CHAPTER 21

It's morning already,and everyone's busy with one work or the other.

Some monsters were cleaning up the mess in the hall,from last night party.

They looked happy while cleaning, talking about the party.

"Last night was amazing.I've never moved my body before like the way I did last night".

" It was awesome! ",another monster commented,while packing up some bones.

Meanwhile, Deborah was getting ready for her training.

She carried her sword,and walked out of the room,when she bumped into Esther.

" Are you ready for training?,am coming too",she said,with a smile.

Deborah observed Esther from head to toe,and saw that she was dressed like a warrior.

"You want to train as well?"

"Yeah of course.Reed once said that any girl can train too,if he accepts you as his warrior".

" Hmm,that's true.Anyway... let's go",she said.

They both rushed out quickly to the arena,where other monsters and he man warriors were training.

The monsters were busy training themselves,when they spotted the both of them coming,and began to stare at them.

Deborah and Esther got closer to them,but began to feel uncomfortable with their faces.

"Em..D?!,is it me or are this monsters staring at us,like they are just seeing us for the first time?", Esther whispered to her secretly.

The way the monsters were staring at them,was as if they had just seen two angels,walking into the arena.

Surprisingly, they cleared the way for them to pass,saying," Welcome, didn't know you'll be training with us today"

"Come over here pls,I'll teach you some few tricks".

" No..I'll teach them some tricks.After all..",the monster speaking,drew himself closer to Esther and said,winking at her,"...am everyone's favourite ".

" OK!,this is weird. I think training is over,let's go!",Esther said,about to leave.

Deborah held her back and said,"Don't go!,we're here to train.So let's train".

"Yes,let's train.I'll teach you girls how to be tough,by just staring at my handsome abs", another monster said,showing off his muscles to them.

Now Deborah was the one who wanted to leave,while Esther was telling her to stay.

They were busy contemplating whether to stay or not,when the Prince showed up at the arena.

He saw the both of them,and became happy," So they're here",he said,walking towards them.

"I think we should go".

" No let's stay,they want to train us...."Esther said,looking at one if them,who gave an air kiss,"....with their equipments ",she completed, looking horrified at the monster.

The prince stood close to them and greeted from behind," Good morning ".

They both turned back and became relieved.

" Finally!,a hero has come",Esther said with joy all over her.

The prince chuckled,wondering what she meant by that.

Esther then begged the prince to train them,but he laughed.

"Why is he laughing now?", Esther frowned.

He then said,looking at Esther," I would love to train you girls,but..."

"But what?", Deborah asked.

He looks at her,smiles and said," You can ask Deborah to train you too.She's skilled".

Immediately he said that,all the monsters came close to them,saying,"Yes!,she's got the skill.Why don't she train us today "

"Yes!", they All agreed.

" Me?!,No...I don't know how to train someone ",she refused,feeling she couldn't do it.

The Prince then said to her,taking hold of her hand," Listen,I know you can.Everyone wants you to teach us how to fight like you.You're great in it.Come on pls!","No!",she still refused.

They all began to plead,until she agreed.

She only agreed,because one of the monster,kept winking at her in a horrifying way.

So in fear,she agreed.

Happy, they took their position, while Deborah stood in front of them.

While the training was going on,Reed was busy planning on going to the next land,to know how his men were doing.

He was talking to the cyclops,while walking towards the arena,to pick some monsters that'll follow him.

Since he needed the work to be quicker.

"You'll select Five monsters that will go along with me,and two humans.My work there must be completed today".

" Yes Master! ",the cyclops replied.

They both entered into the arena,still talking.

Reed turned His eyes to his monsters,but found Deborah, training them.

And she was doing it well,that's what impressed him the most.

She made sure they understood how to carry out a move,without any mistakes,and how to put an enemy to submission.

Everything she was doing was perfect in his eyes.

The cyclops was busy thinking of who and who to carry,when Reed cleared his throat and dragged his attention.

The cyclops looked at Reed,who was still staring at Deborah, then he said," You can choose Deborah as well.I'll be needing her support too".

"OK Master".

The cyclops decided to go and call the monsters he has selected, while Reed went back inside to prepare.

Deborah was training them,when she heard the cyclops voice from behind," You,you and you over there,come with me".

Deborah wondered what was going on.

The cyclops picked the prince and Esther, since they were the only two humans there,and he wasn't ready to go back inside looking for another.

He then selected Deborah, saying,"Master wants you to come along.He says your support is needed".

Deborah was stunned,"My support?!,wow!!.I never knew that Reed needed my support for something. This is great",she thought to herself, looking happy.

"OK!,let's go", the cyclops ordered, as they walked out of the arena.

Outside the castle, a set of beasts were lined up at the gate.

They were different from the ones fighting alongside with Reed.This ones were wild,and used for quick transport.

Their hairs were brown in colour,but only Reed's own was odd.

His own was Blue,and bigger than the others.

