CHAPTER 20

The monsters were busy listening to the voices of the monsters,finding it pleasing.

Reed loved the melody, and wished they had come earlier before, than allowing Lucy and her group to spoil his mood.

Unexpectedly, Deborah stood in the middle of the hall,allowing the monsters to wonder why she was there.

Reed saw her and wondered why she was there.

He soon realized what she was doing there,when she began to dance.

Her dance moves followed the monsters voices perfectly well,leaving everyone mesmerized.

She twisted her waist with style and danced,showing off her beautiful legs.

Reed was stunned by her dance moves.

She was looking so attractive and captivating, that all the monsters eyes where on her.

Deborah was enjoying herself too.

Then she began to sing.

Heavenly, her voice sounded,as her song matched with the melody perfectly.

Esther,who was unaware, soon heard the song and turned to look.

She became astonished by the way Deborah presented their dance and song.

She was happy,and rushed to join her.

Esther and Deborah moved the monsters to their feet,that they too began to dance.

Lucy and her friends were lamenting about their failure, when they heard Deborah's voice,and rushed to see.

On seeing this,Lucy became even more jealous.

"Everyone is praising the both of them".

" Just because they added beat to their song,everyone is cheering ",she stamped her feet angrily.

What now provoked her the more,was when she saw Reed,staring at Deborah.

Lucy gasped and became even more angry," That's it.No one can steal my spot. Am the center of attraction! ",she yelled and rushed to spoil everything.

Deborah was still singing and dancing with Esther,making the party more enjoyable.

She turned her eyes to Reed,who couldn't help but stare at her,and she blushed.

The prince was over the moon,when she first started.

Her dance moves were tempting indeed.

He too was staring at the both of them,when someone said to him," She dance lovingly my prince"

"Yes she does.Who knew that she was this talented", another said,still staring at her.

The prince agreed with them and also praised her," A beauty indeed.Center of attraction ".

" Wow!,it seems like our prince has his eyes on her already ".

" Why don't you show everyone in this party,that she's only for you,and no one else".

"Yes", the others agreed.

The prince liked the idea,and decided to do it.

Deborah was still dancing and singing, with Esther too.

She looked at Reed and began to call him.

But he refused, by shaking his head.

She kept on begging, but he refused, making her unhappy.

Out from nowhere, Lucy came in front of Deborah.

Blocking her view quickly.

She began to add her own version of the song, trying to make it sound like hers.

Deborah quickly took over,so that she won't spoil it,while Lucy kept on dancing in front of Reed.

Reed became annoyed on seeing Lucy in front of him,that he felt like blasting her away.

But he held his peace,trying to get a closer look on Deborah.

Deborah was singing, with an unhappy face.

She felt like stopping, but didn't see it as a good idea.

" Let me still continue. At least he's looking ",she thought to herself.

Surprisingly, a hand pulled Deborah back, and she found herself in the Prince's arm.

She was scared at first,by the way he pulled her,but happy,when she saw that it was the prince,and he smiled.

Reed couldn't see Deborah, because of Lucy.

He frowned at her,looked at Blue and signalled him to get rid of her.

With pleasure, Blue chased Lucy out of Reed's front,clearing the way for him.

But he became shocked at the sight of the prince and Deborah together.

He was furious, squeezing the handle of his throne tightly.

Esther had taken over with the singing,while Deborah was stuck with the prince.

He spinned her round and drew her closer to him.

Holding both of her hands together, and dancing with her.

Deborah tried to release herself from the prince,but he kept on holding her close.

If anyone should see this,they'll think that they were both having a relationship.

Some monsters that were close to Reed,began to admire the Prince's confidence,in approaching Deborah like that.

" I must say,he's bold".

"Yes!.He didn't even care about what the others will say.He just came out and approached Deborah lovingly".

Little did they know that Reed was listening to them.

" Wow!,he's a good dancer"

"Look at the way he's holding Deborah"

"GO PRINCE GO!", they cheered for him.

Very Furious, Reed couldn't take it any more.

He decided to do something to silence the Prince's praises.

Lucy was able to escape Blue.

She came back to dance in front of Reed again,but was left disappointed, when he wasn't on his throne.

" Where's Reed?",she wondered, looking round.

Deborah was still dancing with the prince,who refused to let go off her.

He spinned her round,and wanted to pull her back.

When all of a sudden,Deborah felt another hand pulling her away from the prince.

"Wow!", she exclaimed in fear,thinking she would fall.

But she became astonished on seeing Reed,holding her close.

Deborah stared into his eyes,as he stared back at her,holding her closer to him.

The prince became annoyed on seeing this.Reed had spoilt his mood again.

Deborah was lost,while staring at him.

He slowly took her hand and spinned her round.

Then he pulled her closer again,and began to dance with her.

Amazing.

Reed's dance moves with Deborah, wowed all of them.

His monsters cheered,and began to praise their Master.

Lucy felt like crying on seeing this.She wanted to be the one with him,not Deborah.

Deborah had a smile on her face,which expressed how happy she was.

Reed pulled her closer to him again,with her back against him,and wrapped his arms around her slowly.

He moved his hands slowly to her own hands,and squeezed her tightly to his body.

Deborah could feel her body shivering and her heart racing, as wondered if she was dreaming or not.

Reed turned her over.Allowing her to face him.

He dressed her hair well,making her to blush.

And he smiled at her.

" I don't know why I keep on feeling this way,anytime am with you",he thought to himself, still admiring her beauty.

The prince wasn't pleased with what he was seeing.

He thought of a way to hold Reed,while he danced with Deborah peacefully.

He went to meet Lucy,and grabbed her hand.

"Hey!, what are you doing?", she asked.

He walked up to Reed,grabbed Deborah away from his grip,and flinged Lucy into his arms.

Quickly, he took Deborah to a different side,and danced with her.

Esther who was singing and watching, almost bursted into laughter,but maintained herself.

She was enjoying herself really.

Lucy saw that she was in Reed's arms,and embraced him tight, like there was no tomorrow.

Reed pushed her away,and turned to look for the prince.

He saw the prince and Deborah dancing together,with smiles on their faces.

He became angry and grabbed Lucy's hand.

" Oh my!,now he's interested in me",she thought to herself, about to embrace him again.

But she soon realized that he was not interested in her,but interested in using her to take revenge on the prince.

Reed used his power to pull Deborah away from the prince,and he quickly threw Lucy, straight, into the Prince's arms.

Nothing like full stop or comma at all.She went smoothly into his arms,and they both fell down.

Reed had a devilish smile on his face,as he got hold of Deborah,and continued to dance with her.

Lucy got up from the ground, dusting her dress.

She looked straight at Reed and Deborah, and saw how he held on to her,like she was precious to him.

She was so annoyed,and began to cry,that she ran out of the hall.

The prince got up too,and also looked straight at Reed and Deborah.

But he was focused on Reed.

"How dare that...that Blue eyes,..throw Lucy at me", he dusted his body,as if he was dusting something irritating away from him.

He looked at them again,and noticed something about Reed's body language.

The way he was dancing with Deborah, and staring at her,made the prince suspicious for a moment.

" I don't know,but I have a feeling that... that Reed is in...No,he can't be".

"He's too evil to think of that".

" But for what he has done,I'll get even with him",the prince promised.

Deborah's dream of being close to Reed, was finally coming true.

She smiled with joy,as they both danced together, and wished that the party never came to an end.

Blue soon joined in,and danced with Deborah too.

He hopped round her,making her to laugh.

While Reed stared at her,and wished she could keep on laughing, like the way she was doing now,so that he won't take his eyes off her.
