They could have buried them but Infantry soldiers were like dogs. It could be found within the shortest time possible.

One forgets to point this out. As to why the Infantry soldiers would come all the way here, it was because the accident happened at the Inn.

The ruckus he caused, the blood which repainted the room, and bullet holes.

It would be weird if the Infantry and Security Forces did not send their men to his home so as to interrogate him.

You might think, if the human ice sculptures were buried and both the Infantry and Security Forces did not know about their existence from the start, there would be no need to put in any extra effort.

They came to Xu An just to interrogate him, after all.

Wrong! Infantry and Security Forces usually bring dogs that have excellent noses. The human ice sculptures exude faint mana. They would know rather instantly where it was buried and should it be found out, the effort Xu An made to make those graves would be all for nothing.

Therefore, the safest thing to do was to toss them into the river and make all the evidence reduced to zero.

Xu An was pondering for a few seconds and after that, he said as he shook his head and smiled, "You don't have to. I don't know why you don't want that to happen to them but I'll not mock, infuriate or insult you for that."

I'm not that low, Xu An silently added.

Heileen lifted her eyes so as to meet with Xu An's ember eyes. Her eyes flashed with gratitude and admiration.

"Thank you, Master!" Heileen embraced Xu An. The latter tried to dodge but she was simply too fast despite the two hills on her chest.

Buried under it, Xu An was not aroused at all. He was still normal, just wanted to point that out.

He did not know the reason himself and he began to doubt that he was a man.

Could it be that I'm homosexual? Xu An thought to himself and shivered.

Ptui! I rather die than enter my little brother into a man's hole! Xu An inwardly cursed.

Regardless, it could not be denied that being pressed his head against her chest was a good feeling. It felt so soft and warm. He might get addicted.

A few seconds later, Heileen let go of Xu An from her embrace and her expression was that of troubled.

"What should we do, then?" She pondered.

Xu An shifted his line of sight from her to the ice sculptures. Abruptly, he had something in mind.

"Can you let them free for a short period?" Xu An pondered.

"I can but why?" Heileen asked curiously.

Xu An smiled mysteriously as he calmly said, "Just do what I tell you. You'll see."

Xu An came to the nearest ice sculpture's side. It was a man protecting his face with his arms.

"We'll start with this. I want you to let go of his arms. Oh right, I know you in there can hear me so cooperate with me if you don't want to die.

"If you move your arm not the way I want, I'll kill you." His very last words were deep and cold as his smile vanished. Heileen's heart skipped a beat, not only because of his words but it was also because of the terrifying and intense killing intent he spilled out.

It was to the point of solidifying. It may only be her imagination but she could see a sea of spirits coming out of Xu An, screaming in agony and begging for mercy, some crying and some cursing him.

Following that, the atmosphere dropped all of a sudden as though the gravity had intensified. Heileen's instinct was screaming to run but she endured it.

This killing intent... Master, what are you? Heileen thought to herself as a memory of a person standing on top of corpses, laughing maniacally to the sky, flashed over her mind.

Her face turned pale as a corpse.

The person inside the ice was not any better. Probably had it worse. He wanted to scream yet could not. He wanted to run but, same as screaming, it was impossible.

It was torturing and dreadful.

"Okay, let's continue. Heileen, please unfreeze his arms," politely requested Xu An.

"Yes, okay!" Heileen replied politely and in a formal tone as she instantly unfroze the guy's arms.

Xu An's eyebrows knitted upon that but temporarily ignored it. It was not important right now.

The guy's arms fall weakly. It was as though the person was dead but he was still alive.

While it was true they were frozen to death. It still required a process, Xu An did not know how long but he guessed it should take hours.

That may sound unscientific but that's what's happening right now.

"Raise your hands as if you're about to fight a war," ordered Xu An. The person in the ice, let's call him Jay B for the sake of convenience, did what Xu An told him.

Xu An nodded satisfyingly, "Perfect. Heileen, please."

"Yes!" She instantly replied and froze his arms as a cold, icy blue laser beam came out of her palms. Instantly freezing the guy.

"It's done, Sir!" Heileen replied as though she was a soldier.

"Sir?" Xu An wore a perplexed expression.

"I mean, Master."

Xu An observed her worriedly for a few seconds before retracting it to the guy with a new position. However, the guy's legs were in an off position, which made him look weird.

"Unfreeze his legs, please," requested Xu An as he pointed his finger at those hairy legs.

"Your wish is my command, Master." Heileen nodded and did the same like the arms.

Xu An told the person inside what the position of his legs should be. However, because the ice was still on his torso. He moved backward for a few steps as the ice was quite heavy.

Jay B tried his best to maintain his balance but it was simply too hard for him to withstand such a heavy block of ice engulfing his upper body.

Finally, after he struggled his best from falling. His foot caught on a small stone and he stumbled.

"Watch out!" Xu An warned him but it was already very, very late. It was as though there was a delay between Xu An and Jay B tripping over.

This results in Jay B hitting the ground and his torso being destroyed by small bits of ice. Someone could grab a handful and put it in their glass without knowing it was from a human corpse.

Xu An's expression was that of regret and sorry as he pretended to be at fault about what had happened.

Heileen had her eyes constricted as she was shocked. Jay B's death was so sudden that her mind blanked for a short second.

She looked at her Master and his expression was something she expected but it looked fake but at the same time real. Heileen could not differentiate it.

"Sorry," apologized Xu An as he averted his line of sight from the two legs to Heileen and continued, "We should bury him."

Heileen agreed as she moved her head up and down, slowly nodding. It felt unreal that someone died before you and it was something you least expect it.

It was as though you got rich overnight as you won a lottery ticket. You might be wondering if this was anything but a dream but when you pinched your cheek, you realized the pain was as real as the enormous money in your bank.

Burying a pair of legs was still enough to get into the dogs' nose but Xu An had a way to prevent the scent from leaking out.

By the way, the ice fragments on the ground vaporized as it let out faint yet pitched steaming noises.

Xu An had just seen this and was surprised. He glanced at Heileen, wanting an explanation.

"When the person inside truly died. They will be vaporized, leaving nothing in this world," explained Heileen as she grasped Xu An's intention.

"You don't like people dying without leaving nothing, yet you learn something completely contradictory, can I know the reason?" Xu An asked slowly and calmly. Earlier, Xu An did not want to probe much further as he had little interest but now, it was intensified as it passed the curiosity bar.

"I–" Heileen darted her eyes around as she did not want to see Xu An's calm eyes.

A few seconds of silence and Heileen still not opening her mouth. In this aspect, Xu An knew the reason was not something to be forcefully told.

"Forget it, let's just continue with what we are doing," said Xu An as he dismissed everything to the nearest ice sculpture and walked away as he left Heileen alone.

Heileen did not budge from her position as she bit her lips in regret and fury to herself.
