"He's gonna be okay." Evan whispers to me.
Shortly after the gunshot, Evan and his men found us and we drove him to the nearby hospital. It's been a few hours since we've we admitted him and we've gotten no news from the doctors as of yet.
"Don't lie to her." Jordan says quietly, but I heard it.
"It's okay. I'm okay." I say, wiping my tear stained cheeks.
"He loves you. He's not gonna leave you just yet." Avery says, taking a seat beside me and giving me a side hug. I lean onto her shoulder as I cry silently. She got here very quickly, after Evan called her up to stick around with me. I'm happy he did, he's progressing as an older brother.
"Do you wanna go wash up?" She asks softly, referring to my hands.
They still have his blood on them, as do his clothes that I'm still wearing.
"Come on." She says and tugs me towards the bathroom.
After washing up, I come back and sit back down in the same seat as before.
