"Promise me something" I said to them

They both looked at me in confusion 

"Promise me that we won't let any stupid things separate us after this. No stupid exam marks, or boys are whatever!. We'll always be together through anything. Anything at all" I said

Elly smiled at me.

"Through joy and misery," Elly said holding my hand and Phoebe's hand

"Through health and sickness" Phoebe said holding my hand

I squeezed both of their hands a little.

"Through thick and thin" I smiled 

A few seconds later,

"Guys..." Phoebe's voice trailed off

"Yeah?" I asked

"I think we just made a marriage vow..." she said

It's been about a week since Leo and I broke up. Nothing has been great. My friends are not talking anymore. Nick went out of town about 2 days ago but he will be coming back today. 


So I guess I'll at least have some company. I hate hanging out with the cheerleaders. They're just gonna talk about some hot boy that they hooked up with. Bla bla... 


I saw Damian coming out of his car...alone? He usually comes with Caroline these days but she isn't here. I wonder where she went. Nick is also still not here. The bell rang so I head to class. 


Its math class. I entered the classroom and took my seat beside a random person. I saw Mr Salvatore entered the class and started speaking. 


"Good morning class. Today we'll be entering a new topic so take notes." he said writing on the board 


"And yes. Your classmate Caroline Williams," my ears perked up to the sound of her name.
