I'm The F*cking Devil

(Damon's POV)

I waited patiently for Kaydence to exit the room. Our minds were both in a dark place but I knew I could live with the things I would do to these three. I didn't want to risk her sealing their fates and not being able to deal with it later. She was angry now, but eventually that would go away.

The door closed and I looked at the Bushemps. We had done quite a number on them. They were mainly beaten up but Meredith was still clearly in pain as the acid had left her hand looking like ground up raw hamburger meat. Her hand was about to be the least of her worries though.

"Are we ready to finish this up?" I asked Justin.

"I'm ready if you are." He responded.

"What more can you do to us?" Meredith asked. I could sense a hint of defeat in her tone. "You've destroyed my company and the one ticket I had to save it just helped you beat the shit out of my family."

I walked closer to Meredith. "What more can I do? I can do lots of things Meredith, it's just a matter of deciding the best for the three of you. Either way all of them end with death."

"You monster!" She shouted.

"I'm worse than a monster." My tone was dark and malicious as I spoke. "I'm the fucking devil Meredith."

"Let us go! You can have the little bitch!" She made it seem like this was her call to make. She was wrong.

"Watch your mouth when you're talking about my wife." I warned. My blood was boiling by her words but I was containing myself. "I'm a reasonable man Meredith, I'll give you two options on how this ends."

"And what's that?" She asked.

"I can kill you, then Alastair and Zachariah would get to go on with their lives. Or, I can kill them and spare you." I knew damn well which option she would choose. She was a selfish bitch after all.

"Grandmother, please. Make the right choice here." Zachariah's words were slurred as he pleaded with her.

"Well Meredith, time's ticking. If you take too long then I'll have to make the decision for you and if I do that you'll all fucking die." I was growing impatient. I was ready for this whole thing to be over. They had taken enough from us.

Meredith looked at Alastair and Zachariah. She then turned her attention back to me. She decided to go ahead and call my bluff. "You won't do shit. You don't have the balls to kills anyone Damon."

"Mother!" Alastair protested.

I looked over at both Zachariah and him. "This is what she does! This is what you have condoned to happen! Be the fucking man of your family Alastair! You should've put your mother in her place when you had the chance!"

I walked over to the table and picked up a knife. Meredith's eyes grew wide as she realized I was not bluffing. I walked behind Zachariah and looked her in the eyes as I slit his throat. I wanted this to be slow and painful for him and make it even worse for them to watch.

I dropped the knife to the floor and lowered my lips to his ear. My voice remained dark as I spoke. "You see Zachariah, this is how you kill someone and finish the fucking job!"

"You son of a bitch!" Alastair shouted as he watched his son die in front of him.

"Y-You." Meredith choked out as she looked at me and then Zachariah. "I didn't think. I didn't think you would."

I waited quietly as Alastair and Meredith frantically looked at each other to decide if there was any other way out. There wasn't. No matter what Meredith had chosen I already knew how this was going to end. Kaydence and I were the ones who had decided.

Zachariah's body finally went limp in the chair as the blood stopped and the life left his eyes. My shooter had finally been dealt with and there was no way he would be able to come back for us. Now to just finish off Alastair and the rest of the plan would be put into action.

I looked over to Alastair and shot him a malicious grin. "It's your turn."

"Stop!" Meredith screeched. "We'll do anything, we'll leave you alone! Please just stop this!"

I walked over to the table and picked up a sledgehammer. I held it tightly in my hands as Justin knocked the chair over to make Alastair lay on the ground. "Damon, stop this madness!" Alastair's fear was obvious as I got closer and closer.

"Damon!" Meredith screamed.

I didn't let their pleas stop me. They were only trying to save their own asses at this point. I couldn't believe a damn thing either of them said. They were awful and horrible, they had killed Kaydence's father and they couldn't be trusted. The Bushemp bloodline had to be taken out once and for all.

I raised the sledgehammer up and it came back down with force right into Alastair's skull. I repeated this over and over. His blood splattered everywhere and I didn't stop until I knew he was gone for good. By the time I finished he was unrecognizable.

I turned around to face Meredith. She had tears in her eyes that were now escaping down her cheeks. I think this is the first time this woman has ever shown any emotion. Of course she was upset, I had just taken away the last two people that meant anything to her.

"I guess that makes me next then." She spoke through her sobs. "Just go ahead then. Get it over with!"

I let out a dark chuckle. "I don't think so Meredith."

She looked at me slightly confused. "What do you mean?"

"Death is too good for you." I responded. "It would be giving you the easy way out. It's much more fun to make you live with the images of me killing your son and grandson while you rot in prison."

"What the hell are you talking about?" She asked.

"It's going to be quite the story Meredith. See you were so distraught by losing your company that you had reached your breaking point. So you acted out of anger and murdered the rest of your family." I explained the plans I had for her. "People will think you had a mental breakdown and then they'll lock you up. Even then I'll make sure the guards treat you like shit and make you feel worthless as you finish your days off in prison."
