The Summon for the second phase ended and each returned to his abode. Marlowe studied the maps of the two kingdoms as well; he just didn't choose an approach like Duncan. He relied on written parchments and drawn images made by humans. However, as he walked the rest of the night in Darsoania, trying Duncan's footsteps, the tracks were more honed and polished, humans made continuous restorations to the whole land despite the cold. They kept researching new ways of defeating the cold and their persistence was quite the pride.

He didn't know if he should go to the empty manor of Duncan or just wait for him in his mansion. He wanted to understand what the Ambrosia and his Uncle had seen in him. The Empress was a hard woman to please, even if you shared her bed, there was no guarantee she would give what you asked or desired. She always played with her subjects as toys.
