The Newbie(Me!!)

I have always hated change except for food..maybe. I cannot adjust to changes because I always get used to something really quick. Changing schools and being the newbie was just not my thing, well maybe it isn't others cup of tea as well...but who cares? Anyways this was my fifth school and no, I am not a troubled kid who gets kicked out of school. I was just changing cuz this school was near my house.

The name of the school is kinda lame, its Narnya international school. Before you get offended, I love the book and the movie 'The Chronicles of Narnia' but who would get as far as naming a school after that imaginary world, certainly I wouldn't. But sometimes you don't get what you want, you just have to go along with what others say(in my case, my parents).

Enough of my complaints, I mean I could go on whining but my friends would be really angry if they don't get a mention soon.

So yeah..let's start with my first day at school. It was verrrry borrrrrring. I am not exaggerating. It was quite uneventful for a first day. And to add on to the misery, I had to introduce myself almost 15 times in front of a new set of people and teachers which I did not like at all because I have a serious case of stage fright.

The only good thing was I knew a girl already as she lived in my building. My mom and her mom were friends. Although we both had never talked, she told her friend to look out for me. Her name was Angeliah and the friend who was made to look out for me introduced herself as Fiorenza.

They were my first friends and at that time I didn't know that they were also going to be my best friends.

This is how our friendship started ....

As soon as I reached the class, I felt completely out of place. That was a feeling I was familiar with. I wasn't wearing the uniform as the new students were supposed to get it later. Old students in uniform were all scattered around the class talking about their vacations. I found myself wandering over to the second last bench of the last row because that was the only bench which looked comfortable and inviting.

The moment I sat down, two girls burst into the classroom and started looking around for someone, and looking at one familiar girl out of the two I suddenly felt sorry for whoever came in her way.......
