Hera Is Scary

"Gotta be quicker than that!" I yelled out with a smirk as I tripped Lady Artemis, causing the goddess to face plant into the forest, bouncing and destroying the grass floor.

Artemis flipped upward and landed on her feet looking at me enraged as she cursed and looked around possibly scared of her hunters seeing me teasing her.

"Just because you're older doesn't mean you're stronger," Artemis said through clenched teeth as she turned away to hunt.

Smiling I nodded and stepped right next to her. "I guess that is true, You Olympians are way stronger than me after all," I said putting my arms above my head, carefree as Cerberus was doing any work I would have done by myself.

"Hey, I never asked... Why are you a maiden goddess?... With your divinity of Childbirth, it seems weird..." I asked, remembering Zeus had told me each of the Olympian's divinities.

Artemis froze at my words, causing me to look at her in confusion as she turned away, shaking subtly.

"I... don't know what you are talking about" Artemis answered as she flashed forward, Aluna coming up next to her.

("I am connected to Lady Artemis My King... She isn't very happy, I suggest hunting yourself to keep your Godhood intact") Aluna said with a warning referring to my nether regions.

"Fine... Cerberus... I trust you are doing well" I said turning away and flashing through the forest with the Hermes sandals from the system.

"Yes master, I've cleared the northern side of the forest!" Cerberus yelled happily as I smiled at her and pat her on the head. "Good... the hunters should be fine with that right?... I have more important things to do..." I said with a sigh remembering my quest with Aphrodite.

"Master?" Cerberus said letting out a low-sounding hum and grabbing my hand, perhaps sensing my plight.

"Hah... let's go home... the hunters are about done anyway," I said and looked around before walking off away from the forest, sensing Artemis and Aluna watching me leave...

After returning to Olympus, the first thing I did was make my way to greet Hephaistos, Couldn't just ignore her after all.

Though stepping in the house I could tell that it wasn't a good time due to the smelting smell, Indicating she was currently forging something.

'Ugh... being married is tough' I thought to myself as I quickly left the house once more to not be found out. I had something to tell her... something that would change things and possibly make her mad... so I wanted to stall as much as I could.

"Hmmm, Cerberus you can go ahead and do your own thing... I'm gonna visit Zeus" I told her as I pat her head and flashed away, letting her do whatever she wants.

Upon arriving at Zeus's large golden house where he and Hera lived, I saw hera outside smoking Ambrosia that was wrapped up and seemingly listening to something going on inside the house.

"Hey, Hera?" I asked confused by before my ears picked up sensual noises coming from inside. It was very clear what was happening and I didn't want to be a part of it.

"Ah man, It seems Helios is calling me haha," I say turning around before Hera's voice calls out, a little choked up.

"Sit down" I sat down... What else was I supposed to do? Hera is scary.

'Zeus... good job now I'm gonna have to hear her life story I thought to myself as I heard him slapping a random nymph's ass as she screamed in pleasure.

"So... how has your evening been Hera?" I asked with a kind smile as I tried to ignore the noises coming from inside.

Apparently, this was insensitive to her feelings as she looked at me with tears in her eyes, causing me to feel uncomfortable as she blew smoke into my face.

"Is there something wrong with me?" Hera asked mainly to herself as her voice choked up, her divine tears starting to trail down her cheeks.

"I should have known this is how it was gonna be, But why in Tarturas does it hurt!?" Hera screamed out causing me to feel even more uncomfortable.

I didn't like getting involved with Olympus drama, because things like this happened too often, one of the main reasons I had avoided most of them and just did my own thing.

The biggest drama to happen was Zeus's affair with Methis, and the biggest insult to Gera was probably the child named Athena I had only talked to once or twice.

"Hah..." I let out a small sigh as I put my hand on Hera's shoulder. "Zeus is just... A guy who needs to have more... uhh..." I let my voice wander off as I let go of her shoulder and stood up.

"Don't worry Hera You're not ugly at all, probably one of the most beautiful goddesses, so put your head up, Show Zeus you're better than a common whore!" I said before turning away, hoping I could get away this time.

I would probably just sit and sleep on Cerberus's fluff for a while before going back home...

"Adonymos..." Hera called out my name as she was stood up as well. "Thank you... how you are a god for our Pantheon is a mystery..." Hera then gained a violent glint in her eyes as she set them on the house.

"Zeus!" Hera yelled as she stormed into the house, banging and loud yells could be heard as Nymphs and satyrs walked through hearing the drama.

Seeing this as my chance I quickly got out of there, I had my own problems... like conquering Aphrodite... which would actually be harder since it seemed she had a boyfriend... maybe I should just take the punishment for the quest?

...

I spent a few hours looking at the system and organizing things as I paced in front of my house and finally went inside. Hoping that I could tell Hephaistos my true thoughts about our relationship.

I should have never kissed her... but Nectar was in my system, what could I do?

"Hello, Adonymos!" Hephaistos yelled out seeing me walk in. Seeing her gleeful smile I sighed inwardly, I couldn't help but think about her face being heartbroken.

Her status read 100, as she had that much love for me and considered herself my wife, I just couldn't tell her...

"Hephaistos I've decided..." I said suddenly causing get to freeze as I coughed into my palm. "We've been married for a while now... I think it's time..." I said with a sad tone as she looked at me in shock.

"You mean..."

"I want to sleep in the same room, It's getting annoying sleeping on the hammock, I try to get comfortable but it just doesn't cut it," I said finishing my words as let out a sigh of relief that I had been able to tell her everything I needed to.

"Adon..." Hephaistos said with a scary tone. "Of course you can sleep with me!... just... ask... ok?" Hephaistos looked away with a glowing gold face, indicating that she was blushing.

'Hm? why's she acting so weird?... well whatever, I have a bed now!' I thought to myself ignoring her weird tone and behavior as I went straight to the room and jumped on the bed, sleeping in it for the first time...

(Bonus: Cerberus's day)

After master left I wasn't sure what to do, back in the Underworld all I had to do was guard the spirits being punished, which had actually started to grow once humans were discovered and they started to die as well.

Deciding I should do something that might help master, I quickly ran back toward the forest, hoping to meet Aluna in order for us to plan, maybe give master a gift?

"Aluna!" I yelled as I ran in the middle of the Hunters camp. I didn't really like these girls, they were rude to master, they should be bowing their heads, ungrateful...

Aluna turned and dipped her head in greeting as she strode towards me, her beautiful silver fur blowing in the soft breeze due to the wind spirits.

"Hmm, you want to get a gift for the king..." Aluna said to me. Unlike master, who had a natural connection to the forest and could understand all his "kingdom" naturally, I was able to speak all their languages.

After the hunt, Aluna and I went on our own hunt for a gift for Master...
