Not all reasons are enough to excuse a bad deed

With all the coming and going, things were beginning to turn ugly. Sierra mumbled something incoherent about a little a fantasy and dreams that needed to stay alive. Mike Jones had faded for a while. Certainly, a somewhat perspective of passing peacefully. She learnt something of new about the other world; creatures that passed on peacefully and normally wouldn't turn into shadows and Lingerings. Well, it didn't matter to her right now. It wasn't her role to go around and try to fix what was fixable in those shadows. She chose to look away from them because it seemed logical.

He said to never run away from the truth but it was allowed to dream a little, just a little until she was able to accept the truth as it was, bitter and agonizing. She jumped on her two feet and looked around. Dawn had finally showed its first rays, which meant that most shadows and Lingerings wouldn't be visible to her.
