See you on Monday Shortcake

It took me minutes to reach there at the Club, Black Flamingo. It was owned by one of my cousins. I got inside and directly went to the VIP lounge. Patrick was waiting there at the bar. He was sitting in the dark, as if to avoid getting recognised. He was deep in his thoughts when I reached there. “Is she still here?” I asked him.

"She is currently sitting in one of the booths of the Private Lounge. I have told my men to inform me if she tries to leave.” “Come with me.” I dragged him to the Private booth section. I needed some Legal support. When we reached there, we saw the booth was empty. We both stared at each other. How could she escape from here? Who did she visit? Who helped her sneak out? What is she going to do next? My head started pounding so loudly. I ran my hands from my hair.

Patrick was shocked. “There must be a rat in here. We have to talk to Daniel about this.” I didn’t want any of my family members to get involved in this matter now. “No. Don’t ask him about it. I guess she wouldn’t have gone out of here.” We both reached the second floor of the club. It was the VIP section with a balcony. The vast dance floor was visible from there. Anybody could get spotted from up here. I was searching for that familiar figure with blonde hair. She must have dyed her hair because all I could see from here was crazy drunk people dancing there ass off.

Suddenly my eyes landed on that not so familiar Redhead. I couldn’t help but couldn't take my eyes off her. Her red curls were dancing in the air with every sway of her little body. My Adams Apple bobbed. She was there!! Dressed in a Cream colored sleeveless one piece, which rested just on her thighs. Her smooth legs were on show!! Every other guy around her was drooling over her.

My fists started to ball. How could she not see that every guy there wanted to fuck her?? This girl had the potential to attract trouble everywhere she went. I saw that she came here with Melanie Brooks. Melanie offered her some more shots and she drowned it like her life depended on it. I saw that some pervert guy approached her. He started to touch her in places. My jaw clenched. Patrick mumbled something in my ears but I couldn’t give a shit about it.

I saw she was struggling against that Pervert. I ignored Patrick’s protests and went down straight to where they were standing. I thought about keeping it cool. With hands in my pockets I stood behind them. "The lady made her choice clear." The guy stopped twisting her hands and turned to look where the voice came from. "I guess you should leave her alone."

My cold gaze met her shocked Sea Green eyes. I smirked when she started checking me out and cleared my throat. I saw her... Blush? I pushed the thought aside and slowly turned my attention to the man standing beside her, challenging him. The Bastard asked the unanswered question. "What is she to you man?"

I thought about it for some time. What did she mean to me? Did I feel anything about her? No! I looked at her face and she turned her gaze away. That proved her thoughts for me then. "Nothing. She is nothing to me."

Her neck snapped in my direction so fast, I thought it might have broken by now. I saw something flash on her face. Was it hurt? How could she get hurt by that? She made it clear the other day that she hated me? What changes it now? "Then get the fuck out of here man." The pervert tried once more. I growled and in my deep cold voice I threatened him, "I suggest you leave now or you won't stay alive to see tomorrow's sunrise." The Bastard must have got the hint. He lifted his arms up and walked away giving me one last glance.

Now it was just me and her left there. She looked so fragile. I wanted to move those small hairs from her forehead. They were hindering her vision. I had this weird urge to run my hands through her red curls. She was rooted to the spot, so I walked towards her. She was so small that I had to lean down. It amused me in a different way. She shivered by our proximity. Her lips were parted a little. She smelled like Honey and Lavender.

I decided to tease her and breathed out on her neck, “See you on Monday. Shortcake.” I smirked and turned my back towards her.

Bye the time I reached the VIP section to find Patrick, he was talking over his phone with someone. “It was the sheriff. He told me that he spotted someone who matches her description one week ago.” Shit, Shit, Shit !! How could I possibly not notice the fact?? The only thing running in my mind was to keep Amara Safe at any cost!!
