Flashback

Selma grabbed her mother in law's feet and pleaded her for forgiveness .

''Mother I am sorry …! you were right .I shouldn't have brought the bangles with me .Sorry mother I will do anything for you just don't kick me out of the house .'' upon hearing the news of Selma losing her voice Sitara came to check up on her daughter in law .

Selma was laying unconscious on the bed when Sitara came .Anam had called the town ladies to pray for her daughter's health ,till now nobody had told Sitara about the bangles incident yet but when Selma slowly opened her eyes, she saw Sitara and instantly panicked ,she know that now its her end and she was definitely here to ask her about the missing bangles she would most probably throw her out of the house ,her marriage would e ruined and then she would be forced to live a pathetic life like sister Mehjabin.

she falls on her feet and pleaded her for mercy but Sitara was in a completely different state .she was neither angry nor shouting on Selma for losing something so expensive .Mehjabin sensed she wants to say something

''Mother just take Selma to another room ''

Anam was a sobbing mess looking at her daughter in a condition like this but still did as she was told .

Mehjabin helped Sitara to sit on the chair and she took the seat next to hers ,she gave her a glass of water that she gulped in just one go .Sitara was trying to avoid the actual conversation by fidgeting with the rim of glass .Rina quickly came and snatched the glass from her hand ''Either tell me why you are here or just clear this mess .I am just tired of seeing all the crying people here ,it feels like I am living inside a graveyard ,every 2 hrs. someone is crying or when no one is crying mother is crying .''

''Rina is this the way you talk to elders ..say Sorry to Sitara annum'' Anam scolded Rina for her inappropriate behavior

''I am sorry Sitara she was not outspoken like this before .''

''I heard she is possessed '' whispered a lady in her ear .Rina rolled her eyes at her neighbors stupid talks .

Sitara was still motionless and escaping the eyes

''What happened aunt Sitara '' Mehjabin asked placing her hand atop on hers

''Mehjabin I don't know how but the bangles were with me the whole time .I found it in my cupboard this morning and I came to return it ''

murmurs filled the crowd when Sitara spilled the truth

''This means that Selma has false accused Surraya ''said one

''How shameful she is!'' said other .

Selma couldn't control herself more ,voices were getting louder in other room and she wants to know what is happening so she rushed to to see what's happening ,her face grew pale when she heard what they are saying. How her bangles which was with her the whole time were suddenly with her mother in law.

''I swear mother I did not false accused anyone .''Anam tried to calm Selma but she was shocked beyond relief ,her breathing rate gone abnormal soon the world dims for her and everything turns black.

Sitara was standing outside Mustafa 's door ,she slightly knocked outside

''come in''

Sitara placed the bangles in front of Mustafa and said ''The work is done ''

Mustafa inspected the bangles carefully for any falseness or dent but found none ''I thought Surraya will give it to me but I have to agree that's a nice cover story she made by involving you in this but if she had done her task carefully ,nothing like this would have happened ''

''Mustafa Sir please keep your end of promise ..I have done my task'' Sitara hesitated to speak

Mustafa smirked ''Of course Sitara I wouldn't tell anyone that your son ohh sorry my son in law is Impotent ''

Sitara gritted her teeth in annoyance but still asked ''what about Selma''

''Selma ..my poor daughter she accidently got involved in all this .All her mother's fault ,if she had not given her the bangles she would have been okay by now ''Mustafa said sadly
