The prophecy

Silkpaw hurried to the clan meeting. It had been two moons since Robinpaw and the riverclan Apprentice had been washed away with the flood. Riverclan and thunderclan share sunning rocks now in honor of the two lost apprentices. Thunderclan gets the half closest to the forest and riverclan get the half closest to the river. Silkpaw had mourned these two moons for the lost of Robinpaw and only recently had she been her usual self thanks to her sisters lightpaw and shadepaw they had been so kind to her and now she had stopped mourning. Falconstar called "silkpaw and lightpaw have done well in there training and their assessment and will now be warriors, silkpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code?" "I do" replies silkpaw. "Then from the power of star clan your warrior name will now be silkfur!" "Lightpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code?" "I do" she answers with a curt nod. "Then with the power of starclan you are now Lightpounce" "lightpounce,silkfur,lightpounce,silkfur!" They all cheered. Silkfur puffed her chest proudly. Soon it was night and lightpounce and silkfur had to guard the camp. Silkfur struggled not to fall asleep and they had to prod each other continuously. After what seemed like moons it was morning, her first morning as a warrior.

silkfur had just come back from a patrol and she saw a crowd in the clearing. "What's going on?" She asked. "I'm sorry silkfur your mother... dustfleck she is gone, she was carried away by the current new leaf has weakened the ice and she fell through I'm truly sorry." There was a little tuft of fur in the middle where cats were gathering it was her soft grey fur... "no, I'm not going to lose another cat to that river! I gonna find her body and give her a proper vigil and burial instead of letting the foxes get to her!" Everybody was staring at her as if she turned into a fish. Falconstar gazed up at her and said "we understand once you come back you will be welcome home" "wait! She can't go alone I'm coming with her!" She turned to see it was lightpounce. "And I'll teach you some herbs" shade tree whispered. She gave a curt nod "well that's settled we will leave in the morning then!"
