Anger, Pain, Hatred and Revenge!!!

The bolt hits him, infact I see it pierce his skin, in and out but it doesn't seem to have much impact on him it even seems to give him a boost because he doesn't back down. Cirdan still comes at me with full force.

I am on my feet now and I try to back away. I want to run, to take flight. No, that would be foolish. He'll catch up with me in no time. I'm sure he's much more faster than me.

"Cirdan," I say warily, unsure of his next reaction. Whatever it is, it can't be good. "Please just calm down."

There's no reply from him. All I get instead is a set of deranged eyes, fixed on me as if he just escaped an asylum, like a hungry predator's gaze, fixed on its prey.

I don't lower the gun from his direction, hoping that would at least put some distance between us. Especially now that he looks very unstable, who knows what he'll do next.

I really don't want to shoot him again by accident but he is really pushing me. If I am forced to or feel threatened I will.
