READY

*gasp* I *huff huff* can't puff do this anymore" Kaius cried out trying to stop running but anytime he stops he feels a sharp pain in his head. This pain was something Eve called a mental slap. He has been running for an hour and thirty minute straight and he needed a rest. "I told you Kaius you need to build up your stamina you can't expect to be powerful when you can even run plus you said and I quote 'I can do it I can run for five hours without stoping I did it many times when I was in the camp. I can even do it in my sleep'' Eve replies mimicking Kaius's voice perfectly.

Kaius was to tried to be amazed do he didn't ask how Eve did it. "Well I was wrong can I stop now" he overestimated his 10 years old body. He was still trying to get used to his new body although he was still a bit clumsy he has gotten the hang of it. It been six days since he came back from the hospital, four days since he started his exhausting workout with Eve.

"you can stop running now"

Huff puff huff puff Kaius placed his hand on his knees trying not to collapse on the floor. His breathing was unsteady and his chest was raising and falling rapidly. He was proud of himself although it's only a little bit his endurance increased. The first time he ran he could barely run for an hour. He ran, walked, and even crawled just to finish his quota because anytime he stopped Eve would give him a mental slap.

At the edge of a window, a man could be seen staring at the little boy who looked like he was about to collapse at any moment. This man was Luther Goldmann, Kaius father. He has been monitoring his son closely this past few days. He could see a change in his son's behavior. His son has been going out more not staying locked up in his room all day. Although he wasn't sure what caused his change he could only guess that his son finally let his mother go. He felt glad at least now he could look for a mother for his son and a wife for himself. With that thought in Mind he closed the window and left.

Getting out of the shower, Kaius got dressed and left his room to have some breakfast. While he was eating his father came in . These couple of days his father has been constantly checking on him either by sending someone or come himself. "Kaius I hope you are feeling better"

"Yes father, I'm feeling better. Do you need something?" Kaius replied not knowing why his father interrupted his breakfast and continued eating. "I wanted to know if you are prepared for school tomorrow"

*Clink* Kaius's fork dropped from his hand. How could he have forgotten something so important. He had school tomorrow no more time for lazing around. "I presume you are not but remember to get yourself ready. If you don't feel ready for school yet say so now although I think you're ready"

Kaius shook his head. He wasn't ready but he doesn't think he would ever be ready to face the outside world that swallowed him whole. "I am ready." His father said a few more things and left.

"Eve praises Kaius decision. I believe you are ready." Kaius smiled and started preparing himself mentally and physically for the place he. Dreaded the most. School.
