Different From the Others

Opening his eyelids slowly, what came into his vision was a white ceiling and warm white light. He raised his torso and looked at his surroundings.

His expression changed as he felt something was missing. Touching his neck, the red, long fabric was nowhere to be found!

My scarf! He exclaimed as he quickly turned his head to the left and right, searching for it.

Then, he finally heaved a sigh of relief when he found his scarf was hung on a wall, near the door.

With that, he began to inspect the bedroom, starting it with the bed, yes, the bed.

It was a large bedroom with expensive-looking furniture in it. A vast bed that he only ruled, left an impression on him as it was comfortable that he didn't have to worry about hurting his back.

I'm going to ask my little brother if he would allow me to bring this to my hut. On second thought, let just not. My hut is too small, he said to himself, a bit disappointed.

Sigh, I need to change that bed, my back hurts every time I wake up, he made a mental note.

Just as he was about to get off of the bed, the door opened and a boy entered. Seeing Xu An had already woken up, the boy's eyes lit up.

"Uncle Xu! You're awake!"

"Oi, Arza. I have told you many times he wouldn't wake up for another five days!" A middle-aged man said in a slightly furious tone.

However, his expression changed to that of shock when he saw Xu An already up from his slumber and about to get up from his bed.

"Xu An? How could this be? The doctor said you used your qi to the limit and won't wake up for another five days! Give me your hand." The middle-aged man hastily approached Xu An.

Xu An gave the middle-aged man his right arm without hesitation. The man held Xu An's wrist and sent a strand of qi throughout his body, scanning him.

"I'm fine, uncle," said Xu An with a smile. He wasn't sure how to explain this either as he didn't know.

After inspecting his entire body, the middle-aged man retracted his hand with an expression of disbelief before changing that to delight.

He grabbed Xu An's shoulders and pulled him to and fro frantically with a bright smile, "This is amazing, Xu An! Your recovery rate is two times faster than anyone else! In a matter of time, you can even regenerate your arm!"

Xu An wore a puzzled look, he wasn't at all happy with this.

Uncle, please don't set up a flag! He said to himself.

"Why?" Xu An asked.

Releasing his grip from Xu An's shoulders, his uncle shrugged his shoulders in a carefree manner, "I have no idea."

Xu An's mouth twitched. He opened his mouth and was about to say something when his uncle explained, "It lies on your body, I can't pinpoint what's the reason. If I force it, it would be risky for you.

"You're the only one who can figure out the reason."

"How am I supposed to do that? Uncle knows I have little knowledge of cultivation and not a genius."

Xu An's uncle was a tall, broad-chested, muscular middle-aged man. He had a black beard and black hair. His eyes were as bright as the sun instead of gold. Of course, one couldn't differentiate it except upon closer observation.
