Chapter One Hundred

"Who's the chick?" The leader from the other gang I'm assuming, says.

"That's not any of your business. You want me, leave her out of it."

"She seems important." The man notes, running a hand over his scruffy beard.

"I said leave her out of it!" He shouts and one of their men shoot at our feet.

"Erin! Come here!" Evan shouts.

I can't leave him.

"Please go, I already explained to you." He urges.

"I'm not leaving you."

"Babygirl-" he tries again, his face contorting into a look of pain.

"Let's run away together." I whisper, but he looks at me confused. In the distance is a motorcycle. He follows my gaze to the badboy that's I'm looking at.

"You're kidding right? This ain't the time to pull off a stunt. You're not Tom Cruise." He whispers back.

"How about a deal?" The man starts.

"Give the girl and we'll stop bothering you."

"Hell no!" Evan yells from the other side.

"Why not?" He turns his attention to Evan and the rest of our gang.
