming world and a legend that everyone will remember. Day by day, more and more people spread the news about the game and soon enough those cute icons were flying like bullets during war in the internet. And if you wanted to know the main theory, you need to read the bellowing text seriously. You see, humans were called as a herd or a flock. We are called as a pack animals because we were easily influenced by the number, money, fame and power. That's why when more and more people started to talk about the game, you will have the urge to try it. You may say it was due to curiosity, but the most of the part is due to the herd theory. You don't want to be left out by the society, so when something is trending and people start to follow it, you don't want to be stay apart and be the unusual, so do about the game. So when more and more talk about it, more and more play it, so it became popular. EZ? Confused? Me too. But you will knew it someday.

(NUMBER 4)THE CHARACTERS

The designer who designed the character is a GENIUS. Who can think of a simple yet cute icon for the game? They were indeed to remember, chubby, short, colorful and CUTE! Everytime I saw them I sill let out an awe. And the characters were now a STAR! Their artwork, accessories, were just everywhere. And did you watch their fan made animation? They are just way to adorable. The character of the game plays a huge role since it was the first thing players will see in game. So this explains the rest.

(NUMBER 3)INNERSLOTH

Innersloth was a small gaming company that wanted to be the star. And seriously, if you had seen the pre beta version of the game, you will know how much blood sweat and tears the company poured into the game, hopping that one day it would stood side by side among other great games. But success came in late, 2 years since the game was released on PC and that time I remember it has a price tag of 5 dollars, the game never caught attention of the world. They want to give up their project and kill the game but the day never came, they don't have the heart to kill the game that they had created after months or even years of hard work, so they decided to keep going. They started to create new tasks and features as well as maps and at the beginning of 2020, the day has come. Their hard work pay off, everyone was praising the game, their dream was fulfilled and INNERSLOTH had become one of the well-known gaming companies in the world, because how they did not give up, how they tried their best to make the fans love the game, how they laugh in the face of failure…...

(NUMBER 2)THE ROLE

Not only the gameplay, the curiosity, and the trend wants you to play the game. Your psychology also plays a role at this part. During a game, whether you are an imposter or a crewmate, you will find out the fun of the both roles. Being a crewmate has the intense feeling that stimulate the player, and when you won you will have that satisfactory rushing into your mind. But being an imposter is way more fun. The roles makes you felt inevitable and sneaky. When someone trusts you and defended you, you will get that feel of satisfactory. So this keeps the player coming back for more and at the same time also makes more new players join in the game.

(NUMBER 1)THE GAMEPLAY

Among Us is not the first game to have such concept. The first game to have the "Who's da bad guy concept" was actually a card-party game called MAFIA, and I believe almost everyone were fond of the name. The game has the same rule, but it was a card game so it kinda sus if played online. So INNERSLOTH, the big brain guy, joined the gameplay with action. Allowing the player to interact with each other. Making the game more interesting. You may say there were a lot of game with the same concept out there but no, Among US was the first game to have such catchy concept, the first of its kind, thus making it amazing and worldwide famous.

(AMONG US MODS: THE BEST OF THEM ALL!)

There is a lot of crazy mod stuff going on YouTube. Did you watch Socks for 1, he is like the god of mods, I never get bored watching his mod videos cause his concept were fantastic and it was hilarious too. So all thanks to Socks, my man, I decided to list types of mods in the game, from the floor is lava till different secret roles. Among Us mods, HERE WE GO!!!

(NUMBER 1: NEW ROLES)

Let's start up with my favorite Youtuber of all time: SOCKS FOR 1. You see, he had made a lot off mods, each with different unique and special rules. But none of them beats the iconic. THE SPECIAL ROLES. You see Among Us is a great game, not gonna deny it but it has one major problem, the roles. The game is a bit to bore for only having just 2 roles running over and over. If you played Werewolf Kill, a Chinese version of Mafia, you will know that the roles in this game is way better and interesting compared to Among Us. So people start to make up their own special roles that were, I got to admit, pretty fun and interesting to play.

(SHERIFF)

Sheriff, the good old western cop that runs the valley. Defending the weak. The same goes to the Among Us mods. The sheriff plays as the good guys and their mission is to kill the imposter but not the crewmate. If they miss killed, they will be killed too! So they are pretty handy at some situation but this role is one of the hardest to play as most will mistake the sheriff as the imposter since both of them were the only two roles with the ability to kill. But unlike an imposter, a sheriff can't vent or sabotage, and he need to complete tasks too! So in a short word, he is just a crewmate with a GUN.

(JESTER)

Also known as the clown. As long as a jester is in the game, it is hard to win. Jesters need to act like they are imposters so that people will vote them out, and once they does, the jester wins. Aside from that, the jester is just a pretty normal guy. Although a jester wins through being voted out, he is also killable by the imposter, so jesters need to play smart and act hard at the same time.