Deborah and the others came outside the castle, and Deborah was flabbergasted.

Including Esther.

" Waw!",Esther exclaimed, looking at all the beasts.

Excited,she shrieked in a low voice,admiring the huge creatures.

Deborah was looking at all the beast,when she spotted Reed,standing close to his own.

He was speaking to a monster, telling him to take charge before he comes.

He got on the beast,and waited for the others.

Excited,Esther dragged Deborah's hand,saying,"Don't just stand there,let's pick a beast".

Esther pulled Deborah, looking for a beast to get on.

But no one was available for them,because they were already carrying someone.

"This is not good.Now we don't get to ride a beast".

" Mind if I help?",the prince asked,coming close to them with a beast.

Esther became happy,as she rushed towards him,with Deborah behind.

Esther began to feel the hair of the beast,as she said,looking excited, "When i get back,I'll brag to the others that I rode a beast".

" Is that the reason why you want to ride a beast?",Deborah asked her.

"What?,no!.Am only joking", she planted a fake smile,whereas she meant it.

The prince stretched out his hand to Esther,and pulled her up,placing her at the back.

He then stretched out his hand to Deborah and said,"Looks like you get to stay in front row",he smiles.

Deborah smiled back at him,and was about to give her hand to him,when the unexpected happened.

Another hand pulled Deborah's second hand,and pulled her up.

Fear gripped her,as she thought it was a monster,"Hey!,you almost...".

She couldn't finish her statement, on seeing the colour of the beast she was on.

She swallowed her saliva,turned her head slowly to the back, and saw Reed.

He was looking at the prince,who seems to be very annoyed with Reed.

"Do you want to kill the poor creature?.He isn't that big enough to carry three,so have mercy on it ", he said,giving him an evil smile.

The prince didn't say a word,but just moved away, with Esther at his back,who seems to be happy on the beast.

Reed kept on looking at the prince,and shooked his head,saying," I hope he doesn't kill that beast,before its actual time".

He scoffs and fixed his attention on Deborah, who sat in front of him,looking nervous.

He could feel the heat of her body, like that of a scared person.

Slowly, he held both of her hands,planting a sense of vibration all over Deborah's body,and held a rope,which was attached to the beasts neck,and said to Deborah, drawing her closer to himself,"Don't be scared.You won't fall down,i promise".

He flipped the rope,and the beast began to move.

Deborah felt her heart racing,when he said that.

She looked at their hands,which was together, holding the rope,allowing a smile to appear on her face.

She began to blush,as she thought to herself, "He doesn't want me to fall,that's why he's holding my hands.So cute....Wait!!",her face expression changed,".... he thinks am scared.Is that what he's thinking?,that am scared?".

Curious to know if he meant she was a scared person, she cleared her throat, sat properly well like a serious girl,and asked," When you said don't be scared,were you thinking that I was scared at that moment? ".

Reed looked at her,as she looked back at him with a serious face.

He scoffs and looks the other way.

" All girls get scared,that includes you too".

Gasped.

Deborah stood her ground and said,"Not all girls are scared.Because am a girl doesn't mean am scared".

"Is that so?".

" Yes,its the truth.Nothing scares me".

She was busy defending herself, when the beast applied a little speed to his movement, and she jumped in fear.

Reed saw this and said,mocking her,"Yes its the truth.Nothing scares me.But you just jumped up in fear right now".

"That's not true.The beast made me jump,but not in fear", she said,trying to cool her running heart down.

She frowned at the beast and said to Reed," Just because your beast over here applied a little speed doesn't prove that am scared.He can even apply so much speed to his legs,but I won't be scared",she bragged.

Now she was feeling proud of herself.

She has finally defended herself in front of Reed,and was sure that he would accept it.

Surprisingly, the beast stopped.

Deborah wondered why he stopped and asked,"Hey!,what happened?, why did you stop?".

She turned her face back,and found Reed,staring at her.

This stare was spooky. There was a devilish agenda behind those eyes,and Deborah wasn't finding it friendly.

Trying not to show her fear,she asked him boldly,"Why..why did you stop?".

Reed kept on staring at her,as he released his hands from hers,and tightened his hands to the rope.

Now her fear began to show, "What about my hands?", she asked innocently, wondering what was going on in his mind.

His silence only made her scared,until he said,looking forward," I'll love to know how brave you are.How about we apply more speed,what do you say?".

Fear gripped her immediately.

She chuckled and said,acting innocent and gentle, "Listen Reed, Just because I said all those rubbish,doesn't mean it's true,right?".

But she was deceiving herself.

Reed didn't care.He looked at her again,and saw an innocent eye,staring at him,saying 'Pls don't'.

He smiled at her, making her to think he fell for her googly eyes.Then he said," Why don't we find out?".

Shocked by what he said,Deborah wanted to jump down,but it was too late.

Reed had already flipped the rope hard,causing the beast to run fast.

"Ahhhh!", she screamed.
