Reveal and Deal

Malory

“Where are you?” Adrien asks, as I’m walking down into the street to get to my house.

“I’m almost home. It’s still early so I left some of costume pieces to take to the auditorium later. I should be there by two-thirty.”

“Doesn’t the play start at six?” he asks.

“We always have to reach much earlier on the actual days,” I tell him.

“Right,” he says. “I checked out the program that Dean downloaded onto my computer again. It works –your location can be found easily and the camera can pick up everything –sound and video. It’s wicked cool.”

“Don’t get used to it,” I tell him, “Everything we use will inevitably be given up anyway.”

“Where did you put the bugs? I can’t find you at all right now,” he tells me.

“That’s because I didn’t actually put them on me today.”

“What?” he asks, panicking, “Malory what if the person followed you home.”
