22 - Many Colors

Ana, somewhat startled, gave a little jump in her chair, but soon concentrated again on the game. The enemy top jumped over toward Ana. He was purple and carried a strange type of weapon, more like a flashlight than a gun really. Ana pressed the F key and made Gnar, in the blink of an eye, teleport a small distance farther from the enemies, but not far enough away.

Gnar made a few more attacks on the enemies as he ran back, preventing them from hitting him. The two continued to run towards the little kitten, who did not look scared at all.

The little kitten's bar then completed, he was in a shade of dark red, appearing to be very angry. Her eyes were red and her cat's pupil was completely thin. Gnar started to shine and then, Ana again pressed 'E' and Gnar jumped in the air, towards the enemy champions, transforming into Mega Gnar in the middle of the jump.

Mega Gnar was three times bigger than little Gnar. His hair color was a very dark red with some blue stripes. His fangs looked like an elephant, they were so big. If Ataz were to ever stay close to Mega Gnar, he could be crushed completely by the giant cat's step.

The monstrosity hit the ground, doing extreme damage to enemies, without giving them any reaction time. Ana then, without hesitation, pressed the 'R' key and Mega Gnar, without mercy, threw his enemies against the wall near the river, causing them to be buried, standing still. Ana then hit the 'Q' key and Mega Gnar threw a rock at them. The two enemy champions were almost lifeless. Ana didn't stop and hit 'W' and 'Q' again right after.

"An enemy has been eliminated" appeared on the game screen.

The guy with the strange weapon was still alive, and Mega Gnar was already turning back into Gnar. The enemy managed to use one of his skills to keep Gnar from moving and ran under his friendly tower. Ana then desperately forced her 'E', causing Gnar to jump over the little warriors who had an internal fight with the allied warriors, as they just didn't care about anything else around them.

Gnar leapt for the warriors, coming very close to the enemy who was running away pitifully with little of his life left. Ana then pressed the 'Q' key again, causing the boomerang to leave the little kitten's hands, slowing the other enemy down. Gnar approached the champion, giving him small attacks and suddenly...

"Double Kill!"

Ana undid the stressful posture that her body showed, relaxing in the chair while making Gnar move into one of the bushes as she pressed the 'B' key. A blue circle began to emerge around the kitten and it began to act out some strange movements, as if it were dancing, until it was teleported to the spawn point of the beginning of the game.

Ana fell apart on the chair while buying some items. Ataz kept looking very confused for the whole play, trying to understand what had happened, but it was so bright on the screen that he could barely see the difference in colors.

Interestingly, even though he was a cat, Ataz could still see the colors and the saturation of them with the same tone as a human. The only downside now was that he was still as myopic as he used to be, but his night vision was still very poor. Apparently, Ataz needed to somehow train his vision to improve his ability to see clearly.

A good reason for Ataz to train cat skills was because he wouldn't need to spend his mana on things like night vision or speed, as it would be acquired naturally by him now being a cat, however, he could lend an extra hand to improve those skills using magic. That is, if a cat could run up to 97 kilometers per hour, Ataz could triple that value, causing him to run at almost the same speed as a cheetah, running 3 meters per second.

"Hey cat? Do you understand anything that's going on?" Ana laughed as she turned her head to the cat, who was staring at the screen with his pupils dilated, indicating he was tense from the gameplay.

Ana looked at him, remembering what had happened a little while ago and turned to the cat, saying, "I think my old notebook is here at home. If you really understand me, maybe I can get you to play with me? Who knows, maybe you can beat Igor? Hahaha , he would be extremely angry." Ana then turned her head back to her screen.

Ataz looked at her with a thoughtful look. "That sounds interesting. It's a good way to understand the champions' abilities, but... Who is Igor again?" He lifted his head slightly to the right, trying to remember who this guy Ana had mentioned and why she even had so much and toward him.

Even though Ataz was very smart and quick to reason, he had a fairly weak memory. Then events that were not so relevant to him were thrown into the cat's subconscious, quickly being forgotten.

A few minutes passed and Ataz was completely stretched out on the computer table, dead asleep. It was already dawn and last morning, Ataz had been woken up early to go to the amusement park. He was no longer with his head pointed at the computer, or at least at Ana. His back was already to the screen, trying to make sure that the light did not bother his little eyes which begged for the dark.

"Double Kill!"

"My god, what an INSUFFERABLE MAN," Ana said, slapping her hand hard on the table.

Ataz was startled, jumping from his position and instantly turning to Ana, who was lying in the chair with her arms crossed and her face sulking.

"Sorry, I'm just pissed. This shit Yasuo from my team is 2/7 and is cursing me as if I were to blame for that. He just keeps killing himself," She said, frustrated. Before he could process what Ana was saying, Ataz lowered his head and passed out again.

"Yasuo is the champion of troubled people," Ana added, while moving the mouse to the corner of the screen, frustrated.

She let go of the mouse and crossed her arms as the game screen moved quickly towards the base, on top of the largest crystal that was protected by two towers, and then, magically, the crystal exploded and a single word appeared on the screen: 'Defeat.'

Ana closed the game and pressed a button causing the computer to shut down. She got up from her chair, intending to go to sleep, but saw Ataz lying on the table, passed out. She carefully picked him up without waking him, and took him to bed, placing the cat carefully on the end of the double bed she had in the other room. Ataz moved to the side slightly, snuggling more into the blankets that were spread out over the bed.

---

"You are different from the others, aren't you, young man?" Said a strange voice in the darkness.

"Who's there?" Ataz said, holding a torch of light in his hand, trying to illuminate those strange stones that were around him.

"I smell your heart. You are not the same," the mysterious voice said.

"What do you mean by that?" Ataz said, turning around, looking for the voice.

Suddenly a familiar voice began to emerge, far away, "ATAZ PLEASE!"

---

The cat got up, startled, looking around trying to figure out where he was. He was still lying on the bed of the girl who was no longer in the room. "Am I not the same anymore...? IT'S OBVIOUS I'VE CHANGED, I AM A CAT! DO YOU THINK I DON'T REALIZE IT SUBCONSCIOUSLY?!" he thought, annoyed that he couldn't get a peaceful night's sleep.

Then Ataz heard some impatient footsteps from the room, pacing back and forth. He got up and jumped from the bed to the floor, walking calmly into the room.

Ana was walking worriedly with the cell phone in her hand. The expression on her face looked a little irritated. The cell phone started to ring and she impatiently pressed several times on the screen causing it to stop. "Stop calling me, damn!" she said while looking angry and quickly moving her fingers over her cell phone.
