1000 Letters to myself

"I'm sorry," I say and tears start to roll down my cheeks. Hayden frowns and then slowly wipes the tears away while saying, "It wasn't your fault Heather, you've been blaming yourself for years and it saddens me to see you like this... I just want you to know that it wasn't your fault and you were right I was stupid and I guess I still am." I laugh and sniff saying, "No, no it was my fault... I should have gone with you that night, maybe you'd still be here."
