A young intern is assigned to the company's most intense and driven employee, Dani Lovelace. Dani typically refuses interns but has no choice when her superiors made the arrangement. Neither Dani nor her intern Brooke had any idea just how involved their relationship would become. Apparently her mom has insisted she be home for dinner that night which conveniently worked out for me. 


I debated with myself about telling her about my plans for the evening. 


I always respect my superiors in the company and as silly as it seems since Brooke would never tell anyone. 


It feels weird to hide things from her. 


I decided to wait until the end of the day that way she knows I wouldn't be available even if she could get out of dinner. 


She wasn't whiny, but was noticeably sad. 


After we finished our sandwiches, she just rested her head on my shoulder. 


'Go get your blankey and I'll lock the door. We can lay down for about twenty minutes.' 


She did as I said, and we met on the couch. 


I laid down and she laid in front of me.