(TROLL)

Just like the jester, the troll need to be killed by the imposter instead of being voted out. The Troll can also win the game by completing task but getting kill is much more easier and faster. So camp at the electric often but the imposter will aware that there is a troll in game, so just don't be wayyy too obvious.

(THE MAYOR)

Mayor plays an important role at voting. Their vote doubles so vote wisely. The mayor is extremely handy for time you saw the imposter kill or vent with your own eyes. No more debate, just vote.

(MEDIC)

A good doctor is in the house! Medic, or doctor can heal corpse in an instant but the cooldown is long. The medic is a huge threat for the imposters, so they need to keep their identity secret from others. His long cooldown is also a major weakness and he needs a spam of 10 seconds to fully heal the corpse, if the corpse is reported or an emergency meeting is held, this interrupts the healing process, and at the same time making them also a suspect.

(DETECTIVE)

Meet Sherlock Holmes! The detective is a huge threat aside from the medic. They are able to track down all the crewmate's footprints which is real handy. But aside from that, he is just an average Joe. He still need to do tasks and like the other roles above, he can be killed. He is unable to kill the imposter so he need to vote out the imposter through emergency meeting and it will be a hard time trying to convince other players about your role. And if you lose the debate, you may lose your life too.

(SPY)

James Bond is in the room! Meet the spy, an overpowered character and the only one who can match the God Imposter. The spy is very powerful. He may seem like a normal crewmate and he needs to do tasks but he had a ton of other power. He is able to access the vitals, the cameras and the admin anywhere anytime with ease. Besides, he can turn invisible to sneak someone that you suspect. The spy is strong, but he is still an inch short compared to our next two roles.

(HITMAN)

The hitmat is just like the spy. He is an imposter but he can turn invisible. So he is very, extremely dangerous as he can arrive and get out from the crime scene swiftly unnoticed. But remember, a kill or a vent will reveal yourself, so just think twice before pressing that red kill button.

(GOD IMPOSTER)

This imposter is fairly a GOD! He is really strong, almost omniputent . He can kill and sabotage the ship while has access through vents like normal imposters. But in addition, he have a lot of other stuffs. First, he can drag the corpse to places people will never know like outside THE SHIP! He can also turn invisible for a short period of time to be extra sneaky. The worst is that he is able to steal other's color to pretend that they are the imposter, but they are actually not. Talking about time, the god imposter is also able to stop time, let everything freeze for a while. I mean literally, stop the time! This power is so overpowered that it need all the special roles above to get rid of this GODLY IMPOSTER!

(NUMBER 2: THE FLOOR IS ON LAVA/ THE FLOOR IS FLOODED!)

This is one iconic mod if you ask me. A lot of Among Us Youtubers had done this mode and it was well received by the fans. The both game has the same rule, except one is lava and another one is flood. The idea was simple, after a certain amount of time, larva or water will started to pour, and the crewmates need to find something to climb onto. The same goes to the flood except you need to climb onto random boats, floats and ships that were placed randomly across the ship. The lava will indeed kill an imposter no matter he is hiding in a vent or not. So to me this is quite a balance mod especially the imposter accidentally killed himself. That was SATISFACTORY.

(NUMBER 3: THE IMPOSTER GOT A WEAPON/SPECIAL ABILITY)

This one is fun too especially if you ARE an imposter, otherwise you will just only has the chance to envy it. This includes the imposter can get invisible. The imposter will vent at random rooms or teleport randomly every few seconds. The imposter has a gun, sniper or a boomzoka which dealt splash radius damage to kill those who are bunched up. The imposter can place vent randomly everywhere and so on. There are too much of mods like this that I had practically lost count of them, but they are real fun for the imposters, and if you get to be one, enjoy.

(NUMBER 4: ZOMBIE APOCALYPES MODE)

This one is a shooter game instead of the classic jolly old Among Us. The rule is simple, zombies will spawn from each room and target the crewmates. The crewmates, now equipped with guns need to kill as many zombies as possible and stay out within the reach of those brain gnawing beast. Each round lasted for 1 minutes and if one crewmate survive, they won the game and continue to round 2. As the round increases, more and more zombie will be generated and they will be much more clever and random, making them unpredictable and harder to finish off. This mod was created by MR BEAST, he played with other Youtubers and it was pretty cool, they said that it felt like playing a miniature zombie survival battle royale game.

(NUMBER 2: AMONG US WITH A LOT OF PLAYERS)

This is what we call overcrowded. You will play with a million, a thousand or a hundred players and normally the imposter will have unlimited kill cooldown which was pretty fun. If you fear things that were packed together, avoid trying this mod, cause it is literally packed like sardines in a can. The crewmates will not bother to call for a meeting since there were over a million players in game! and the game normally lasted for a few hours, so don't play it unless you've a whole day to spare. Did I mention the emergency meeting was total chaos? The idea was great, but it was just way too crazy and illogical to play, so thus, earns this spot.

So that's all of it from my 2 years' experience of the game. I will continue to update my stories so be sure to collect my books if you are loving it. Comment for future stories and share it to spread my words! Thanks!
