No Slip ups

"Kalon. Would you please excuse us?" Father says.

"But why?" She whines.

"It was not a request daughter." His expression does not change, his voice remains monotone.

"Every time." Kalon whines and flails her hands in frustration. "I'm always excused, never involved in anything." She grumbles as she gathers the layers of her bulky dress and gets down from the bed.

"I mean I am not that young." She continues again as she nears the door "Four years, just four years age difference between Kaedan ,Karina and I..." She finally reaches the door, opens it then it closes. Her rants and grumblings dissolve at the other side of the door.

Well that went smooth,

Erlan looks really uncomfortable by witnessing what he just witnessed. He clears his throat nervously.

"Now that we're alone,''

I feel Kaedan's eyes on me and I'm positive my twin has an idea of what I'm thinking.

Oh dear. This is not going to end well. I mean, when does any meeting or encounter with father go smoothly?
